For a decade founder Gari Sugio has run a sushi restaurant that is innovative in the way it serves sushi with both cold and warm ingredients, offering more than 130 varieties. Sushi of Gari 46 focuses primarily on serving Gari’s “Signature Omakase” Sushi dinner which shows off his expertise with marinated and spiced raw and slightly cooked ingredients, in addition to a menu of traditional Japanese dishes. The sake selection, by Gari Sugio, is one of the best in town along with a limited wine selection of fine wines.

The quality of sushi and service was good. I do not recommend the restaurant based on the value, it should be so much better for the cost. Literally they charged at Michelin level and delivered at about average.

We love the food but the price has just gotten too high. The first course of the omasake had squid -‘a high risk item and one other item that was just ok. The other selections were good but $500 for a quick dinner for two is just outrageous for a pre-Theater dinner

We always have a hard time picking a restaurant before a show bc theatre district restaurants are very touristy. But this place has great sushi and quick stop when short in time to catch a show.

A perfect restaurant choice close to the theater. Sushi was fresh, wait staff gives a full description of what you’re ordering. Towels are given to freshen and clean hands. Bathroom spotless. Staff is mindful and sensitive to your time, if you’re attending a Broadway show. Would recommend.

The apetizers and the sushi were verygood. The Teriyaki chicken was average at best, not what I expected from this restaurant. The noise level was extremely igh to the point of being uncomfortable. i would recommend this restaurant to friends who only want sushi.

Came for a family dinner with our daughter. It did not disappoint. The Tuna sampler was amazing and the chefs created a salmon assortment similar. The imported fish from Japan was super fresh. Service was on point. Will try another location on a return visit.
