It was my husband’s birthday and Cozumel was an unscheduled stop for the evening. After browsing through numerous pictures and reviews, this restaurant really stood out. We were not disappointed! The food was amazing. Especially the Mahi Mahi. Unbelievably fresh and infused with wonderful ingredients. They even brought my husband a birthday shot of tequila. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to Cozumel. They have 2 locations and one is with walking distance of the port.

The restaurant was ClOSED!!!! Got there and guard says they only open when a Cruise is docked, and never on Sunday. VERY frustrated

Puerta Maya was actually closed, even though they accepted a reservation. We ended up paying double for a cab to take us to the other location. Not cool.

I’m going to assume this place is average. We walked to our reservation only to find the entire pier, including Pancho’s closed. I would recommend they update their hours of availability. I probably won’t try to eat here again.

Had the fish tacos, they were a bit bland! Husband had the mahi mahi cooked in a Veracruz sauce that was absolutely delicious and the service was great very kind and attentive.

We sat outside under the awning and watched the cruise ships as the island breezes cooled the warmth of the setting sun over the Caribbean. Most of the activity dies down after 5:00pm in Puerta Maya, so it was relatively quiet and contributed to our romantic dining experience. Our server Luis was attentive to our needs, assisted us in selecting entrees and was very friendly. The entree menu is limited to a dozen choices and allows the chefs to focus on creating outstanding meals. Our dinners were amazing. The restaurant is fashioned like an old Spanish mission adorned with bronze lights and decor. Highly recommended.

Great food. It would have been helpful if, on the restaurant's website, it specified that the restaurant is located in the specific cruise terminal at Puerto Maya. My cruise ship docked at the other terminal (it was a short walk to the restaurant) but we had a heck of a time finding the restaurant, because we thought it was in the terminal our ship had docked in.

My mom and I wanted some good Mexican food and thought this was the place. However we were there for 11:00am very little customers. Service was not good they just let us be never checking on us. Food very bland. We were so disappointed and we would not go back!!!

Great experience! Perfect location within the Carnival port, both indoor and outdoor dining with a nice breeze and view of the ships in port. Very accommodating when we had to change our reservation time because we did it to ship time, not local time. Wonderful service. Margaritas we're outstanding! Food was very good, especially the salsa and guacamole. We had the fajitas and a combination dish. Very very good but couldn't give it a full 5-stars without the wow factor. Overall great place you should go for easy great Mexican food and convenience to the Carnival ships.

We reserved Pancho's Backyard before sailing to Cozumel on Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas. The dock was a $16 dollar cab ride (split six ways) to Pancho's. What a lovely restaurant. The beer was cold, the food was delicious, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was amazing. And free wifi! Sitting outside with the trees and a convenient fan providing a cool breeze, we spent an amazing two hours over lunch. One of our companions tried the margaritas, and said they were very, very good. A great way to begin (or end) a day of shopping in Cozumel.
