Tucci's Cucina Italiana - Salt Lake City
Cold, predictable Italian fare. No heartfelt acknowledgment of our special, 90 year birthday occasion—not even a candle. The place seems to be going downhill.
Food took forever to arrive and it was cold. Clearly had been sitting out for at least 20 minutes. We complained and we given two tiny inadequate plates of profiteroles for a table of 9 people as compensation.
We first came to Tucci's a year ago when in town for the doTERRA Convention. Our team loved it so much, we knew we had to return again this year!
I went to Tucci's for Homecoming Night. It was very enjoyable with great service and food.
Best place in slc. Food is fantastic. Everyone is extremely friendly.
Classic Italian cuisine in relaxed comfortable setting.
My two daughters and I came in for a celebration dinner. From appetizers to dessert, the food was delicious! Our hostess/server, M'Kensie was accurate, attentive without being obtrusive, personable, and knowledgeable about the dishes and wine. She's a gem. We'll be back.
The food to longer to serve and I found it fairly bland, which has not been my prior experiences.
This is a family favorite. Higher end experience. Prices are what we would expect. Never disappointed.
The bread was the only good thing. My husband had veal parm. It was cold and looked burnt the worst he ever had.I had the fettuccini alfredo it was average. Would never go back.
We were celebrating a co-worker's retirement and this was the location he selected. They picked a perfect location in the restaurant to make it feel like a private event and accommodated our special needs. The food was great, we got three personal songs which were very beautiful.
Great as always! My must-do every time I'm in SLC.
Birthday!! And they sung to us in Italian :)
Good food at a reasonable price.
Jammer the waiter was awesome! Friendly, knowledgeable. A great rep for Tuccis and Salt Lake City.
The Gnocchi and the chiken picatta were very good. I also liked the lemon drops...fresh lemon made the drink.
Great food and great service!!
Tucci’s is our go-to for special occasions and dates and fun dinners out with friends. The service is always great and the food is amazing.
We enjoyed our food a lot. Service was quick, which was nice, since we had plans for after dinner and were short on time. I would definitely go here again.
My husband and I went here to celebrate our 7th anniversary. The food and service was amazing and very authentic. We had a very good time trying many different menu items. My husband and I are vegetarian and the menu was clearly labeled with which options were vegetarian. I highly recommend their gnocchi! It was so good!
Hadn’t been in quite some time but the food was just kind of eh.
Great food. Decent prices. Fun environment!
Great service and fun atmosphere
Great dining experience!
We scoped out Tucci's as a place to celebrate our sixth anniversary. It did not disappoint! Atmosphere, service, experience were fantastic, and food was absolutely delicious. We had italian cream sodas to drink, the spinach dip for an appetizer, and both ordered pastas for our entrees.
We live about 90 minutes out from SLC but we'll definitely be finding ways to go to Tucci's again!
The service was fantastic, and the food was very good as well. It's a great spot for a date.
Great Italian food with some unique items and in a great location.
My husband and I enjoyed dining here and wondered why we haven’t tried this restaurant before. The atmosphere was pleasant and our waiter was attentive. The food seemed a little old fashioned, but was still good. The bread was outstanding. I ordered the chicken Parmesan, my husband the veal Parmesan. They were served with a side of pasta in a creamy sauce and a side of fresh vegetables. We also ordered soup beforehand. I had the minestrone while my husband tried their new sausage and potato soup. Mine left something to be desired. His was good, but slightly watery. We both ordered a dessert as well. I had tiramisu which was extremely large and rich. It came covered in cocoa powder, which needed scraped off to be edible. My husband had the “apple pie”, his was wonderful. So what I’m trying to say is, this place can be great, but some options are better than others.
You can basically assess the overall quality of an Italian restaurant based on how they make and stage the chicken parmigiana. If they put the sauce on TOP of the chicken, thumbs down. If they put the sauce on the bottom, thumbs up! (So that the chicken patty stays crisp and unaltered). The sliced mozzarella that is supposed to adorn the chicken patty should be fresh too. Not only was my patty topped with the sauce, (and soggie) it was absolutely the most disgusting sauce I've ever tasted. The sauce is supposed to be made with chopped tomatoes and fresh basil, not tomato paste (or whatever that was). That simple. Hopefully, they will read this and adjust their sloppiness. The ciabatta bread was baked to perfection and the wine was delicious!
The food is fabulous. The owner waited on us and is friendly and funny. We highly recommend this restaurant!!!!
We told Papa Tucci that it was our anniversary. He personally attended to us and at the end of the meal, sang a beautiful and romantic aria. It was an awesome experience!
Every time we've gone it's been absolutely fabulous ... definitely the best Italian we've had in Utah. Wonderful people, too. HIGHLY recommend!
Service and food is always good here. I love the friendliness of the management and the staff. Authentic Italian food and great deserts.
Best Italian restaurant in the Salt Lake City area.
An absolutely lovely Valentine's Day dinner. Very warm, inviting atmosphere and delicious food.
Every time the family and I dine at Tucci’s we always have to order the Lamb and the Gnocchi. The two best items on the menu.. besides the most delicious bread of course!
Food was AMAZING and the staff if very good about checking to see how you are.
Tucci's is a cute restaurant but I feel their pasta wasn't very tasty for the price we paid. I loved the bread, loved the salad, but the main course you should love, and I didn't.
This restaurant is one that my wife and I have fond memories of since we got married. In fact one of the nicest Christmas Eve experiences we had was before we had kids and went there for dinner. The food is amazing and I cannot remember a meal that we didn't like. My favorite is the Linguine Alle Vongole. The clams are perfect and there is just enough of a kick from the red pepper to spice it up but not take away from the flavor. The service is almost always above exception however on this last visit the server did forget to bring the appetizer we ordered. This was one time in 18 years though so I certainly don't think it's a thing that happens often. I take my management team there every year to show my appreciation and they love it too. I HIGHLY recommend Tucci's for any special occasion or just a quiet night out with someone special. I also recommend using Open Table to get your reservation. It is so simple and easy to do.
I like to go to Tucci's with my family. It's a bit on the spendy side, but Papa Tucci's hospitality makes it worthwhile. Make sure you have time for a leisurely lunch or dinner when you go.
The menu looked good so we invited clients for dinner. Our server was attentive at first, but it took a while to get our drink order. The mozzarella balls were delicious. Our clients enjoyed their dinner. I had the chicken parm and it was good, but a little bland. The warm bread was good and it has a nice atmosphere. We had a good time.
