Pleased to say I had a much better experience at Crave Fishbar than last time. Service was excellent as server and others collaborated to provide excellent 5 star service. Loved the baked clams ; would love to see them on the regular menu.

Four of us went for dinner at Crave. Sat in table area. It was moderately crowded but very load due to low ceiling and nothing around to absorb sound. Enjoyed the lovely Sancerre on the wine list. We tried the salmon sashimi app. Fish good but the small corn tortilla it was on overwhelmed the flavor of the fish. Two guests had the barramundi entree and really enjoyed it. Another guess had the stripped bass. He said it was good but they put the wrong sauce on it. I had the naked seared tuna. It was spectacular and the red curry sauce I requested on the side was great as well. We got the roasted cauliflower. It was ok but undercooked. Our servers were nice was just so so. Had to keep calling him over to get water refills and he forgot the cauliflower. It came once we reminded him.

I go to Crave frequently. I was very disappointed with the service today. I arrived at 4pm and spent an inordinate amount of time trying to catch the eye of my server.

Crave Fishbar s is a most welcome addition and now my go to place for dining on the UWS especially when craving raw Oysters. Its got the best selection and the best prices for Oysters especially during happy hour. The Oyster selections are curated by an extremely knowledgeable and friendly Oyster Sommelier (didn't even know there was such a thing). Anyone looking for Oysters should ask the Sommelier for his recommendations. In addition to Oysters, the happy hour menu and full menu offer up a variety of great food, and the wait staff are efficient and very friendly. I also appreciate Crave Fishbar's stated support of Oyster restoration projects such as NYC's Billion Oyster project. Although I've sometimes made reservations for a table, I've also had a good time and met some interesting people by just stopping in and slurping oysters at the Bar.

We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was a great time. Food was great, drinks were so amazing. We will definitely be back. Thank you Joe (or John) for being a great waiter!
