Superb!! A friend of mine took me for my birthday there and I loved it. I took my husband for his first time there and he was blown away. The food, the service, the ambiance…. The food again, it’s unique in South Beach. No other place has what Pao has… we are in love with this place!

Our server was excellent, drinks were good, food was average and that was surprising given the chef is well known. Although maybe he franchised his name. Ambience visually is nice but it is so loud that you have to yell at the person sitting next to you as the night progresses. You cannot speak across the table. It’s a fun place in a stunning hotel- I would just stick with the bar.

Beautiful restaurant, great service! Our server was very attentive and explained everything on the menu. He checked on us several times in between. Highly recommend this restaurant. My daughter and I enjoyed all the foods and the drinks. We can’t wait to go back!

It was a lovely night, food was delightful and service wonderful. We got the tasting courses, $150 each. In the final bill they added some out-of-thin-air expenses, so it came to $450 with zero alcohol consumed. You’re paying extra for the hotel & being on the beach.

Pao certainly lived up to our excitement of returning, delivering excellent and prompt service by Olga and Dina. The food and cocktails were exquisitely presented and delightful, although the prawns were slightly overcooked and the raw oysters disappointingly small. Surprisingly, despite being seated directly in front of the live entertainment, the noise level was manageable this time around. The performance was spectacular, contributing to Pao being one of our top picks in Miami for a chic and romantic evening.

Vlad was our server, and he could’ve not been any more warm, gracious, and helpful. in fact, everyone was so warm and friendly, with great big smiles, you could not help but feel welcome. The food is unusually described, and somewhat confusing, but generally quite delicious and unique. Some of the dishes had very small portions, especially appetizers, which looked tiny. However, the entrées were moderate sized and quite delicious. Try the flan dessert. It’s nothing like I’ve ever tasted before. This is a great place.

Exceptional! Our server Marco was phenomenal. He is well versed in all menu selections as well as any wine or spirit complements. Everytime we visit Miami, we choose to visit Pao, hoping he is still there. He is the reason we keep coming back.

The food was delicious and the service was very good and the room is beautiful BUT the noise volume was deafening. We were at a table of 4 and could not hear the people across the table from us, nor anything that the waiter had to say. We spent the entire evening leaning towards each other to speak. We would have eaten outdoors but there was smoke and the smell of a barbecue that was taking place on the patio beneath the restaurant.

We chose the Miami spice menu and added one additional starter as well. Everything was superb, the only let down was the desserts. We had one of each, the crepe cake, and the tropical fruit and ice cream one. Both were ok, nothing special and I really didn’t like the crepe one. It was too doughy.

Absolutely incredible meal (as always) with impeccable service, and a great crowd/overall vibe. Highly recommend the unicorn (both drink and dish!), the kinilaw, the fried chicken and the whole fish preparation. If the korabuta pork comes back on menu, that is a must too. Highlight of the meal was 1000% meeting chef qui!

We went for Miami Spice- the art in the hotel lobby is stunning. Pao has elevated Asian comfort food- all of the umami was there and worth the $$$. The only critiques- the shaved ice in the flan dessert tasted like a fridge (kinda hard to escape that) but otherwise that dessert was amazing, and the utensils… the fork was either oddly shaped or not weighted well to manipulate it properly. All in all, wonderful place! The service was best in class.

If you are looking for amazing Asian influences food please go. The staff is unforgettable also ready to address any issue. The food selection demands carefully reading the menu and exploring the many options. Whagu short ribs are simply amazing.
