I went for happy hour and the food and drink were great. The gyozas, the hand rolls and the pumpkin tempura on the HH menu were delicious. We also went to a little speakeasy behind the restaurant. It was a little noisy inside but there is also outdoor seating.

Went for DineLA promotion / had reservations but were seated in the dark back upstairs area / didn’t feel like we were even part of the restaurant / food was average but incredibly over priced — $80 for two (no drinks) — seems gimmicky …. Might be back for happy hour to give it another try as we like to support local businesses.

Great food and service but the outdoor patio is actually on the street and its noisy. The night we were there is was also windy. Maybe not do outdoor seating next time.

We loved our Pre-fixe dinner here! My husband started out feeling like he would not have enough it eat, and in the end was more than satisfied with the food and the courses. He literally could not finish his 4th course! The food quality was very good and the presentation simply, yet visually pleasing. The number of selections on the menu were varied and made it hard to choose. We would return again for the food here! It's small inside, so a reservation is wise. Looking forward to our next visit.

Food was excellent and portions were great for the price paid. The only issue was first server referred to us as “girls” not sure if he was being nice or what. I figured I was old enough to be an aunt? Not a good form of customer service. One of the staff looks like a manager made up for it since she kept coming to our table to see how we were doing. overall a great experience and would visit again.

To be fair, they said that they were not sure they would even be open that night. There was only 1 person waiting tables but he was doubling as the bar tender and the busboy didn't speak English. The food was great but the service was slower than slow. It took 15 minutes to even get a drink. Not sure I'll be back.

My partner has been to Fin quite a number of times as he lives locally, and this was my second time. The food is always fabulous and the portions are decent sizes! We ordered the avocado fried rice, popcorn shrimp, and I got the yuzu grilled salmon and he ordered his favorite which was the miso black cod. We absolutely loved the popcorn shrimp and my creative mind started going (I love cooking and coming up with crazy ideas) and expressed that the popcorn shrimp definitely needed to go on a wonton shell with some other fixings for a popcorn shrimp wonton taco! Definitely had a lot of fun and can’t wait to go back!!

I loved the yellowtail sesame hand roll. The wrap is a bizarre texture that serves as a great vehicle to the lips. The salmon carpaccio is delicious and quite fresh. The mock berry cocktail is delicious.

Food was amazing. Fin roll, rainbow roll, and steak/mashed potatoes were incredible. Just a heads up - If it’s a full house it is quite loud and you have to yell to other people at your table. Suggest opting for outside seating if it’s busy and you want a different vibe.

Almost everything we had was incredibly delicious. The shrimp, salmon sashimi, and fried rice were amazing. Every drink was great. One of the rolls was just ok. The steak and asparagus came out pretty late and was just ok. Our server was great and mixed all of our drinks perfectly. I will absolutely be back!

Great food, fun indoor seating, awesome big outside patio. Good was outstanding. We ate some sushi rolls, edamame, a teriyaki bowl and the fish tacos. All terrific. The tacos were very small but tasty. My only suggestion is better service. Our server was not present for long stretches. So our meal took 30 minutes longer than planned. (Maybe they were short staffed. The place was hopping!) I recommend eating at FIN.
