The staff and food were AMAZING! Truly amazing!!
Really good and love it，especially the pasta.
My partner and I visited Figo for our anniversary based on the recommendation of a local bartender. It did not disappoint! We had an appetizer, pasta dishes, dessert and espresso. Each course was delightful and was accompanied by excellent service. I would highly recommend the bucatini! When we visit Toronto again, Figo will definitely be on our list.
Sat outside on the patio - just a bit windy
Great ambience with great quality Italian cuisine. The authenticity of its Italian culture is shown in its food.
The food was excellent and the waiter was attentive and a pleasure. Definitely worth it
Overall amazing !
My Wife and I enjoyed a wonderful evening! The staff was incredible and food was excellent!! We loved the calamari, charcuterie platter along with the seafood pasta and wild boar pasta. Figo was an awesome choice to enjoy a patio dinner.
Food is always on point. Best pizza in the city. Beautiful patio and great service
Great food as always but staff was not very friendly and quite rude. Told them it was my adult daughter’s birthday. They mentioned it at the beg of the evening and then did nothing about it. Ya think a candle or even her dessert she ordered might be free? Hostess was very rude. Said we in no way could have a patio seat that I requested and reserved. I mentioned there was one set up and no one else waiting. She gave into the idea but was very rude to us again when we left. Great food but that only goes so far. A friendly smile or greeting goes a long way to making people spending good money feel welcome.
Figo has in my opinion the best pizza in the city. It's a matter of taste but the crust is exactly the way I like it so I almost always have a pizza. The service is perfect, with just the right degree of attentiveness without being distracting and the staff are very knowledgeable. My only comment is I wish they would offer more Canadian wines. (It's perfectly understandable that the wine list is mostly Italian options, but on the New World list it is mostly US whereas there are wonderful Ontario wines.)
Whatever you do, when in Toronto you MUST, MUST visit this awesome restaurant, your life will be incomplete if you don’t dine at Figo!!!!!
FABULOUS!!!! It’s the best restaurant in the whole of Canada! We have been away for four months in New York and came back to Toronto for a short visit and, couldn’t contemplating booking anywhere other than Figo. The owners and staff look after you so well. They make you feel so special and as we were celebrating a birthday, complimentary fizz and desert. Coupled with great food and value for money. We dined here both Saturday And Sunday night and will return on Wednesday, our final night in Toronto.
FIGO cannot be overlooked. From the food, to the service, to the ambiance, this spot is an absolute gem.
Under the watchful eye of their General Manager, FIGO felt like the true definition of hospitality, rather than just a restaurant to eat at. It's rarer than one might think to see a manager who cares about the venue and the guests so deeply that it shows in each staff member to make an experience that is second to none.
We went to FIGO for our anniversary dinner and was impeccable. Simply perfect. I have to talk about the food. Considering we were just in Tuscany not long ago, FIGO has their Italian roots on lock. The Chef's choice meat and cheese platter was outstanding with meats cures right in house, served with a cherry compote and pickled vegetables and generous slices of crusty bread.
We also had the bucatini with wild boar ragu that tasted to authentic, we thought we were back in Florence! They served it al dente, which is the only way pasta is served across the pond. It seems like a small thing but it is maddeningly rare in Toronto!
The branzino, however, was sublime. Cooked perfectly, not too salty with a crispy skin on top, served with fingerling potatoes, broccolini, house made salsa verde and fennel was so good I wanted to let passers-by (of the beautiful plant-covered patio) try it to show them what they were missing.
For dessert we had their tiramisu. I'm actually not a tiramisu fan usually, but this was the exception. Not a crumb was left on the plate!
The real star of the show was the service. Our server and her support staff were courteous, attentive, personable, and professional. It's clear that FIGO chooses their staff carefully because the experience is everything. We never had to ask for anything! We didn't leave a dirty table but it was still cleaned and reset or each course.
We had to get to a play across town but never felt rushed at all. With that level of service we had plenty of time for another brilliantly crafted cocktail.
Food was alright. Service was not good. We had to call our server over every time we wanted another drink. Great design inside but for some reason, kept hearing loud crashes from staff dropping things on ground. Probably wouldn’t return.
Wine was expensive, pizza was good, pasta was good but a small portion for something that doesn’t cost much to make.
Service was quick and friendly
The best restaurant I’ve ever been at! Food and service were amazing!
Meal was perfect, as was service from Dina. Literally could not have been better.
Good, waiter was nice and food was excellent it was brought very fast and our glasses were never empty.
Great reception by the Manager, and solid service all around. Food was excellent.
Our waitress Rachelle was outstanding! Made the entire experience 10x better. Food was amazing, tasted very fresh. Overall love the place, looks amazing inside and had the best customer service experience possible.
Amazing food, wine and staff. Devin and his team are phenomenal!
It was wonderful
We had a wonderful evening. I was very impressed that the restaurant was able to accommodate my allergies to the best of their ability.
It would have been great if you had GF pizza dough or bread/gf crackers for anti pasta plater. If there was more grilled options that would also have been wonderful - grilled calimari, mussels etc on the menu.
But over all my GL seafood pasta was delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Lovely ambiance. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and offered a lovely table outside or inside. Our server was helpful, professional and warm. Shared the ricotta appetizer and found it delightful. Very good about allergies. Put truffle oil on the side for my dinner guest. Mains were very good though I found the bucatini dish a bit small for the price. We really like this place and would definitely recommend it to others. If you are celebrating something special, let them know in advance. They are very good at making it a night to remember.
Went for a business/birthday lunch and sat on the Patio. It was overall a good experience with good service and food, although a bit pricey.
Luckily the food was really good. Went last night with 4 others. The place was so hot - we were all sweating. When I asked the server about the lack of ac she just brushed it off. So 3 of us got our appetizers - we waited awhile and had to ask the server where the other 2 appetizers were! Same thing with our mains! Horrible kitchen and food service. Food is good.
The service was great and the atmosphere was buzzing. The food was too salty. I understand adding salt but it shouldn't be to that level. Everything I ate had an access of salt. The calamari was tough and rubbery.
Food was very unique and tasty.
I was there for Summerlicious and the only item I enjoyed was the appetizer which was the Caprese salad. The main was bland which was the Spaghetti a Limone and the Tiramisu was soggy. Not worth the $43 at all. The server was extra nice to us only when it came to tipping him. The others in my party ordered from the a la carte menu and seemed to have enjoyed their choice.
We were at FIGO to experience their Summerlicious lunch menu - for the amount you pay, you definitely get more than what you pay for! The size of the appetizer you got could've been a meal on its own. The food came out delicious and made to order .. didn't have to wait too long. The service from the moment we walked in to the moment we left was friendly, professional! Highly recommend!
it was a little bit noisy but good food
I’m sad to report we had terrible service. Waited for 90 minutes for main dishes to be served with no acknowledgement from the staff. When main dishes finally came, they arrived for 2 of 3 of our party with the 3rd main dish arriving almost 30 minutes later. Both of the first mains to arrive were steaks ordered medium rare but arrived well done. Awful and very disappointing. Delays can happen however to not have it acknowledged and to be kept waiting indefinitely with no explanation, plus not great food, is not what you’d expect from a fine dining restaurant.
All good but if you are on the patio and want to have a conversation with your table mate don’t sit by the pub next door.
Summerlicious menu was very weak. The main course options were not good and didn’t taste good and the bill was expensive. Very poor value for what you actually get.
But be aware of the noise. Apart from that good for food.
Amazing atmosphere and ambience. Food was absolutely spectacular! A must try!
First visit and loved it! Enjoyed summerlicious menu (others had a mixed menu) and the food was very good. Did not order wine (had cocktails and beer) but wine selection was good and prices very reasonable.
Will be back again for sure!
The food was over salted to the point where salt was all you could taste.
Our glasses were continuously refilled with 8 dollar bottles of water that we didn't ask for. Service was generally uneven
Great food and service - couldn’t be happier
