Living in Park City, we have many fine restaurants, however, it comes with a price! Cena's location being at mid mountain at Deer Valley keeps it out of the main street crowd and the price structure. Having just returned from 3 week in Italy, the pasta dish I had was far superior than anything in Italy. This time of the year being a local, you can get 2 for 1 and it makes even MORE appealing. The service, the atmosphere, and the food is alway great and it's our favorite spot time and time again.

The bread and the appetizers were awesome. The dessert was good, but the main course was not to our taste. Still, it was a nice place and we enjoyed our evening.

Food portions were small for the price. Pork was very dry, the mushroom polenta was very disappointing. Spaghetti & Meatballs had a good flavor, but portion was very small and husband was hungry again 2 hours later. Service was very slow, despite very few parties dining. Very cute area, but wouldn’t dine here again.

The wait staff wasn't well-trained. They would top off nearly full water glasses, and the waiter asked us "how can we improve?" at the end of the meal. That's just strange and uncomfortable. The food wasn't particularly impressive. The lemon burrata appetizer was a ball of mozzarella and some cherry tomatoes on a plate. The main dishes were average. The best part of the restaurant was just sitting outside in the shade.

When we arrived, the patio was empty; we were seated at an undesirable table (probably for the convenience of wait staff, not for the view), so we asked to be seated at a better table along the planter bed.

As for food and wine, both were good although not “out of this world”. We enjoyed the fresh bread with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and crumbled cheese for dipping. The rib eye steak was good, although 20% was fat; the pork tenderloin was a better choice. We enjoyed a nice bottle of corvina wine from Italy. I was impressed by the wide variety of wines ranging from $40 to $650+; although the list is relatively short, there’s something for every budget and taste. Great job!

Finally, as for service, it was as a little chaotic. Our charming and gregarious server said she was new; we understand that everyone has been there in their careers. When the patio started to get full with other diners, chaos unfolded. We heard another server tell guests it was his first night. Curious why two new servers were assigned to the same area, without the benefit of support. Several servers were trying to serve many tables, and confused you had ordered, who had eaten, and who needed their bills.

We went to Cena for our second time to celebrate our anniversary. We love staying at the Chateux, and Cena is a wonderful restaurant. It was not busy, and the waiter was amazing and attentive. The food was delicious and the portions were large enough. I enjoyed eating at Cena both times and we will go back!

The food was bland and unimaginative. They billed my dinner as a "butterflied ribeye". In reality it was two pieces of beef that I would only consider making carne asada out of and very overcooked. The four fingerling potatoes that made up the side of the dish had some unidentifiable but rubbery cheese melted on them long ago. For a meal with a tab of $147 for two people I can nearly guarantee that you will be disappointed.

Never in my lIfe had I ever tasted something completely different. I had assumed nearly all gourmet Italian foods taste somewhat the same. Here at cena, I tasted something new. My taste buds were exploding. The chef is truly an artist when it comes to cooking food.

This MIGHT be a place to take the family and kids to - but they would need to drop their prices a bit . in all fairness we went there between seasons....maybe the normal chef was on vacation? I don’t normally review but the food was pretty horrible and somehow it had good reviews on Yelp. Wouldn’t go there for a special occasion and I would definitely do more research next time. They either to need to step it up considerably or drop their prices in line with Olive Garden....

Food was excellent. Hardly anyone there but service was incredibly slow - no idea why. We arrived 15 early and they would not seat us despite the restaurant being very empty.

We dine at Cena on each of our 2 annual trips to Deer Valley. The food is consistently very good,
with fair portions and reasonable prices. The fried clams are always exceptional. The pasta
and seafood are also very good.

From the moment we arrive, I could tell this was not the experience we had hoped for. I booked the reservation a week in advance of our arrival and when we arrived( which was about 10 minutes early) we were told to have a seat and we would be called when our table was ready. We waited 10 minutes beyond our reservation time only to find that when we were seated there were open tables available. The other major disappointment was that my husband and I split a salad and a pizza since they told it was large enough for two. The salad arrived with the other entrees and the pizza arrived well after the others in our party had finished. This put a very negative feeling on the entire dining experience.

The food was good but nothing exceptional. With this experience I would not recommend Cena unless they decide to up their game. I realize the week is a busy time for the area and should not be the reason for providing below average experience.

We tried Cena as it was opened only a year ago and we didn't get there last year while in Park City. The food was incredible...you must try the mushroom soup...delicious!! Our servers were knowledgeable and very nice, but the service was slow and it wasn't very crowded the night we went. I hesitate to see how the kitchen reacts to a crowded night. I would go there again.

We had the sweetest server named Nancy who couldn’t do enough for us. My friend and I are vegetarians and we found plenty of delicious choices. Our favorite! The plentiful side of Brussels sprouts with pancetta - delicious!

Appetizers were okay. Veal was like cutting through a rock. Server did not speak very good English, barely checked in on us, left cheese, olive oil and red peppers with no utensils to use them. Very odd.

Overall, the food was good. I had grilled branzino, and it was prepared simply with olive oil, which is how I like it. The roasted carrots had a burnt taste to them that I didn't like. My 12 year-old son had the chicken parm, which he said was very good. He could have used a larger portion. My 12-year-old daughter had the flatbread pizza, and she didn't seem to enjoy the crust and left a lot on her plate. Overall, it is a relatively good restaurant if you're staying in Deer Valley. There is underground parking, so it's very convenient.

We were very disappointed in the service. Slow, inattentive and uncoordinated. We had a very hard time getting our waiter to even come by the table. Our reservation was for 7:15, but we weren't seated until 7:35. The food was tasty, but rates a "good" because by the time it got to us it was cool. It was busy when we got there but by the time we left (right after finishing our entrees) the place was empty. Not sure what went wrong, but we won't be back.

The food here was delicious! My husband and I were especially surprised with the steak. The service was a bit on the slow side and we had to ask our server for our card back twice.

We were seated after waiting 25 minutes with 3/4 of the restaurant empty. Service was SLOW and food was undercooked. Probably the worst chicken Parmesan I've ever had. Would not recommend this place.
