Beautiful setting and fantastic food. Live music was nice too.
A Sunday Brunch worth the drive. The menu changes often, so repeat visits will have different selections. Everything was very good and the staff are very friendly.
Fun place to visit and eat. Live music was a little loud for quiet conversations.
Food was wonderful.
Shuttle driver was a treat.
Enjoyed a family brunch with the grandparents. Lovely views, delicious food, educational shuttle ride!
Delish brunch in amazing setting
Great option after the whiskey tours. The brunch seemed overpriced. We had some appetizers instead and a drink. Great views and had a fun time at the tour.
Ambiance and service was amazing. This was our 3rd time dining. We were surprised at some of the changes (i.e. no 3:00 tour, no longer able to serve a flat of shots) a heads up thru email of liquor enforcements would have been appreciated.
I attended sunday brunch here to celebrate birthdays. It was one of the best brunches I have been to in years. The selection was simple, flavorful and fresh. There were new things to try and classic brunch items.
I would recommend this for any adult wanting to enjoy good food in a classy atmosphere.
Great atmosphere and service. Drinks were wonderful.
This is my third trip to High West for brunch, but it was a 2p reservation (only time available with 3 weeks notice). My two other previous reservations were at 11a and was a very great experience. I do not recommend the brunch at an afternoon time slot. Service was extremely slow and non-attentive; even when the server passed by our table at least six times. Brunch is over at 3p. The staff seemed to be ready for the service to be over perhaps is why our small party was being avoided.
Pricey for the level of attention to detail. Food was better than average and pretty fresh. At $40 per person ($20 for kids)...and $18 cocktails, I expect a bit more of a polish on service and the overall experience.
We ordered a couple bloody marys (for $36). The horseradish cream they're adding to them (inspired by the wasabi bloody mary at the St. Regis) curdles in the cocktail, making the second half of the drink disgusting.
When we politely mentioned it to our server, instead of offering us a different cocktail, he defended the recipe with a bit of attitude. Left a bad taste in our mouths literally, and figuratively.
All that said, the grounds are beautiful, and we love High West's story; the horse rescue efforts, and the libations, however we probably won't be back to Blue Sky Ranch any time soon.
The food was awful! For $40/person, one expects more than scrambled eggs & bagels
High West always delivers. Especially the bartenders!
High West never disappoints. Amazing food, the best view, great service!
Delicious food and cocktails - and the setting was spectacular.
Live music on the deck Thursday was a ton of fun! The food was great along with the scenery. The only downside was they just had one bartender and drink service was horribly slow.
Thirst Thursday’s are worth the drive! The food, location, drinks were wonderful! Love the family style dining 👍
This is NOT a review of the tour - its *just* for Sunday brunch. When I made the reservation and even spoke to someone on the phone afterwards to confirm, I requested outdoor seating. We were not able to be sat outside even when there were several empty 4 tops - we were a party of 2 but we had made the reservations as requested and we wanted to get away from the children and the noise (see below).
I was disheartened to learn that Sunday brunch was buffet style. While the quality of the food was pretty good - even though limited for someone with food allergies like myself - I could not believe the price, how loud the live "music" was (guy with guitar blaring covers - note: we are young musicians ourselves - we were surprised at how loud the PA was - we couldn't even have a full conversation!) and how many children were running around , yelling, and putting their hands in the food. Yikes.
The brunch drinks , on the other hand, were fantastic. Possibly the only thing that got me through.
We are, however, looking forward to coming back for another tour and tasting and possibly a more traditional style meal.
Great Sunday brunch! Good selection of food and drink!
Staff is always great especially Sterling and manager Steve!
The view and outdoor experience are absolutely wonderful. The Sunday brunch was a cut above. I would strongly recommend the brunch. The dinner on Thursday night was very lackluster. The ambience is the only thing that saved it. The staff are very friendly and service was excellent. The gift shop is also fun.
Came for the tour and the Sunday brunch. The food was amazing, and the live music was a nice addition I didn’t expect. There is a shuttle bus you have to take up to the restaurant so get there a few minutes early for your reservation.
Excellent food! Loved the location and experience as a whole. It’s on the expensive side, but totally worth it.
High West Distillery is set up on a mountainside with an incredible view. We did Sunday Brunch and it was outstanding. They had everything from brisket, to waffles to homemade cinnamon rolls. You will definitely not leave hungry with all of the yummy choices. The experience itself is more on the spendy side with brunch for two and two cocktails being over $100. Be prepared. If you get a chance, call ahead and get booked for the free tour, it’s worth it!
If you like trying different whiskeys and good food, great atmosphere.... it is a cool place and pretty grounds
We love taking out-of-town visitors to High West for the Sunday Brunch. The architecture and setting is simply spectacular, and the food items are always delicious. Worth the drive out for sure. Only notes - despite what their phone message says, you DO need a reservation (book it on Open Table), and arrive ~15 min early to leave time for the free shuttle up to the building from the lower parking lot. We've gone several times and it's a great experience every time.
High West Distillery does not disappoint! Fantastic Sunday Brunch! Well worth the expense!
this was fantastic.
you need reservations to eat here, but it's impeccably done and we were blown away by the overall quality, as well as the beauty of the site as well.
this is a destination-type of place. it's out of the way, but more than worth your time getting there.
Great place. Highly recommend.
Went for Sunday Brunch, compared to others that we have been to in snowbird and deer valley this one didn’t offer variety for the price. We enjoyed the tour of the distillery and tasting before brunch though and would recommend!
Just fantastic experience
We made a reservation for the Sunday brunch. Everything was outstanding. Wish we could have eaten more! The view was beautiful and there was live music. We took a tour of the distillery after and then had a tasting upstairs for a $14 fee. Loved the bus driver, Mr. Bill. Ask him how he got the nickname. Great day!
We had a wonderful time! Loved sitting outside listening to the live music!
Phenomenal food, drink, service, venue, and view, in line with what we’ve come to love about everything High West. Know that the buffet wraps around 3pm and that you’ll need to take a shuttle to and from the ranch gate to the distillery, so arrive a little early.
Food was good but lacking a little compared to what they were putting out when they first started Sunday brunch
They keep raising the bar at the Refractory. Always a great setting and great distillery tours, but the new food offerings are really great. the brunch menu and presentations are fantastic.
We love High West and going out to Wanship. We plan on bringing out of town guests by this summer. Favorite spot. Food is always excellent, service is always top notch and friendly.
We loved the beautiful setting as we sat outdoors in perfect temperature and listened to the band play. Our servers were very good, friendly and prompt.
Work Springville Utah ever so often and always spend new get before Orr after in park city. Will include HW in our next visit
We liked the food, atmosphere, hosts and everything else.
