Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu, attentive and friendly, food was very good and served timely, and the chocolate pecan pie was scrumptious. Definitely will be back.

The dressing was dry and could use some improvement, the cranberry was excellent, since there was no inclusion of pumpkin pie or drinks, the price needed to be adjusted. We still left a very good tip for our excellent waitress and the staff was very good

Our first trip to Babin's, and it won't be our last. The hostess let us have a quiet booth off to the side which was perfect! The drinks were great! I had the N’AWLINS Punch which was delicious. Packed a punch just like the in New Orleans, so go slowly...if you can. The food was yummy, and the chef even let me make a modification to my order. Add our server, Vanessa's, superior service to the mix, and it made the whole experience outstanding! Can't wait to go back!

Our server was excellent, I always just a few things but one simple thing for me…I drink a lot of tea….fairly quickly. The server never let me go empty, maybe once for like 2 minutes and we had a 10-top with 3 children.

The food is great and fresh. If you are looking for spicy Cajun, this is not the place for you as food is prepared on the milder side. It is more Cajun fusion restaurant. All of our dishes needed seasoning (including salt), but tasted good and fresh. We ordered fried Green tomatoes, and was surprised not to get a remoulde sauce. They supplied a marinara sauce which is not traditional Cajun. Overall, we will return, and left satisfied.

We dined here during Houston Restaurant Week. The food was enjoyable, not what I remember from living/working in New Orleans, but still good. Our waitress was great. We ordered shrimp gumbo, catfish Atchafalaya and cajun chicken pasta.

The dining experience is normally a good one when greeted and served with smiling hostesses and waiters. Such was the case tonight. The Mahi Mahi topped with lobster was outstanding. Service was prompt and very courteous.

Babin's is one of favorite restaurants to visit, we love their seafood variety and the food is excellent and reasonable prices. WE vist Babi's once or twice a month. Highly recommend it. I have used Open Table several times to make reservations and it never has let me down. Highly recomend them too.

They were very nice and very accommodating! Whatever we asked they did without complaint. We had asked for seating for 9. When we arrived they had two long tables set up and ready to go. My daughter saw round tables for 8 and asked about them. The hostess volunteered that that might work very well with our group. It took just a minute and it was set up ready for us. She was right! It was so nice being able to talk and hear everyone at the table. Major kudos for our lovely hostess! The food was great and our two birthday celebrants had a blast!! Thank Babin’s, we will be back.

Babin’s is usually our go to place for fresh fish. This experience was not the norm. We ordered Golden Tile blackened and it came out over cooked, with a burnt crispy top. This is our go to order so we know how it’s supposed to be cooked. The dirty rice was also over cooked, and it was almost as if it was scraped out of the corners of the pan. The rice was super dry and crunchy. Our server was excellent, and the drinks and appetizers were good. After reading some other reviews, it seems like this location has been having issues. Still love Babin’s and will try again.

The food came out quick and the appetizers were pretty good. One issue with the apps was the bacon wrapped shrimp. The bacon wasn't properly cooked - fat still white and not edible. Disappointing. We swatted gnats away the entire time we were eating. Everyone said their food was good and the portion size was good. Why are the Pina Coladas made with ice cream? I haven't been to Babin's in years, but the PC was my favorite. It wasn't made with ice cream before...I can't eat ice cream. Bummer!

We had a group of six, with multiple ages and various degrees of finicky eaters for Easter Lunch at Babin's. The food and the service were very good. We had reservations and were seated right away. Our server was attentive and even though the restaurant was pretty full we were never neglected. If I had to list a negative, I would say the restaurant was pretty loud, however, it was full so it may be different on a slower day/night. We had such a positive experience we can't wait to return.
