    The environment is beautiful and alone. The service is poor, inattentive and leaves something to be desired. I asked for bread service and they forgot. My daughter asked for a non-alcoholic drink and there was none. The menu only contains the name of the drink without the ingredients. We asked what the non-alcoholic drink was and the waitress simply said that it was “alcohol-free”. It felt like we weren't welcome. It was the worst dining experience in Chicago. I do not recommend.

    Unfortunately, “coursed out meal” was a rushed meal, to the point where we had gotten two apps and our dinner with only drinking one glass from our bottle of wine. We were also celebrating a special heavenly birthday and nothing was done to celebrate this despite conversations at the start of our experience. While the quality was still okay, the experience ruined what we did eat. Talked with the waitress and the front hostess about our experience and still nothing was done to rectify the experience. Extremely disappointed.

    It was amazing the location was great the food was amazing we were looking for Italian for our last night this restaurant popped up so I booked the owner can up and asked how we were doing and I told him it was my husbands bday and he sent up 2 homemade limoncello shots so good

    Really good place! I noted in the reservation that it was my partners birthday, so it was a bit disappointing to not at least be greeted with a small cake or something (not asking for it to be free of course, merely the presence of it without asking would’ve been nice). However the food itself and service were really good

    Martinis were fantastic. Food not so much. Had to ask when our entrees were arriving. When they arrived the pasta not cooked for either dish. The manager was nice/ apologetic and took them off our bill but we left very hungry and had to go find another restaurant to eat at.

    The food is delicious. I took co-workers to dinner as a thank you. They loved the food! We planned to go again before we finished our dinner. Just about everyone I have taken to dinner returns. My co-worker takes his mom everything she comes to Chicago. His friends from NY were very impressed with the food. They said Prosecco is a MUST when they visit Chicago again!

    Friend came into town and I was looking for a good Italian place near north river. Did some research online. Prosciutto in the burrata app was very dry. Got the fruitti del mare it was very salty could not even finish half. My friend got the riggitoni with sausage, it was dry and tasted like pho soup. Please choose another location for a nice dinner. I wish I did.

    It’s good and should be for the prices. For some reason we were not allowed to order appetizers without putting in our dinner order. Was strange but not a huge deal. The bread is not worth the charge. Love the atmosphere but at these prices they have serious competition.

    After dining at Prosecco’s several times before, our August 3rd dinner was very disappointing. Previously there was always a nice exchange with friendly door staff, but not on this evening. We were quickly seated, a waiter minimally interacted offering no real insight to dining options for the night. No complimentary prosecco was offer as on our other visits. The food did not seem presented with the same level balanced preparation and the fact that I had indicated on the reservation that this was a special day for us was not even acknowledged. All in all very disappointing compared to our previous visits.

    This is our fourth time dining here, and we’re celebrating a birthday. We had a great experience in the past, but this one was not the same and we will likely not be coming back… The service was terrible and our waiter never checked on us after we finished appetizers. He asked is how things were on two separate times (after we got our drinks and after appetizers), and left before listening to our response. I tried to ask for a straw to drink my spicy margarita, but he was already gone and likely didn’t hear me over the loud music. We were waiting a long time between apps and main entrees, and he never came back. After we finished our food and another staff helped us clean the table and box up the leftovers, we were sitting there, waiting for the waiter to attend to us. After about 10 minutes, I decided to physically get up and ask for the check. The hostess tried to help me get the attention of the waiter, and his response was a bit defensive/unapologetic, saying “oh i have your check ready here” (which was also not true). He asked another waiter to help close our table with my card. When I got the check back, there was no itemized receipt - we had no idea what was charged or why it seemed to be a bit more than anticipated. Since we were already running late by that time, we decided to just leave it alone and just avoid coming back.

    Was charged a 3 percent Delivery Fee. The additional charge was not disclosed on the online menu when initially booking the reservation. This is my 12th visit to the restaurant and first after the pandemic. Usually are greeted with a glass of Prosecco but was not the case on our last visit. Will likely not return.

    Absolutely Love Prosecco, definitely a favorite and we dine here several times per month. Our only issue is the new policy of insisting we order all appetizers and entrees at the same time. The servers, while great, are a bit brusque/rude at any questions or polite resistance. It's very off-putting and makes us feel rushed. Assuming this is to increase the check amount as diners are hungry and tempted to over order when they first arrive? This is the only reason that we could come up with. We overheard several other diners pondering the same. Please go back to the lower pressure way of dining. Doesn't happen when sitting at the bar. It's a much more relaxed pace and we ultimately order the same amount of food/beverages.

    What a great restaurant! The service was excellent, the food thoughtfully created and presented. Ambiance was great. Excellent experience. We are there several times a year. Sometimes we bring friends, sometimes it’s the two of us. Never disappointed.

    Wonderful experience for a birthday dinner. The atmosphere is calm and elegant and the staff was so phenomenally friendly. From the ladies at the host stand to the servers to the bussers to the food runners everyone was kind and friendly. The food came out looking amazing and tasted just as good. After our meal one of the managers even came outside while we were waiting for our Uber and chatted with us about our experience. Overall it was a great birthday experience for me and my family. We will definitely be back soon.
