The staff were very friendly. The food didn’t look as good as their website. The pacing of the courses was way off. The music was very loud. Almost club like. This restaurant is called Fine Palate. Sorry, I would not go back.
Food was great. Service was worst I have experienced. If you want to try it, be sure to be seated downstairs.
Despite the great location and very friendly servers, the food was disappointing for the most part.
Been to this place a few times and have always had great meal. The servers are friendly need a little polish but all around good. Food always creative and fun. Love the decor and the bar. This has become our go to dinner when we have tickets for the Kimmel Center.
All around great hit. Sat at the bar first and The cocktails where spot on, the bartender had a lot of personality. Then we moved to the dining room, and had a very energetic server. She knew the menu very well. Our food was perfect had a bunch of small plates. Great salt and pepper squid, Burrata was amazing,
Shrimp Dijon was awsome. The buffalo tartare was a hit.
We also splurged for the Agno with white truffles and it was one of the best pasta dishes we ever had. Will be back
Had a wonderful dinner. The ribeye was best steak ever. The buffalo tartare was amazing. Service was friendly. Food was great atmosphere was cool. They could use a better dessert menu but overall one of the best places we have been too
Food was delicious, service was spotty but the whole evening was ruined when the waiter flashed the price of dinner on an iPad.
It made them uncomfortable, it made me uncomfortable. Ruined the entire night for me.
I rarely write bad reviews but between this and the constantly elevating music, it was a bust.
(Also menu is very, very seafood centric.)
It is with a sense of sorrow we rated Fine Palete so low. This was our 4th time we had been to Fine Palate since it opened, previously rating all 4s & 5s. The visits were superb and we were really looking forward to another enjoyable experience. But this was not the case.
The music was loud, intrusive and more appropriate for a bar than a restaurant.
The menu seemed to be similar in size, but much less eclectic and not particularly interesting.
We had the fried eggplant beggars purses appetizer. We thought they were over cooked, dry and did not taste like eggplant. We left 2 of the 6 due to lack of taste, enjoyment. Had we been asked, we would have mentioned this, but no one asked.
I had Branzino after asking if it could be filleted, as I am not skillful at this. The waiter said “Of course I will do it table-side.” While he put on quite a show, theatrically stretching out his arms several times, he only removed the backbone, leaving 15 - 20 small and a few medium bones. The waiter’s dismissive response was “Well there will always be 1 or 2 bones” and left before I could clarify.
My wife had a “whole” cauliflower prepared with mushrooms. It was listed with other “large” dishes for $13. The serving was quite small, no where near a whole cauliflower and in our opinion it was more a large appetizer than an entree.
When we paid the bill, a different women asked us how everything was. We said we were frankly disappointed. Mentioned this was our 4th time and the meal was not at same level as previously. I specifically mentioned the appetizer and the fish bones. She simply said “l am sorry” and left. No clarifying questions and no apparent interest.
Just to be clear, we did NOT ask nor expect a refund. We were giving honest feedback.
We have enjoyed Fine Palete previously and we will probably try again, though with trepidation. Hoping this one of those “one off” experiences and will not be repeated.
Great meal. The “ Real”truffle Mac and cheese was perfect start.
Had the kurubuta pork moist flavorful. Looking forward to your black and white truffle dinner.
Overall great spot. Food , decor, service.
Love the ribeye, the squid, and buffalo. This is truly an unturned stone.
Great menu. Great paella. Best ribeye I ever tasted. Only regret is wish we found this place sooner.
The restaurant vibe is charming even though the music was a bit loud (they did turn it down when asked). The food was wonderful especially the shrimp Dijon. Perfect wine accompaniment. Our server, Priscilla really made the experience memorable. (Thank you!) Will definitely return.
Food was great, had a wonderful experience from our server. She was bubbly friendly and relaxing. Had a fantastic old fashion. The paella and the shrimp was perfect. The aged pork chop was delicious.
What an amazing dinner! Our server Kellen was so knowledgeable about the menus and friendly. We had the spaghetti squash and the chef added fresh WHITE TRUFFLES!!!! It was out of this world
Brunch with friends turned into an all day party. The food was great, love the omelette with truffles, the eggs Bennie was classic and done right. The mimosas were perfect for drinking all day fun day. Will def be back
Paella was amazing. One of the best I have had in years.
Salt and pepper squid was creative and unique. A great experience overall.
Hit or miss with the food. Cocktails were terrible.
Great food great service sexy spot
Had great dinner creative food. Attentive service
Menu was strange and incoherent. Food was mostly good—homemade burrata and pork belly were both memorable—but there were some misses as well—artichoke fritters for example. Service was friendly and generally quite good.
Couldn’t get over the atmosphere, which felt like an early-2000s euro-type cocktail bar into which someone was compelled to put a few tables.
Cool spot. Classy with out the pretentiousness yet casual. Laid back approachable friendly staff. Great food. The owners are friendly and hospitable. This is not the average stuffy restaurant. This is the upscale Cheers.
The food was very good, but the restaurant did not have a lot that was on the menu. Regular food items, wine and even dessert. This was a Saturday night. The wait staff would come to our table, several times, to ask if everything was okay and if we needed anything between courses. I think they should take note if we had our food, before approaching the table.
Food was good but expensive for fare. Service was poor! Attention to detail not good and short staffed or so it seemed. Ambiance ok. Staff too scattered and did not seem to know what they were doing. Needs improvement! Food best part of experience!
We felt rushed. We got there for 530 and were attending an 8 pm show. The staff repeatedly rushed us without need. They rushed us from enjoying a cocktail at the bar to the table. Then rushed us with our food choices.
Love this place! Cocktails were awesome and the food was so perfect. My reservation was at 7 and moved it to 6 and they accommodated me and had us out by 7:15 for our show. Will be back!
In from out of town for convention. Had a Fantastic experience. The energy was alive. Had the 40oz 40 day dry aged Ribeye. Holy S@&$ was it awesome. The Bronzino was banging and the pasta. The restaurant is cool sexy The server was cool knew what we wanted. Gonna come back before the conference is over.
Fun brunch, the ribeye was best breakfast steak and eggs ever had. The eggs in hell was creative and the pork belly was tender and crackling with perfect kimchi. A must for brunch. Server was friendly and sweet. $5 Bloody marys how can you go wrong.
Love this place! Can’t recommend enough. The chef cooked for us off the menu and made us buffalo filet.
Love this place! Stopped by for a quick bite and drink before Hamilton. What a great cute place! Service was very friendly and great cocktails. I recommend the Cocktail selection which was very diverse. Will be back!
Not good at writing reviews. This is a great all around place. The music was cool the food was different and tasty, the service was friendly. The cocktails were bangin. Seems like a great place for a party.
Fell in love with this place! Was meeting a co worker for some drinks before getting the patco The bartender was great and made us some great cocktails
Great food great service. Had tickets for academy house. Was perfect pre theater dining.
It was restaurant week on a Wednesday night, first two courses were good, the second two were horrible. Waiter was very nice, but not attentive (more because he was servicing all the tables in the place. Not crowded, but busy enough). We both barely touched two rounds of courses (were bad) and while he noticed, he did not offer something to remedy it (like a drink or something). This was our first time to Fine Palate and it will be our last. Wish could report otherwise.
Came for restaurant week. What a deal! The spaghetti squash was amazing and the pork shank was to die for. I had Royce the choice as a drink and it was the best cocktail I ever had. We will be back can’t recommend this place enough
Went for restaurant week. Impressive menu, 4 nice size courses. Food was flavorful, creative and the serves was great. A must for restaurant week
Perfect romantic date night spot! Great food and drinks. Service is very friendly
The wait staff was inexperienced and confused about the menu, putting in a restaurant week order to the kitchen without showing us the menu, menus were outdated and food quality was fair. The bar area is nice but upstairs is very plain, lacking in atmosphere. Wine list is limited and has printed errors about which they don't advise the guest yet don't bother to reprint. They also served a full bodied red wine (Malbec) chilled like a white. Several menu items we were interested to try were not available so we ordered two small plates, going 1 for 2 on food and decided to limit our losses and exit, returning to a nearby favorite that did not disappoint.
The food was ok
Vegan week was great menu. With black truffles added. The server was great the atmosphere was electric. Had a great time. We have season tickets for opera and this is perfect for our pre dinners.
There was a fly in my drink and a hair in my wife’s food. These are inexcusable errors and no one apologized. I was offered a free drink which didn’t come for 30 minutes and came after dessert. Very poor.
Tables were way too close and the food was just ok. The service was good though.
