The food was amazing. I didn't love any of the sauces but I think that was more of a personal preference. Drinks were really good. All in all, 2 meals and 2 cocktails came to around 80 dollars so not a "quick cheap" place by any means but definitely good for a once in a while type thing.

Lillie's is my go-to BBQ. It is always solid. The wings and fried pickles are the best around. The tri-tip and pulled pork never disappoint, and they have a variety of sauces to choose from.

We went for a Father's Day celebration and it was perfect. The food is outstanding and service equally good. We loved our food and recommend the barbecue to foodies and anyone who likes a creative approach to an old standard. Pulled pork was delectable as was the chicken and all of the sides. Favorite was cornbread! Salad refreshing and beautifully composed. Will return when in Chicago.

Incredible food. Everything is great. I will say they only had 1 high chair in the entire restaurant which was slightly disappointing. May want to check with them before bringing a young child.

Pork rinds, Memphis Tacos, Tri Tip, Ribs ,Chicken and Pulled pork were all outstanding. Greens and baked beans sides supreme. Meal was impeccably serviced by Carlos- friendly, knowledgeable and patient. We brought guests from Memphis and they were suitably impressed and very satisfied with very aspect of our dinner. Lillie's Q comes through once again!

1st off...they have one highchair in the entire restaurant. No booster seats. Perfect for Mother's Day reservation. The appetizers were great however our server apparently forgot about our food while she was bartending? and only had our food come out when my husband asked where it was. Which came out all cold, no surprise there. The food was tasty for cold food but none of us which came out all cold, no surprise there. Terrible service.

I love their bbq sauces! The meat was prepared just right. The fried pickles were perfect- hot but still a great crispy snap. The only letdown was the margarita - flavor was just ok. It was very small but cost $11.

My boss is a BBQ connoisseur and had Lillie Q's on his list of "must try" restaurants. It didn't disappoint for great BBQ and according to my husband the "best mac and cheese ever." They offer a variety of sauces at each table so you can try one or all of them (note that you can buy their Smoky Sauce at Mariano's). We also enjoyed the craft beers and ambiance. Overall, a great experience!!

Food is good, but nothing that stands out of you're big on BBQ. Similar to most bbq places, the sauces generally steal the show. The pulled pork was average, the ribs were good (they had a good rub to them), and the chicken wings were fantastic. However, I didn't love the upcharges on top of the already high price tag. Pricing is steep for bbq, but its in the city so there isn't much else to say. We spent $75 on two drinks and we split a meal for context. One thing to note is i spilled half my drink and they replaced for free. That was a kind gesture and it made me feel good about their customer experience. Overall, its a pretty good place to eat. I'd go back.

really enjoyed our dinner. it didn't start out too well bc they were out of chicken which I really wanted to try. so I ordered shrimp and grits and they were out of grits, but the shrimp were delicious in just the right amount of creole sauce. then they comped us for the shrimp - even better. service was maybe a little slow, but it wasn't a problem. drinks were good. my husband loved his ribs and the mac and cheese was beyond amazing! will definitely go back when my son is in town. he lives in Austin and thinks that BBQ outside of Texas is just so-so!!!

This was our second time to Lillie's Q, and we made early dinner reservations because we were meeting friends with our toddler. Given how family-friendly the Wicker Park area is, imagine my surprise when the hostess told us they only have 1 high chair for the entire restaurant ... and it was in use and not going to be freed soon. No booster seats either. So, we had to eat our meal with our 2-year-old on our laps the whole time, which is obviously less than ideal. If we weren't meeting others, I would've left and gone elsewhere. They were out of smoked chicken early on a Saturday, which eliminated quite a few items from the menu. So, overall, the experience was okay, but not great.

Everything about our experience at Lillie Q's was great. The food was so tasty and the service was great, attentive enough without be intrusive. We had a group of 8 from age 4 to 48 and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Decent BBQ. Great sauces. Corn bread not very good. Ribs were tasty but not very tender. Collard greens were very good. Appetizers were good,and we shared the wings and hush puppies which were good. Not a great meal but a decent meal.

Trip tip is very lean and tender and brisket is normally available only on Tuesdays but they had it on this particular Saturday night which was also good. Tacos were meaty and tasty. Recommend sweet potato fries and Mac and cheese for sides. We really enjoyed the sauces- especially the Carolina. Parking can be difficult- street parking so give yourself ample time if you're driving to find a space and walk.

Great American BBQ joint. They have 6 assorted sauces for use for dipping. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and moist, definitely recommend getting some. Friendly staff with a comfortable atmosphere.

Hadn't been in a while and was really excited to have some tri tip. They were out, at 6p on a Saturday night. Not sure why but needless to say I was disappointed, it won't deter me from going again however I'll definitely call ahead next time to make sure there aren't any shortages of my favorites.
