    Absolutely loved this place. My husband and I showed up for a quick bite and we’re a bit under dressed but the staff treated us super respectfully! Had the deviled eggs, poke bowl and the 7 oz steak and all were AMAZING! Will definitely come back and eat here again!

    Ocean Prime was great overall. The waiters attended to us as soon as we sat down and our food came to the table at a good time. Only thing I would say is our waiters disappeared once a larger party came in and was only attending them for a while. I actually thought he forgot about us. And it was super cold in there and it wasn’t even a hot day. But despite the few hiccups, my wife and I enjoyed ourselves and would go there to eat again. The food was phenomenal and the dessert was amazing!

    Large space which, when full, can be quite noisy. Food is excellent however, as are the drinks and service. Entrees are a good mix of steaks, chops and fish. Sushi list is wonderful.

    The valet was great as were the hostesses. We were seated by the bar which was extremely loud, along with the music. The waitress was sweet but not very attentive. My house salad had brown lettuce which was unexpected. Thw sushi was decent. The steaks were apparently very good according to the members of my party that ordered them. The waitress gave us a free dessert for my son’s 25th birthday which was very sweet. I was expecting something similar to Capital Grille which was my mistake as I was sorely disappointed. For the amount of money we paid I expected more. We probably would have had a very different experience if we had been seated away from the very busy bar which was filled with poorly dressed and extremely loud millennials. I am clearly too old for this place and will stick with Legal Seafood and Capital Grille.

    Surf and turf app was delicious! We split the wedge salad which was big. I got the filet and husband got the lamb chops, for sides we got the asparagus and Au gratin potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly! Warm butter cake was heavenly. Service was fantastic and we didn’t wait for anything. Best steak house in Boston hands down.

    Celebrated our 20 yr anniversary in Boston. We had the best meal and truly enjoyed our date night. Food was amazing and our waitress Carrie was awesome. Thanks!

    I went for my anniversary the food was good but the service was poor. For being 2 people I think the service should have be more better and much more inviting. I felt like it was just another chain restaurant nothing special. I compared our last anniversary which we went to Eddie v’s and it was like night and day. I will definitely not be coming back to Ocean Prime for any special occasion.

    The atmosphere, food, and service were all terrific. The menu has lots of great choices and they offered nice specials. I had the Alaskan halibut over lobster, a special, which was wonderful ($72.00). The prices are a bit high, but it is worth it. Service excellent and the restaurant area was full but did not feel crowded. The bar area was busy and seemed tight. You will not be disappointed dining here.

    Ocean Prime has been our go-to place for a special occasion for many years. This time, when we retrieved our car from the Valet, the Valet and the car overwhelmingly smelled distinctly like marijuana.

    We had a reservation for a dining room table, but when we arrived surprisingly there were seats together available at the busy bar; so, we decided to stay and eat dinner at the bar. The three bartenders were outstanding! They were friendly, made great drinks, and were very attentive throughout our time there, anticipating our needs before we asked. We decided to stay with the “ocean side of Ocean Prime on this visit and had the hamachi crudo appetizer, and then the twin lobster tails and sea scallops with English pea risotto for our entrees. All were fresh and excellent and we would highly recommend any of them.

    Special acknowledgement of our server Amy. Made a special evening even that much more special. Very good restaurant. On the expensive side, but good value for what you get. Highly recommend when in Boston.

    First time to this location. Service and staff were exceptional, attentive, efficient, helpful. Dominique was a wonderful server very personable. Lobster bisque was delicious and creamy, steaks and lamb were expertly prepared and the sides were a perfect compliment to the meal. Extensive wine list, good variety of craft cocktails and good atmosphere.

    Nice location, high quality food and ambience. The servers seemed to have had “too much on their plate”. It took us almost an hour to get a round of drinks and order food.

    Absolutely the best place in Boston hands down. Everything was delicious. Personally, my favorite was the bread in the beginning and then my filet mignon. And the drinks were amazing and the desert was absolutely phenomenal

    Great experience all around. Very accommodating, helpful and a very pleasant staff. Food is simply amazing. The best Chilean Sea Bass ever. It’s what I always get when I dine there. Cucumber gimlet is perfect always. 😊

    Absolutely delicious food, amazing service. They truly care about their customers! Prices were fair (you get what you pay for!) and I wish I could have eaten everything on the menu. Definitely a new must-go-to when I go to Boston.

    The whole experience was delightful. The service was great and the food was delicious. We both had the sea bass but we were able to order it with the accompaniment we wanted, ie. risotto and lobster. Menu items both food and drinks was extensive. If you want to treat yourself to a nice dinner out this is the place to go!

    Cocktails were tasty. My sea scallops dish had a great balance of lemon, salt, and butter. The baked lobster Mac and cheese came with sizeable pices of lobster which isn’t always the case with other restaurants. Key lime pie had a buttery crust with a perfect fire torched whip cream on top. Would recommend to others.

    We had a great server and meal. Entrees and wine were fabulous. Sides were just ok. The noice level was loud enough that I had to ask our sever to repeat the specials even though the tables on either side of us were empty at the time. All things considered I would go again.

    It is quite loud in there, which was a little surprising to me. I expected it to be a quiet dinner where we could visit. But the wait staff was amazing - they went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. They’re very good with food allergies and knowing what might be affected by them. Every single thing we ate was over the top delicious and I would absolutely eat there again. If you’re on the fence, go for it. You won’t be disappointed.
