X2O Xaviars on the Hudson is Peter X Kelly’s latest addition to the Xaviars Restaurant Group. It sits in the water on the only turn of the century Victorian pier still in use on the Hudson River. X2O’s Main Dining Salon's 25 foot vaulted ceiling and 3 walls of glass frame offers views of the George Washington and Tappan Zee Bridges, as well as sunsets over the Palisades. Guests encounter dishes incorporating classic French technique with Italian and Spanish influences, and Asian embellishments which create a wholly original cuisine unique to the Hudson Valley. The Dylan Lounge is a vibrant, up-tempo space with a sophisticated and playful bent that offers guests more dining options. Guests are invited to sample a variety of small plates and sushi, while dining at the Communal Table, sushi bar, or at traditional banquette and table seating.

I have ordered the salmon many times ,but I have never had such a small portion of salmon, and the orzo. If I had a teaspoon full, it was a lot. Plus it was served in a big soup bowl to fool the eye. Had I know there was a party in the main room, I would not have come because we had to eat in the bar room. I wanted to have a water view and beautiful holiday decorations. My special day was a disaster!!!!!!

The Chinese steamed dumplings (a special appetizer) were a standout delicacy. The Long Island duck was accompanied by lightly flavored fried rice and small turnips cooked to soft perfection. The three items on the plate harmonized with each other in flavor, texture, and appearance. The wine list included an interesting offering, an Italian sauvignon blanc, which we tried. As expected, the varietal characteristic was less pronounced than in sauvignon blancs from other regions, and we enjoyed getting to know this wine. Dessert was a tiramisu from heaven, and my dining companions raved about the chocolate molten cake. This was my second visit to X2O in three days. Obviously a favored dining destination.

Everything we ordered was divine--from the arugula salad and squash soup, to the short ribs with foie gras ravioli, and finally to the almond cake and banana bread pudding with walnuts. We came at lunch, and the prix fixe was reasonable in view of the high quality of the meal, the friendly attentive service, and the beautiful river view. It was my dining companion's first time at X20, and all indications are that she'll be back with a new crowd of people who have not had the pleasure. BTW because we knew we'd be drinking wine, we came by train and were charmed to be able to take the boardwalk right from the rear exit of the station to the door of X20. It's my goal to go to X20 as often as possible.

On December 1, we went to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were seated, at our usual table, and the usual staff waited on us. We felt like family, because we were so warmly received. The food continues to be excellent, and worth every penny. This is an experience not to be missed.

My colleagues and I had an outstanding dinner at X2O. The staff was very accommodating when technically they closed at 10:00 PM. Everyone enjoyed their choice from the menu.

If you want/need to be spoiled, go to X2O where the gorgeous vistas are only exceeded by the amazing food and stellar service. The entire staff is warm, welcoming and anticipates your needs. They are 'at the ready' without being obtrusive or annoying. Your biggest challenge is to strike the right balance between filling up on the passed hors d'oeuvres which have layered flavors and a great mouthfeel versus saving ample space for the forthcoming culinary wonders known as main courses and dessert. The bill was modest for the high caliber of the X2O experience. The only way to soften the blow of having to leave at the end of this experience, is to plan to return soon. I INSIST upon my friends going to X2O and highly recommend it to anyone. Signed, Super Selective

Dining at X2O Xavier’s is a joyful experience. Thanksgiving was extra exceptional. I had colossal coconut shrimp for an appetizer, turkey for my entree and warm apple pie for dessert. It was delicious. Service as also was excellent. I have been dining at X2O for over 10 years and will return as often as possible, it is a great dining experience

This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. My friends, and I gladly drive the hour and a half from Eastern Long Island to have brunch there. Ambience is excellent. The view is magnificent, and the service is outstanding not to mention the fact that the choice of entréesis excellent and the food is outstanding. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant.

The location is breathtaking. The service is above par. The food spectacular. Only downside the decor is dated. For such a great location the interior needs to be updated. Looks like it was done 30 years ago. Has the potential to be the hottest spot of 2024

Overall quite good. This was not our first time. But we had to wait 30 minutes to get our scheduled table. Perhaps because it was Restaurant Week (which I had not accounted for). Still, good food, nice views, excellent staff. We will be back.

Reserved a nice table to celebrate my husband’s birthday and was seated upstairs in the middle of the room. Service was slower than usual and they forgot my son’s dessert until we told them. Our table had bread crumbs due to the long wait for our entrees but the waiter didn’t bother to clean it. Always had a wonderful time here but unfortunately this time we were disappointed. Used to be our favorite place in Westchester County but not anymore. Very disappointed.

Would expect better service from a place like this. Seated more than 20 minutes late for reservation. Server didn’t even come over to introduce himself, just immediately wanted our order. The appetizer came out immediately and had shells in it, which. I would have told our waiter had he ever actually asked how anything was. Felt very rushed only to be left sitting there with our empty plates for about 20 minutes with no workers acknowledging us as they walked passed. A couple was seated next to us during this time and kept remarking how crazy it was that not one waiter had been to their table to acknowledge them since they sat too. At the end of the night our waiter literally tossed the check on our table when we were done without saying one word (no thank you for coming, hope you enjoyed your meal etc.) and immediately ran to give the larger table next to us all his attention. Do not plan on ever going back.

Peter Kelly and his staff always do a great job, and Peter is such a valuable member of the Yonkers community. Happened to be Restaurant Week, and their RW portions were full-sized, which is not usually the case at other restaurants.

We had a restaurant week lunch! Portions were quite small. Pork roast was a bit dry. We have dined at X2O for years! Feel it has slipped a bit for this visit!

The food was delicious, fresh and perfectly cooked. Even though it was a cloudy day the view of the GW and the Hudson was endlessly entertaining and interesting. The service was impeccable.

Took my bff for her birthday lunch. It happened to be restaurant week. Service and ambiance were great. Mushroom ravioli app was very good. Salmon entree my friend had was very good. My pork entree was disappointing. I usually don’t order pork because it can be dry but decided to try it. It was mostly dry and chewy. Desserts quite good.
