Saint Rocco's at Trinity Groves
Friday-Saturday 5:00 pm-11:00 pm
Sunday 5:00 pm-9:00 pm
The Restaurant is Beautiful and Very Elegant. Food was Very Good, But the Canoli was absolutely AWFUL!! The Dessert Menu is also VERY Limited. Our Server was very nice but very inattentive and acted as if thought he would rather be somewhere else other than at Restaurant. It took him awhile to get Drinks and Butter to the Table. After the Food was out, we didn't see him again until we were almost done - Again just no personality at all.
Sitting out side, we had a great view of downtown Dallas
The ambience was perfect. The only thing that would have made it better is if we would have been able to have a cocktail in the upstairs lounge area. It was closed due to a private party. The Spicy Shrimp Linguini was WONDERFUL!!
My daughter selected this restaurant for our Mother/Daughter night. The chef salad and chopped salads were delicious and the Bellini’s were AWESOME. I was not impressed with my Alfredo and the banana pudding I took home for dessert. Overall the dining experience was “OKAY”, but we are willing to give it another try.
We went to Saint Rocco's for our anniversary. It was amazing. The food was great. It was a nice evening so we chose to eat on the patio. Service was very good. We will definitely come back.
Great place for a nice romantic dinner, great place for the family too. You can't go wrong
Great atmosphere. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious.
We returned to Saint Rocco after a few months to find that the upstairs bar was not open to the public on this night-----they told us that it is only open on the weekends. Very disappointed.
Dinner was fine. Our server was excellent and we enjoyed him a lot. The food was good, not great, but good. We had a nice evening with our friend and will probably return. We enjoy the atmosphere but will definitely wait until the roof top bar is open since that is a fun piece of an evening---great view and lots of fun
Amazing time!!!!! Here for an anniversary and the service is so impeccable, as is the restaurant and food itself. Super friendly and inviting! Worth every penny!!!
Very good. will be back. THis was a special occassion for homecoming. Great place for a date.
Surprisingly fun atmosphere with delicious food and wonderful service.
Amazing food and service was perfect. Our water and wine never stayed empty! This was very good service from your entire team!
THANK YOU Saint Rocco's for helping me pull off my proposal without a glitch. Due to last minute thunderstorms, I had to change my plan completely and ran into Saint Rocco's 30 minutes before our group of about 20 people descended upon them and flooded the restaurant. I expected a restaurant to be overwhelmed and unlikely to accommodate, but the manager came right over and showed us where we could push together and gather, and made this part of the process truly seamless.
They were very kind and accommodating, and I couldn't have done it without you
Our 27th Anniversary and wanted to go back to Saint Rocco’s. Had a drink on the rooftop lounge before dinner. Awesome views of Dallas. Wife ordered chicken parm and I had the baked penne special with sausage and carmelized onions. Fried zucchini on the table to start. Italian bread with bowl of sauce to dip was really good. Both entrees were delicious. We met Melita the manager During our previous visit and she remembered us. She sent a complimentary bottle of champagne to us and brought the owner to our table as well. He is a fellow New Englander, from MA and we are from RI. Great guy and really appreciate me us choosing Saint Rocco’s for our anniversary. Overall, a great meal, atmosphere and dining experience. Thank you for making our anniversary a special evening!
Great find! It was our first time there and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service top notch. We'll definitely be back!
First time guest, decided to have my birthday dinner here and I loved it!
Brought back memories of the NNY restaurants we frequented back in the day. The food was excellent (but the portions for family style were a little small). Our server did an excellent job and made sure we had a great night.
Ate here last Friday 9/28 for my birthday with my family. Wonderful time. We are Italian and can be a tough crowd to impress :) Saint Rocco's did it! We were sat on time for our reservation. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Great Italian food in an old school atmosphere. I'll definitely come back!
Amazing! Cant wait to go back again!
Excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere! We will definitely be back!
This was my 1st time here. My girlfriend and I enjoyed it. Will be back again.
Had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to go back. Food and service was excellent. The staff was extremely attentive and the food came out with perfect timing.
We were in the mood for Italian and stumbled on this neighborhood gem through Open Table. So glad we did. It is authentic "home-style" Italian done absolutely perfect. The wine list is more than sufficient but not ostentatious. The cuisine will meet anyone's interest and the attention and care we received was first rate.
Jason was our waiter. I had questions on how certain food was prepared n he gave me direct answers
The food is pretty good, but the service was absolutely horrendous. It appeared that our server had no prior service experience in a reasonably nice establishment. Our server took awhile to greet us and take our order. There were two of us dining, sitting next to one another at a four top - the brought us our plates and set them down while standing between us. He neglected to check back on our meals until after we were finished. It appeared that our server Luis was not the only one lacking skill and etiquette. At one point, another server walked up to our table and asked if anybody was sitting in one of the other chairs; he took the chair with him before we could reply. Another server elbowed me in the back of the head...twice; both times without apology. When Luis finally returned to our table, he dropped the dessert menu without comment - before we had a chance to even look at it, a different server took the dessert menu off our table. Luis took 15 minutes (no exaggeration) to take our dessert order. When I told him about the menu being taken, he offered no apology or comment, simply replied "hmmm". I asked for the check. He brought me the bill without comment and picked up/dropped the creidt card payment with no thanks no comments, nothing. I have been to St. Rocco's before, and it was decent; however, I will likely never return, as it was an awful experience.
Overall the service and food was great, I think the only thing that I have to say that was kind of negative is the zucchini chips that y’all bring out in the beginning needs a little work. I mean they’re extremely cold and , I think lf they Where warm they would be more appetizing.
Food wasn’t what I expected. Service was slow and had to remind the server multiple times. Food just did nothing for me. Bland
The food was fabulous the best Italian food here in dallas. I have recommended your restaurant and shared with friends and family that your restaurant is this best taste of Italy. I have traveled to Italy your restaurant reminded me of the restaurants in Italy.
My experience was outstanding, great service, friendly staff great food great service great atmosphere excellent place for lunch and dinner.
Staff and food were above average. Excellent presentation! Love the "feel" of this restaurant. Upscale Italian (I am picky...I am Italian and cook Italian) presented and prepared fresh
I took my Wife to celebrate her promotion. The food, ambiance, and service made the outing special.
Dinner was fine, service was good but not over the top. Upstairs bar & view were nice but pretty quiet. Trinity Groves used to be hopping. Not so much now. Fred our waiter was nice. The mules were really yummy & fresh tasting. Loved the hanger steak. Pot roast was alright.
The best part of our Meal were the drinks on the rooftop! The meal started out with fried Zucchini Chips which looked great but tasted like the oil had not been changed in sometime. The burratta was good but the fried raviolis were overdone and a bit burnt! The main course didn’t come out for almost 40 minutes and after asking our waiter he kind of simply seem to say we’re just a bit behind. By this time the restaurant was only half full. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was good but dry! Not a great experience for me!
Ambience & service was good. The salads were very good. The veal Parmesan was not at all good. It was burned around the edges & did not have a good flavor. I should have sent it back. We did not ask to see the manager until the end of the meal. She took my entree off the bill, which we appreciated. The bar upstairs has a wonderful view of downtown Dallas!
Service was poor and managers attempt to resolve with a free dessert offer was botched because they forgot to deliver that too!
Not worth the trip.
Bread was crusty. Entrees were excellent. I would have given the food 5 stars, but the zucchini chips they bring to the table were limp. Tasted like they had sat for a while. We asked for some fresh ones, and they were still like they were soggy. Not very appetizing. I have had them before and they were crispy.
Other than that we had a great time. Our waitress was nice, but they seemed to be a little short staffed, so she wasn’t as attentive as she could have been, as she seem to be covering several tables.
My fiancé and I came here after I proposed to her and we had a phenomenal meal. The staff were all extremely friendly, the food was excellent, great ambiance, and the prices were outstanding!
Nice venue comfortable ambiance food was ok, better than olive garden but not by much. Service was painfully slow and inconsistent. A couple who sat down after our order was taken received all of their food before us. We were 5 minutes away from walking out. It took exactly an hour from being seated to receiving our entrees leaving us with 5 minutes to eat so we could make it to the theater on time. Good news bad news the food was not remarkable enough to finish. We wont be back.
Definitely one of my favorite places in Dallas
The scenery was nice and a good setting for a romantic date
Will be attending again
