It was the worst experience we have ever had at legal seafood. We will NEVER go back. We ordered the fried clam dinner as an appetizer. I am positive the clams that came out were bad not only were they not crispy, they were actually greasy and smashed together like mush. We have grown up in New England eating fried clams China including ant Legal Seafood and these were by far the worst we have ever had or seen brought to a table. Sadly, the waitress from had no idea what they were supposed to look like or she wouldn’t have brought them to the table. The manager never came over and apologized. We canceled anything else we had ordered and we left the restaurant. We paid for our cocktails and a salad one of our guests ate.

This was our first experience at this location.Not what we expect from Legal Sea Foods, which is a "go to" for us. Our out of town guests were unimpressed, rightly so. All four of us agree the food was fresh, good ingredients, but bland. The service was horrible. Our server worked hard, I gave her a full proper tip. But she was overwhelmed, we had to ask for everything, even water. She avoided eye contact, but I empathize. This location needs improvement. We will not return.

Quiet, relaxed place for a Saturday night. Pretty much what you’d expect from a legals, no more, no less.

Some great lunch specials. They were able to quickly seat our large group, but service was a bit slow; there seemed to be a limited number of servers. That said, it was a tasty, enjoyable meal.

Great food (especially the sea food) and excellent service - but they do close quite promptly so be prepared to eat quickly if you prefer a later dinner.

The food was very subpar. The Brussel sprouts were undercooked and very bitter. The rice pilaf was stone cold, and the sea bass was average. Service was good. A real waste of money from our standpoint. There are so many other good restaurants to choose from. Please do.

Our wives got the halibut, it was very good. I got the tuna. It was mediocre. My friend got the chilled lobster roll, it was very good. The Boston Cream Pie was good.

Legal is always a great experience - high quality and dependable. This time was no exception; we had a good meal with a few standout items. I had a lobster roll, Connecticut style, of course (warm butter). Despite the dreaded "MP" pricing, it felt like a good value; it was huge, perfectly prepared, and very good. The fries that came with it were excellent. And, the Boston Cream Pie is outstanding - non traditional, in a good way, and really good. Service was OK; it started out very quick but slowed down dramatically in the latter half of the meal. Service staff were all professional, polite, pleasant - really nice to work with - but it was noticeably slow near the end. But, graduation weekends are very busy in Cambridge and they were working hard. We will be back!
