   They were closed for renovation as of June 1st. There was no notification of this when I rescheduled my reservation. Had to take my colleagues to a different place, luckily they didn't require a reservation.

   We had a reservation for 7:pm on Sat. June 1st and Al Vicoletto was closed when we got there, it has never happened to me before. No notice, from the restaurant or from open table. Not good. The place might be closed for good unexpectedly, but if not, this is unacceptable.

   Al Vicoletto was a great place to have dinner and is quiet and a good place to carry conversation. I wasn't a huge fan of the bolognese sauce, but overall the food was really well prepared and the staff were great to work with. I would highly recommend you try this place out.

    We had minestrone, an arugula salad and raviolis in a butter sage sauce. All were extremely delicious! The salad was exceedingly fresh. This was our second visit and it was just as good as the first. We will absolutely return whenever we visit the city.

    Tables were far enough apart so you didn't feel like you had to yell to hear your own friends, but the music was a little loud (We hadn't seen each other in a while and wanted to catch up). The food was really good, the service was also very good. We weren't rushed at all, and wait staff checked in on us to see if we needed anything else. The prices were good.

    This decor of the restaurant is very understated, but what it doesn't have in decor, it makes up for in service and food. Excellent choice. It wasn't loud, which was a real plus.

    The place is okay -- except the food which is overpriced and dreadful. The chef was there but otherwise, busy chatting up a lady at the bar. I asked for olive oil. No olive. oil; an Italian restaurant with no olive oil? V sad.

    Went for New Years Eve dinner. The food was amazing and the waiter was very attentive. We had lobster burrata, spinach and egg yolk raviolis in black truffle sauce and veal osso bucco. The portion sizes were the perfect amount to fill us up.

    Space is great but very few patrons and food was so average in a city of fantastic food. The burrata “pizza” was great, entrees and side broccoli were cold so we had to send it back to reheat. The dessert we wanted from the visible counter (2 meringue pies) were not on the menu. Lemon meringue was fantastic; vanilla was average. Wine was reasonably priced. Strongly suggest you head to another Italian restaurant regardless of the calm space and good service. So disappointed.

    The food was quite good but definitely underseasoned. Salad had very little dressing, if any, and oxtail ragu was badly in need of salt. Atmosphere was lovely and service was good but my fork was taken and not replaced with the next course. Like that the is a takeout area in front for salads and paninis and desserts.

    Food was superior and very reasonably priced. Lots of healthy lunch choices. Fava bean soup and multi-grain, roasted vegetable paninis were delicious. Gelato was among the best we’ve ever had. They recommended a fabulous montepulciano. Will definitely be back.

    Returned for a second meal after a very nice lunch. Our plan changed and we arrived much earlier than our reservation but it was no problem for them. The calamari+ app was delicious as were the pastas.

    I have eaten here several times, I like to use it for lunch meetings. Unfortunately, this Monday, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold, the service erratic and the food took a long time. I'll try it again, the food is good.

    Went for lunch service was excellent, we ordered 3 cheeses, we were impressed with the cheese board. Fresh apricot jelly, grapes and toasted bread. We ordered between us pasta, salmon and a 1/2 panini. Love the cookies with the check. Will definitely be back.

    Been here in the past and have had a significantly better experience. The family style menu is not as expected (you get what you pay for) - portions aren't nearly big enough. The regular menu is much better. Service was also poor in this particular experience as 3 people explained the family style menu differently, they couldn't find our reservation and seated us late, appetizers and entrees were served at the same time, server insisted we get a smaller meat/cheese plate and it wasn't enough. Frustrated that we brought friends and had this experience. Will come back but not for family style menu.
