Arturo Boada Cuisine
Tue–Sun 5:30 pm–10:00 pm
The food was cooked to the very perfection. I got the Rigatoni with sugar rose sauce, my friend got the fettuccine and shrimp and both of them were outstanding, the real taste of fresh food! The empanadas for appetizer are a must, don't skip it or you will regret it. For desert we got the creme brulee, delicate and tasty. The service was amazing, Diego rocks, he is the best! He gave us the perfect recommendations and was very kind and prompt. The chef Arturo was there and came to the table to make sure everything was okay, very friendly and attentive. Thanks for the great experience. Highly recommended!
The seafood in this place was quite delicious.
We started with the little neck clams steamed with white wine, garlic, lemon, red pepper and it brought me back to some of my fondest memories when I lived in NYC.
We followed that up with their mussels cooked with jalapeño and tomatillo peppers also with red pepper flakes and white wine and some cilantro. Spectacular flavor. We them met the chef owner Arturo and cooked up a ahi tuna steak w soy ginger flavors .....as they say forgetaboutit!!!
Definitely a must stop on the Houston stay overs.
Always a great dinner and attention from the staff.
Beyond the impeccable service, the food was absolutely phenomenal!! Thank you, Arturo Boada! We will definitely be back!
Great food great waiter! Use to go but it’s been a while had a great time. We will not wait as long next time.
Great wine list
Arturo Boada Cuisine never disappoints ! Whether it is for a lunch, couple dinner or a small private business dinner I always have a good experience. Thank you
It was my wife’s birthday. There were 8 of us. Mr. Boada’s team took such good care of us. Very attentive service. And the food was... spectacular! They even sliced the cake for us. We asked that the extra slices be passed around to the others in the restaurant. Great experience! Our third time here.
After all these years, The quality of the food is very consistent and the service very very friendly.
Our server was very attentive during all our dinner. Thank you very much.
As always, a wonderful place to have a fabulous dinner with friends.
We love this restaurant. The food is always excellent. While the menu has remained the same over the last year or so, they always have specials (which, by the way, are very fresh). The mussels are great (no matter which sauce you use) as are the steaks/veal chops. Always order the garlic bread. To die for.
Simply awesome food and efficient / thoughtful service.
Very good food
Well enjoyed by all!
Arturo's Boada, near Voss and San Felipe, is a small restaurant that is nearly invisible in a small strip center that would not cause you to seek it out for dinner - but go! This is a classy, neighborhood restaurant - ideal for a relaxing dinner with people you want to spend time with. We go out to dinner at restaurants all over Houston, of all types, but at the end of the day, when we want consistently great food in a dressy-casual atmosphere, Arturo's is our choice. The gaspacho is great, the snapper is wonderful, and the dessert - particularly the homemade ice cream - is terrific. And the waiters are, too. Bravo.
Arturo Boada has been one of my favorite restaurants since it opened. The mix of Spanish and Italian cuisine is absolutely astounding. The homemade buratta cheese is an absolute must. All the waiters are authentic, professional, and entertaining. They love to talk with their customers and ensure you’re having the best possible meal. It’s pretty expensive but it’s worth every penny and then some. I never leave dissatisfied.
1st time and amazed at the food. staff was on point. We will be coming here more often now
We had a great time and the food was delicious, Craig
We had a table for 6 people and the service was fun and attentive. We all enjoyed ours meals and the great evening
The service & food were phenomenal
This is our favorite restaurant in Houston, and we have been to them all. This restaurant consistently has great food, service and wine. Camillo and Diego are great.
Authentic Italian cuisine with neighborhood charm.
A bit pricey for the experience but overall a good evening.
Dinner was outstanding. We were lucky to get a taste of Chef Boada’s handmade Cannelloni - superb. Enough for a main, but we split it. I had the tuna - great. My sister had the mussels. Wine list was extensive and last but not least their take on creme brûlée was unique. I won’t spoil the presentation. Will return again.
Auturo's is cozy but tends to be loud. Food choices and variety are very good. Wine selection is slightly on the expensive side.
Ceviche was fantastic as was ravioli
Wonderful place with superior bistro feel. Staff is friendly and service great. Classic Italian that is outstanding. Great wine selection. Just a fun place to meet friends or for the family.
The food is amazing, the service is really great. Highly recommend trying it. It is a loud place in the middle of the restaurant so get a table by the window if you can.
Loved this neighborhood family owned Italian restaurant. Red snapper and dorado special were delicious. Only think that needed to be upgraded was the bread. Will go back again!
Wonderful. Highly recommend.
Great as always
Wonderful!! Food, service, ambiance. Try the homemade ravioli. Fantastic!
Very good ravioli and rose wine was perfect and cold!!!
A lovely meal and friendly professional servers. We always feel special here and the staff seems to remember us even though it may have been several months since our last visit. Enjoyed a wonderful house salad with hearts of palm, ravioli and chicken provencal. Delightful!
Hands-on chef makes all the difference. Paella was well executed. Pasta tasted great.
Octopus, mussels, chicken Provençal and snapper al fresco were excellent. Tried the Boada label white wine, was great. Wonderful ambiance.
We had been eyeballing this place for awhile due to the great reviews on Open Table. The reviews are accurate. The service was very friendly and efficient and spot on. We had the Camarones en Hamaca for one appetizer and also the Mussels with tomatillo broth both very good then the Spinach salad but I was surprised it had olives in it which was not listed in its description. I don’t like olives so the GF eat those for me. Had the Pallela special just thought the pork and chicken were over cooked. One draw back the place only sells wine and beer. Really nice place we will be back.
Had never been before - based upon my initial experience, I cannot wait to return. All of the food we had was delicious and expertly prepared. Clam appetizer, salmon and snapper were all fantastic. Arturo - the Owner / Chef came around the dining room checking on people's meals - very nice touch. Service was very attentive and menu options are varied. Neighborhood gem.
Arturo Boada is our “go to” restaurant We love the ambiance, the food, the service. We are never disappointed
We love this restaurant. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is warm. The service amazing. One of my favorite restaurants in Houston. The owner makes us feel extra special.
In certain respects this may well be the perfect restaurant. It's excellent and authentic, but has a welcoming, homey, unpretentious feel to it. I hadn't been in ages, but it still felt like putting on my favorite old pair of jeans - nice and comfortable.
Loved my halibut special and the tuna tartare. My date said the mussels were a smidge gritty but still tasty (she's a tad high-maintenance). Good desserts, even though we got them to-go and ate them at home.
Our server Diego exuded joy, warmth and friendliness. The owner himself makes a point of making the rounds and sat down at one table for a long time, as though he were catching up with an old friend. We're very fortunate to have this gem in our neighborhood.
