Switch Restaurant & Wine Bar
Friday: 11:00 am-11:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am-11:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am-10:00 pm
I had such a wonderful time at switch with friends and family even my two toddlers (2&5) for my birthday! I had the blackberry mojito which was amazing and a bottle of their champagne (also amazing). There was about 12 of us and no one had to wait long for anything. Our server was aaaamazing so wonderful!! I’ll definitely be back!
Great local spot. Food was excellent like usual. It's neighbor is more famous, but I think the food is better.
Great place to eat and relax.
Excellent French Toast and carafe of cranberry mimosas. 👌
More of a wine bar type place, food was ok but nothing great poor combination of ingredients maybe just not my cup of tea but slow for Friday night at 7pm so not great and understaffed but we’re trying there best food lack flavor but overall had the best of intentions and food prepared well
We walked in and the restaurant was about a third full. We waited with 2 other couples for about 10 min with no attention. Finally some one said they were short staffed and they’d be with us shortly. They could have sat us at one of the many open tables and offered us a drink until someone could take our order but they didn’t seem interested in making us feel welcome. We sat at the bar, ordered a drink and waited .... we ended up leaving and walked in (without a reservation) into Durant’s next door and had an excellent meal with excellent service.
All their food items have creative twists that makes their food sand out. Catfish sand and meatloaf sand are outstanding. The twisted fries are bites of heaven! Don’t miss the Mexican Street corn-beautiful and delicious. And......they speak gluten free! Exceptional house red wine!
Noise level is awful! Cannot have a conversation. Do not dine there at peak times.
The food was amazing
We had the meatloaf
The chicken bites
The pretzel bites
Sammie apricot bbq feta
Mac n cheese
Every single plate was delicious!
I went there for a business meeting and the staff were fantastic. They were there when needed and didn't mind us staying for several hours. Food was perfect!
I always enjoy meeting friends and colleagues at switch.
Shrimp and grits excellent 👍
A friend and I ate at the bar. We split a fabulous watermelon salad - too big for one. I had the buttermilk fried chicken, which was to die for (I'm still alive, really.) Great neighborhood spot. Great wines. I wanted beer, which they have, though - oddly nowadays - not on draft.
The food was phenomenal but it isn’t a wine bar. However, the food is so good, it doesn’t matter. I will go back. If they have some good wine, then even better.
The waiter was cool and the food was delicious
Did not like the menu for restaurant week. Ordered hamburgers which were good but over cooked. Friend ordered tacos from appetizer menu and she said they were just ok.
Excellent Food. Very Friendly Staff. Would Highly Recommend To Others.
We drove from Northeast Scottsdale/Phoenix to try this place and would definitely go again. The food was wonderful. The Meatloaf was out of this world as were the sides I had - Greens and the Corn. My husband had the Chicken Pot Pie which had a puff crust on top. It was above average but not as special as the Meatloaf. All the dinners we saw come out look great. Servings were large - we took a lot home. We tried the Blueberry Bread Pudding - awesome! Even sharing, we took enough home to split it again.
Service was great and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The patio is enclosed on both sides by the building and would be very nice when the temperature is lower.
We'll definitely be back!
Food was very good. Special of fish and chips excellent. Very Berry turkey sandwich is real sliced turkey breast with strawberry and a nice aioli
There were 6 of us at Switch for my husband's birthday dinner and we all were pleased with our food and service.
Amazing food!! The Chef was polite, knowledgeable, and gave my wife and I a free desert! Highly recommend for a date!
Friendly staff, great happy hour menu and drink specials. Very nice presentation for very tasty food. I would love to try their brunch, it looks great.
We had a wonderful time. Service eas very timely and courteous.
Fresh, tasty, and great customer service. Good for business and casual eats. Always a solid choice.
Tried the Brunch menu with carafes of bloody marys and screwdrivers. Started out by trying the soft pretzels, very good. Galette with eggs and sausage was delicious, buttery and deceptively large. Partner had the eggs benedict and was very pleased. The carafes were delicious, but in the future we will split one...or not. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Service was very friendly and attentive.
The fried green tomatoes are the best I have ever tasted. I have dined there many times and am always surprised in the complexity of the flavors.
Switch was just the right place for a causal date night. The service was impeccable and friendly. The music is low enough that to can have a quiet conversation with your partner. We're definitely going back and recommending the restaurant.
The Mimosa was delicious and a carafe was half-priced during brunch. I had the crustless turkey quiche and wished now I had taken a picture to post in my review. The turkey quiche was a square serving about inches tall with asparagus topped with a slice of fresh tomato and shaved parmesan on a bed of home fry pototoes in béchamel sauce. It was my first time at Switch and invited 2 friends who also thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, food and relaxed atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and attentive.
great food. great service. great ambiance. drinks are strong. it's perfect!
Great, engaging service. Food was wonderful. Born and raised in the south and I can honestly say Switch’s collard greens are some of the BEST that I have ever had - sorry mom!
Great ambiance, service and food.
Came here for my boss's birthday. We had good service and the food was good, but perhaps a little over-priced.
Wanted a nice lunch to celebrate our anniversary so we decided to search Open Table for a restaurant near downtown. I found several that looked intriguing and decided on Switch because of the reviews and the menu looked like it had some interesting choices. When we arrived for our 1:30 reservation it took several minutes before we were acknowledged. We were seated and given a brunch menu that was really a breakfast menu. We were very disappointed and decided to leave. As we were leaving we advised the hostess that we were disappointed that the regular menu was not available on Sundays. She quickly advised that the full menu was available and we could order from it so we decided to stay. Would have been nice if we were originally offered the regular menu upon seating.
I ordered the Fried green tomatoes, which was what really caught my eye when searching for a place. They were awful. A thin slice of tomato buried in a thick pancake coating of cornmeal that had no seasoning. All you could taste was cornmeal grit and when you tried to remove it to get some tomato flavor, the small amount of tomato was just mush. They were accompanied by a corn salsa and aioli that did have a nice flavor.
My husband ordered the chicken pot pie, which was a layer of mashed potatoes covered with chicken pot pie filling and topped with puff pastry. Interesting take on traditional pot pie, but too much mashed potato and just so-so. I ordered the Po Boy with blackened fish accompanied by Mac & cheese as the side. You couldn’t eat the Po Boy with your hands as it just fell apart. Too much tartar sauce and a little over seasoned, which is strange for me to say as it’s usually the opposite when I order something like this.
All in all, we found Switch to be mediocre and would not go out of our way to return.
As always, Switch delivered great food and atmosphere. It was fun introducing others to Switch, and I know they will be back! The cocktails and food were spot on! I never think I can finish the generous portion of food, but it's so delicious, I keep eating!
Switch was home to our Fri-date, and we had two excellent meals. The plates have a lot of food. Next time we will share the main course and add an appetizer to our order.
Great place before or after a visit to Phoenix Art Museum or a play/musical at Phoenix Theatre.
Met family in town visiting & had a lovely meal. We were not rushed. The food was great! Love this place- would go back again.
First time and won’t be our last...love this place!
Awesome food. Poached eggs came out boiled but quick fix.... Food took over 1.5 hours and then we stopped seeing the waitress but the mimosa was awesome.
I love taking my girlfriend to Switch -- it's her "take-me-to" place for a burger and a glass of wine. Switch attracts a lot of people who live in this area of Phoenix. Nicole's service was excellent, and my girlfriend and I enjoyed meeting Katey (my apologies if I misspelled either of these two names). I look forward to our next date at Switch.
