Very good option on a busy F1 weekend in Austin
The profiterole was the best dessert I have EVER had (“the craquelin”).
Amazing food, phenomenal music and outstanding service. That's all!
Delicious meal, although the plates are small, it was nice to share a taste of everything. Fabulous craft cocktails and a decent wine list. The menu has an abundance of vegetarian options, if that's what you're looking for, this is the place for you! Our thought was that the dishes are over thought, and that it would be lovely to have more options, especially for desserts.
2 ND visit really like the ambiance, and music! Lousy service this visit
We will be back!! Great food and atmosphere
A truly stunning experience! I booked a table there for my husband's birthday and invited three other couples. We had a blast. The service was excellent and the food is out of this world. I highly recommend it for a special event. It's a pretty pricey night out on the town but worth it if you're a foodie and like to dress up.
Server was MIA a majority of the meal. I'm legitimately surprised that we didn't die of dehdration. The server gave the food to the wrong people so the vegetrian of the group got a bowl full of pork grits which tainted their appetite.
Great ambience - sharing plates are very creative - quite expensive but high end. Service was a little slow but charming - nice bar - overall very good but pricey - great for special occasion
This was a great place. Wonderful atmosphere with good food and music. The staff was amazing as well!
Geraldine's is the swankiest place in town, with the best overall experience.
Food was great. support staff is what saved the day but our server was abysmal
Fine tuning of ambience, service and perfectly prepared food!
We greatly enjoyed our experience here (food/waitress/ambiance) until the very end when our waitress told us they needed our table for another reservation. Our reservation was at 10:15am and, to be fair, it took quite a while for our food to come out and we were really there to listen to the band which went on at 11. It was about 12 when we essentially were being asked to move to another table. It left a bad taste in our mouth with what we thought overall was a nice experience. We had a great table and were still paying customers. We didn’t make a big deal out of it since, yes, we had been there some time, but there were other tables open. It was just not a great way to end our first experience there.
Food, service and ambiance were excellent.
We were there with business guests. Everybody was really happy although some of them were uncertain doubting before. Next time in Austin for sure again!
Location is great. Not a lot of brunch choices for Gluten Free (Celiacs). No mimosa specials for brunch.
Great food, service. AND AWESOME BAND, THE ARGYLES!!!!!
Visiting Austin. Loved the restaurant Food and service was great. Portions could be a bit larger
Met another family for brunch following the Texas/USC game. Great atmosphere and comfortable/warm decor. Food was oustanding and the service was very good. had to wait a little longer than we would have liked to for our check to be brought to us, after we had declined any dessert, but overall, I would highly recommend this place.
Food was delicious and Service was outstanding. Definitely will come back again.
food was delicious, nice relaxing brunch.
The burrata, squash and filet were fantastic.
Quiet enough that we could have a great conversation.
Great food and drinks
We were in Austin for a family wedding and had the opportunity to get away for a little date night! It was raining outside, and we sat looking out at the rain at the pool, and the restaurant at night, which is also beautiful. We had great service and loved the menu . . . Very creative and tasty!
The Quinoa Breakfast salad was amazing and extremely unique! I would recommend it to anyone looking for something other than a heavy brunch item. The service was a little slow, I imagine it's because it was at the end of the brunch shift. But the drinks took a long time, water glasses were not re-filled, and we had a rouge blue-berry muffin that never came. Otherwise, this is a lively, aesthetically pleasing restaurant and a solid jazz brunch!
Our reservation was at 11am. We weren’t seated until 11:20. We did not have a single thing on our table until 11:50am! Almost an hour after our reservation. We waited 30+ minutes for crab toast. Toast. You toast bread and scoop some crab. Then we waited an additional 15 minutes for our entrees. The waitress apologized several times for the wait but didn’t really do anything about it. It was kind of busy so I understand to an extent but there’s no way it should be an hour before we get our drinks and appetizer. We will not be returning.
Had a fantastic Saturday brunch here with amazing live jazz band. Eggs Benedict was one of the best meals (if not the best) of my whole trip to Austin. Beautiful dining room and very friendly staff!
Food was amazing and I had two servers that were really attentive. A live band performed during brunch which was amazing!!! Will definitely come again!
Gluten free friendly with great service!
Small plates meant for sharing, we found portions size generous with what we ordered (roasted cauliflower, ‘ramen’ egg and gnocchi). Menu was creative and food well prepared. We also enjoyed the craft cocktails.
Loved absolutely everything we ordered. From apps, to dinner to drinks to dessert. A little pricy for amount of food you receive, but incredibly delicious.
The Hostess and server were helpful and friendly. Great ambiance, excellent food , & service. The live music was the cherry on top. I highly recommend this spot for a special occasion, date night, or meet up with friends. Great way to spend the evening in ATX!
First time here
My sister and I had a special date night catching up and enjoying the wonderful food and lovely atmosphere at Geraldine’s
Our server was so helpful with recommendations on wine ❤️
The food is great. Be aware that this is a small plate/tapas restaurant. Be prepared and willing to try several plates. Ambience is great and there is live music after 9:30 pm.
Went for lunch away but not far from the convention center and walk able. Would have had to wait to get in anywhere close so decided this might be a good option and it WAS! Great food, had the chicken salad and my partner had the blackened red fish. We were not disappointed! Need to try it if you haven't.
I was very disappointed because I had been to Geraldines several times for brunch, but dinner is a completely different restaurant. I was expecting dinner and what we got was tapas, if it was a tasting menu, they need to say that on their site. It was not worth the money, I spent 34 on two tapas and my friend spent $16 dollars for an egg, an egg!!! Additionally, you cannot call something a tapa or tasting, if it cannot be shared, how can you share one egg? It was also so loud, that we could not hear anything the server was saying and we could not talk to each other. Great bar, music and drinks, but for dinner, I would never come back. Brunch there is still so good though! Just sad because my friends came from out of town and we left to go eat at the food trucks after we eat here.
Creative and delicious dishes; however, potions are small and the menu is kind of pricey. Live music was great and the atmosphere was nice.
The service was terrible. I waited an hour for my food and then the server brought out the wrong food. I had changed tables and the server prior to the new sever cancelled my order. I believe she did this on purpose because I changed from her section. I apologized to her for moving but I was not comfortable sitting by the window because there were spider webs in the window. The manager came to check on us and I informed her that we had been waiting 40 minutes for our food . I saw her speak with the previous and current server ,she came back and informed me our ticket was just put in. Then she returned with the wrong food. My husband and I got up and walked out. Terrible service. I was upset we spent a hour 1/2 waiting for food. I was visiting Austin for my 20 th Anniversary. What a disappointment. Was looking forward to a romantic brunch with my Husband.
