   It was alright. Would I go again? Yes. Would I crave for it? Probably not. Brats were good. Red cabbage had too much clove. But overall, it was a fun experience.

   Had Easter brunch with the family. Wonderful Biermosa and shared a selection of wurst-cheddarwurst, Bratwurst, Nurmberger, and Turkey Weisswurst, Currywurst with Frites, and a great Charcuterie board! Delicious!

    after a brief glitch w seating and playing bocce, the host and our server were great at figuring it out and accommodating our party of 8. we had SO much fun! will be back to do it again for sure.

    We had the nicest time. We visited with our son and German exchange student before the Trevor Noah show. Food was great and the boys had fun playing bocce with us. Staff took great care of us and even brought our strudel to the bocce court. We stayed so long we almost were late to the show. So much fun; thank you!

    We were going to a show at the DCPA and thought we would go out to eat before. The reservation process was pretty easy, and we were seated at our reservation time. The wait staff was very attentive, and our order came out platted nicely and looked and smelled wonderful. Funny, but all three of us ordered the pork. The sides are add-on’s. We had red cabbage, German potato salad, and spretzel. It was wonderful. We sat where we could watch the bocce players, and enjoyed that as well. The restaurant itself was rather loud, in my opinion. It was a really nice and tasty dinner. We are already looking for another time to go have dinner there.

    The hosts, and servers were all so friendly, and the bocce ball was a blast! The smorgasbord would have been enough for the 3 of us but we did that AND another shareable, and we were all stuffed to the gills. So, so good.

    Very disappointed in the manager Colleen. I called to reserve a Bocce Court. Person on phone said they would save one for us and upon arrival said we needed to wait until after we finished our meal. Of course, while eating, they gave away the courts and then proceeded to not allow my kids to use them for even a few minutes, in between groups. Scammy and extremely rude. Food was good and our server was decent, but the experience left a bad taste, so I won't be returning. Seems they play favorites and let some people book, but not others. Should have NEVER promised we could use the facilities.

    I think this is a fun place for people to go hang out with their friends, play some bocce, or watch whatever sporting event is happening at the time. We were there for a pre-show meal and did not find the food very exciting. I had the pork schnitzel with braised red cabbage on the side. The cabbage was good, the schnitzel only so-so. My husband had the pork shank with garbanzo beans and a side of spatzle, a huge portion but only fair in the taste department. The noise level was such that it was difficult to converse without repeating ourselves. It's a sports bar and food is secondary.

    The Ryan house was recommended for our anniversary. I might not say that it is not the most romantic place, however a very unique and enjoyable atmosphere it was. The food was fantastic.

    The food was either a hit or miss. The schnitzel, dumplings, and pretzel were great, but the spätzle wasn’t the best. The area we sat in was a little louder than we wanted as we were sat at a high top table instead of a normal one, which is what we booked. The staff was all great, especially our waiter!

    We sat upstairs which was at a lower noise level. Our table was ready upon arrival. Our waiter, Chris, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We had the sausage plates and I was pleased that a vegetarian option was available. Everyone in our party liked their food.

    My family and I had a wonderful meal at Rhein Haus. The food was delicious, the service was great, and their shirts were so hilarious that I ended up buying one for my stepdad; made his day. My company hosted our Halloween party here as well and we had a blast playing bocce ball and the restaurant did an outstanding job making the party a hit. If you want to get an authentic German meal, and experience a fun atmosphere, you can't go wrong with this staple.

    Terrible food over priced for what you get. Main entrees came with no traditional sides. Pay extra for sides with you main dish. Not happy over all. The server was good though.

    This place has gone so down hill. Our waiter was horrible! We were a table of 7. By the time he got to us, he messed up 2 of our drink orders, messed up three of our food orders, and then messed up 2 more of our drinks orders. We had to ask for everything…plates, forks, napkins, water. Not to mention he was incredibly rude the entire time, non apologetic, and uninterested in life. Some food was so over salted it was hard to eat. Their version of mulled wine tasted fermented and like it went bad.

    First time there- Service was fun & personable, drinks & beers were great - food was meh - had the bacon wrapped brat - overcooked or kept too long on warmer - bacon was crusty / dried out, brat wasn't fresh and juicy like I would expect. Food came out very quickly, but that tells me too much was precooked. Not sure if I will go back, too many places with good brats and beers.

    We had the pretzel with cheese and honey mustard, and the pork schnitzel. Both were very disappointing, no flavor and not authentic at all. In a German style brewery I expected a quality, stone-ground mustard, and pork schnitzel with flavor and substance. The only good thing I had there was their German Pilsner. I was really disappointed in the Rhein Haus.

    Rein Haus is a good German restaurant. However, their entrees are limited and don't cover a broad spectrum of German cuisine. Could be because their focus is on sausages. they have good sides including spaetzle and braised red cabbage. However, they don't include creamed spinach. The pork shank entree was very good but the accompanying "dressing" was different than indicated on the menu, being garbanzo beans, not the apple sauce. Also, it was difficult to tell if the shank included gravy. I think there was a very thin coating on top. Restaurant is very loud due to rock/pop music, not conducive to a German atmosphere. Servers were very friendly and prompt. Too bad they don't know any German.

    The food was good. We shared a pretzel and both got the currywurst with frites. Apparently there was one server handling the ENTIRE restaurant. Our water glasses were never refilled and we had to ask the hostess for our check. I won't return during the day. If I go in the evening I pray they have the staff to handle the crowd.

    Great spot! Lotsa fun!! The food is pretty standard American German food, but that’s not what you are here for. There is an extensive draft beer menu and appetizers. The staff is very friendly and attentive - they are just a bit understaffed like everyone else.

    Terrible schnitzel, tough and not pounded thin enough. No sides come with the entree so you have to spend additional $ just to get a small side. Was told we could not play bocce ball because a private group was coming in any minute. 30 minutes later the. court was still empty. Terrible value for the money. Don’t waste your time.
