Everything was great. It was just weird that they had this policy of not accepting $100 bills that were “old”. These were the ones with the large portraits of Ben Franklin, but they were not “new enough” according to the server. As far as we were concerned legal US currency is still legal US currency regardless of when they were issued. (And we’re talking maybe a couple years old? Like I said they were still the newer ones with the large Ben Franklin portraits). Anyway, the bill was sorted out (we had 3 couples paying into the total bill). Food was great. Service was great - just that last hiccup to end our night.

The service was great but the food quantity was beyond small.. A full 4 course prefix menu it was crazy. 1st course was the largest with it being a salad and bread. 2nd course, 2 sticks with 1 beef cube each and for her 2 single shrimp. 3rd course we though would be big considering it was a steak but nope like 3/4 of my hand. Then to top it off 2 straw berries for desert. $455 btw

This restaurant is a favorite or ours and is always easy to book. Love the food and service and it’s always quiet if that’s what you want. Why don’t more people go here?

Our food was served so late after a 6:30pm reservation that we were ready to leave and go somewhere else, but it was a birthday celebration so we stayed. Big mistake. We won’t be returning after a $1,100 bill.

They ran out of the main dishes while serving a fixed menu, no lobster was available, the drinks we wanted were not available. Sat for 90 minutes before being served our first drink. 2 hours before our first plate of food. The house comped our drinks, however we were charged full price for the food regardless of the wait or the fact that what we ordered was not in stock (fixed menu, no reason it should not have been stocked)

I think they were over booked. It took 15 minutes after our reservation to be seated and then another 20 minutes before our order was taken. Then they ran out of the entree dish that I ordered. So a bit underwhelming.
