Always creative and amazing tasting options
Overall it was pretty good; ok. I had wanted to try this place for a while, so I may have hyped it up in my head, and it ended up disappointing a little bit. The spicy beef gyoza were amazing, and so were the crab bao buns. But then again, I don't think I have ever had a bao bun in my life that wasn't good. I ordered something called Veil Brains which not only didn't quite meet the description (in my mind) but it was absolutely nauseating. The ramen was good, but there were SO little noodles in my bowl that the $18 cost seemed highly unreasonable. I mean, do you have any idea how much ramen I can buy with $18 at the grocery store?? I was left unsatisfied. The rest---ambiance, service, and the sushi items we ordered from next door were all great.
Soft shell crab hand roll was superb. Waiters recommendations were amazing.
Soft shell crab bao & wagyu beef tartare roll were unique and amazing! Service was fast and friendly.
This place was delicious!!! I had the corn soup angelotti and it was a revelation! This place had been listed on few recommended for vegetarians lists, however, it did not have many actual vegetarian options for my partner. But meatlovers rejoice, because the meat options are perfect!!
After viewing so many reviews, I decided to give this spot a try. However it fell short of any wow factors. The food was not good, we tried about 4 different dishes, from noodles, to sushi, to rolls and it was disappointing. The service was slow even on a slow night. Would I come back, NO.
We went with a large group of 7 at 8 PM on a Friday and it was about half full. So I expected the service to be on point. While he knew his menu very well and was great to talk to, I feel like we weren't attended to enough. However, the food was very tasty. We had a variety of items from the ramen, baos, sushi rolls, robata items. All were executed well and had great flavor. I recommend this place since you have the ability to order from PB Sushi as well. It's a nice location on the beach and seemed to have street parking.
A wonderful twist on traditional Asian food. We ordered a variety of dishes (sushi, ramen, dim sum) and were blown away by each one. Highly recommend the truffles corn and short rib dumplings.
We keep going back to Pubbelly because it’s that good. Never disappointed & every new dish is better than the last. Thanks for the meals
Miami Spice menu was fulfilling. Plenty of variety in menu. Ambiance was excellent. Service was great. I will come back for sure.
Excellent food and service! We tried their Miami Spice menu. Everything we had were so good! Love the pork belly bao and the pudding dessert is to die for!! We will be back for sure!
The food has very interesting flavors blending Japanese, Italian, and Latin America styles.
Went for the Miami Spice 2018 dinne menur. Loved all 9 courses of the meal with many outstanding ones, including dessert. Filling but not overwhelming. Our waiter (Roni) was very attentive and outstanding at describing each one of the dishes as they came out. We sat indoors and -while music was great- it was perhaps a bit loud to carry on a conversation. Still, a neighborhood gem we highly recommend.
We went for Miami Spice and were initially sat at the Pubbelly Sushi space next door but had that corrected once we placed our order. The food is unique and more Asian fusion than anything a purist might be looking for, but fits the bill. Prices are on the higher side and there was a bit of an up-sell on sake. But, all in all, I'd return as they really know how to mix traditional and non-traditional flavors.
Great food, great service.
Everything was great! Great food, great wine, great company! 👍😀
Great food! Follow server's recommendations. They never go wrong.
Staff and service was great. Very attentive! Small portions added up quick. I enjoyed the rabbit pasta, but the meat could have been anything. The Pubbelly Ramen had plenty of large pork belly pieces that made up for the boring broth and small amount of ramen noodles.
The shortrib gyoza were outstanding! But small...
Overall, very nice.
We came to Miami for a Wynewood cycle bar tour and a Duck boat tour . Our tour guide from Duck boat highly recommended Pubbelly and the Miami spice menu. This place was phenomenal! It was so different. We are from Alabama and Mississippi and this was our #1 favorite thing we did while in Miami! Just go people! You will love it! Ask for Vanessa! She is beautiful and fun!
Food was great as we went for Miami Spice. We were a little thrown off when we found out we had to choose for the whole table. The only complaint I have is who thought it was a good idea to serve ramen family style? That, in itself should earn them a no star.
Excellent food! We had a wonderful experience at Pubbelly Noodle Var and will definitely return!
Great tasting menu!! Service was fantastic!!!
Food was on point, as usual! Duck & foie dumpling was the best bite of food I’ve had in a long time
We knew we HAD to try Pubbelly, and we weren't wrong! While the menu looked so amazing, it was the fun drinks in the ceramic kitties that called to us! Those drinks were delicious...but the food was even better! We shared a plethora of tasty treats, from Bao buns, to dumplings, gyoza, sushi and ramen...but the star of the night (aside from the delicious bevies in delightfully fun ceramic containers) was the dessert. It might have been the best thing I've ever tasted...it was simply that good. Tempura chocolate dumpling thingies served with a dolce de leche and black sesame ice cream...a must eat. Definitely a place to check out!
Really great!! Chad is great, great service. The food is delicious and tasty.
The food was good but it doesn’t deserve the price, we found it very expensive for the size of the dishes!
the place was great, worth our time. I'm a a foodie big on spicy food and this place had more than just a couple of spicy options. Give them a try!
The food is amazing, we had the grilled octopus which was by far the best I have tried in years, lamb shank and pork belly was amazing!! Service was amazing, I think our waitress name was Valerie who knew everything about the menu, answered all of our questions with a smile
Amazing variety of just delicious food. Great service.
Service was good but definitely lacked the “wow factor” which is why we’ve come to love Pubbelly over the years. Nothing was offered to celebrate our special occasion, be it an extra appetizer, celebratory drink or dessert (I.e. this was our last meal before scheduled c-section as new parents) and was noted in our reservation and to the server. Our waiter became noticeably bothered/short with us when there was an honest mixup on our appetizer request and the value of the meal itself just wasn’t as it’s been in the past. We assumed they still had the a la carte bone marrow and ordered it right away, however, the server assumed we wanted the bone marrow burger (one of their latest menu offerings). Although it looked delicious, we’d already decided on the Omakase chef’s tasting at $65/pp and politely turned it back thinking it might be way too much food and told both servers we were sorry for any trouble/confusion. Our waiter quickly turned his service level down despite being quite friendly initially, which set an awkward tone for the rest of the night and from then on, the majority of our dishes and refills were waited on by other people—leaving us to feel abandoned by our waiter even though there was only 1 other couple in the restaurant; dishes came out delayed and were much smaller than previous chef’s tastings we’d had before with Pubbelly. Typically we always left full and satisfied with the 9-course meal and our servers all world class, however, this time with a “that’s it? I’m ready to get dessert and go home” sentiment. Everything we sampled was delicious as always but again, 8 of the 9 courses were literally bite-sized, hence the overall experience was a disappointment; maybe this was just a subpar experience and we’ll give them another try in the near future. As a concierge within the luxury hotel industry, I’ve naturally come to expect a certain level of guest service and today just wasn’t Pubbelly’s best day.
Great food good service
Pubbelly has amazing food... might be the best on South Beach. My wife and I ordered the tasting menu and it did not disappoint. Everything from veal brains to dumplings to fried rice was extremely good.
We were in Miami and decided to try this place. The food was really good. It was quiet when we dined but the service was great. Our waiter was attentive.
Food was decent, but service was poor and restaurant doesn't serve liquor. Also has the same generic atmosphere as hundreds of other new construction Asian fusion restaurants where millennial girls have birthday dinners.
Would get four stars if it was in an airport or Cincinnati, but diners in Miami can do much better.
WOW! Food was delicious and our waiter was so attentive!!! Definitely will return :)
Food reco: The ceviche with tostones , Rock shrimp tempura roll, Octopus, and Spicy Beef Dumplings. Simply Delish
Just love the Place and The food
Mediocre food, nice atmosphere
Fantastic!! We were close by and decided to make a quick reservation and were so pleasantly surprised. The ceviche served with tostones was amazing and the 2 rolls had a different quality to regular sushi rolls. Creative additions that will bring us back over and over. Kudos to Pubbelly for creating such a tasty diversion from the expected.
It was a really pleasant dinner, the service was excellent, the food was original and very very good and prices absolutely not high for the quality. Absolutely recommended.
