   Food was great, service (once at our table) was great and atmosphere was fun. It was a great family dinner and evening. Only complaint was the 20+ minute wait for our table when we had a reservation.

   Great place! Went on St Patrick’s celebration (when they turned the river green). Packed, but service was flawless. We shared a salad, 1 filet and 2 sides and we couldn’t finish of how much it was! We got the signature filet and they know their cuts. Definitely a place to bring family and friends if you want to impress. On a social gathering or even a date.

    Anniversary dinner and it was exceptional! The service was top notch, the food cooked perfectly (petit filets, lobster tail, lobster bisque)…the “petit” lobster tail was massive and worth every penny!

    Gibson’s is iconic! It’s the place to go for a descent steak but the crab cake is even better! And if you like people watching near Gold Coast this is it! Solid martinis as well!

    Outstanding service sitting at the bar with Mark, a veteran classic bartender who knew how to make you feel welcome and provide outstanding service. Food was excellent - certainly pricey but worthwhile for special dinners. The ambience and energy is classic Chicago.

    While the food, ambiance, and overall experience were as fabulous as expected, our server pushed the night up and over the top. I am embarrased to say I cannot remember her name, but she was a pro - friendly and casual, knew the menu and the food, and took extra steps to make this the night out we wanted. We are not regulars, a meal at Gibson's is a luxury for us, but worth every penny. Every bite of the food was amazing, and I was thrilled to see the place jam packed, even at 5pm. It was a special early Valentine's Day for us. We'll do it again!

    As always, the food and service were amazing. The only issue is the noise level because it’s always packed. Hard to get to the bar to get a drink while waiting for your table. But we still love going there. I have to be gluten free and the server was amazing with that to make sure I didn’t get sick.

    First of all, they have their own cattle and the quality of beef is superb (I'm a farmer myself). Service was outstanding as always. Cocktails were perfect as well as the fun atmosphere both in the dinning room and piano bar
