Phenomenal food, great service, burlesque show is a must see!!
By far one of my favorite restaurants. The food was outstanding, service was on point, and the music was a great addition. So much history in this area, it was neat to feel a part of it.
Food was great -- but server ignored us and handed us the check before we could even try to order another drink.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there. The show and food were great!
The burlesque show was amazing!! The live band was great. My server was soooo nice. Overall a great experience. Can’t wait to go back.
Our first time to Nashville and we’re looking for somewhere to enjoy our anniversary. Skull’s fit the bill nicely. Great food and decent service and ambience.
Great atmosphere, music and service, but I recommend you come here for the food, which was absolutely delicious
love it here every time! great new roomy booths in the back now!! gets better every month
My favorite restaurant in Nashville. Service, food, and atmosphere is impeccable. Best prime rib around.
Wonderful food. Great environment. Great service
I loved the food. My wife is vegetarian and has very particular taste but she didn’t leave a crumb from her plate. Everything was delicious. Good cocktails and list of wines. I’ll didn’t get the show but tho pianist was fantastic.
Fun spot very noisy and rich food
I had the swordfish special. It was so salty I could barely eat it. My date had the prime rib & also said it was very salty. Caesar salad had zero taste. Definitely not worth the money & would never return.
This is a lovely restaurant, great setting, good ambiance, our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and approachable. The setting feels nicely intimate, good mood lighting. The cocktails and food were all excellent, in our opinion. It is a nice upscale dinner spot, after the fun but casual bar scene in the area. It was really nice to dine in a spot that was not over-the-top noisy, as so many restaurants are now. Our group would highly recommend this place.
Great all around
Great chef great food.
Was in town for weekend will go back next time in town. Food and service were top notch, prime rib was awesome.
This place has it all. Great food, service music and ambiance.
The food is amazing! We have tried nearly everything on the menu and absolutely love this place! The cocktails are great as well.
Thank you for having us! We had the most wonderful evening!
Skull’s was the best overall dining experience imaginable! Our group of four had filets and scallops and they were absolutely wonderful. The appetizer meatballs were amazing. Our waitress was extremely gracious (thank you Brie). We all loved the ambiance and the history of Skull’s and would give it the highest of recommendations.
Excellent dinner and music! Would highly recommend!!
We had reservations but the play we were attending ended earlier than expected, so we walked over to Skull’s & asked if we could be seated earlier than our reservation. Their answer: absolutely... and then proceeded to demonstrate how smoothly flawless they operate. The cocktails were simply amazing, the food was heaven to our palates, but truly, it was the service that made our visit to Skull’s Rainbow Room something spectacular. Every single staff person we interacted with was warm, friendly, professional & accommodating. I’m willing to visit Nashville again just for a visit to Skull’s.
Great atmosphere, wonderful dining with nice entertainment.
Skull’s Rainbow room was everything we hoped it would be. Delicious drinks (the best old fashioned I’ve ever had), incredibly vibrant and flavorful foods (the crawfish risotto was wonderful, so was the lamb) in a lively atmosphere. Definitely get reservations for burlesque nights, saves you the 20$ cover charge per person and gives a great view of the stage to enjoy the performance from. My wife and I loved it and are already planning to take friends the next time we visit Nashville!
We came for a fun Friday night out and were not disappointed. We started with Drinks and Appetizers - the cheese plate was the highlight, though the crab cakes and bisque were also delicious. They had a nice selection of drinks and cocktails. For entrees we had the steak, swordfish and lamb all were very good. My lamb was like butter! The dessert selection could use a bit of work. They were out of the cheesecake which was a bit disappointing.
We stayed for the burlesque show. I’ve been to other shows in places like Chicago and New York. While this burlesque was ok, it lacked in storyline and in the kind of sophistication I expected. It was more like a higher end strip show than a real burlesque. I would give it a b-.
Still we had a wonderful evening and left full, and happy with our experience.
Great dinner at Skull's...again. They never disappoint.
Fuimos para que fuera algo divertido porque teníamos jóvenes solteros en el grupo
My husband and I went for an anniversary dinner - food was excellent, server very friendly and helpful, music pleasant,
Amazing food, great service and such a cool space.
Don’t miss it when you are in Nashville!
Very cool atmosphere; friendly attentive service, great cocktails, food was excellently prepared and delicious. Plus there was superb live jazz guitar music (amazing actually!) and later he was joined by a top-notch female vocalist with a voice like a bell. All around very enjoyable dining experience.
Only complaint was the very limited menu...would have liked more choices. It was a great room with a lot of character
After many visits(we try to go at least once per visit to Nashville) to Skulls, it continues to never disappoint.
Our dinners were all excellent and of course the music and ambiance were all first rate!
Waitress was good. I ordered the prime rib. I could only eat a little over half of it because of all the grissle in it. Very disappointing. When the waitress took my plate away, she must’ve noticed all the grissle on my plate but did not say a word about it.
It is a nice restaurant but hard to have a good experience when the meat is sub par.
Amazing place! Food, ambiance, service and music were all on point!!
Delicious! Great service.
Cozy speak easy type of place. Great food. The prime rib was huge. Bartenders made fantastic drinks.
Great experience once again! Food is some of the best in Nashville.
Wonderful dinner and great service from Sarah!
Went for Dinner because of all the reviews on yelp. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. For appetizers we had the lobster bisque which had more creme fresh than bisque. The escargot was served atop mushrooms which were delicious but the sauce was so peppery it masked all the other flavors. In addition we had the fois gras. It tasted more like an over cooked chicken liver. The last appetizer we had was the special which was meatballs. They were very good. We had asked for some bread but they only had crostini. They called it crostini I called it stale bread. Worst part about it was when we got the bill that they had the nerve to charge $2.00 for it.!
We didn’t bother staying for dinner after the disappointment with the appetizers. I can’t comment on the dinner food but based on what we ate I’d pass.
