   It was great! Really impressed with the service and the food. Drinks were also really good. Price wise not as expensive as I would’ve expected for the area - not complaining! The only thing was when we had to pay. There were 8 of us and we weren’t told until the end (once we asked for the check) that they could only do 4 cards and they had to be split 4 equal ways (their policy). Just told our server they should probably say that at the beginning just to be aware of.

   Went here to celebrate our anniversary. Outstanding service and great food! Must try the crispy potatoes and hibachi crudo. I made a special request for the table when making the reservation through OpenTable. They didn't accommodate it, which is fine. But it appears they didn't even read the instructions until we arrived at the restaurant. This was kind of a bummer.

    Last minute spot for Mother’s Day dining. I didn’t realize it was in a hotel and needless to say Geraldine’s didn’t disappoint at all. The vibe, music, good and service was great. I’ll be back!

    Great decor and incredible service but the food was pretty meh. Interesting ingredients and combos that sounded good on paper but didn't quite work on the plate. Tapas style but the plates are probably appropriate for a party of four. Felt like we over-ordered dining for two.

    Food was excellent and the service was good though not great. It seemed perhaps they were a bit short-staffed on a Sunday night and the restaurant wasn’t very full. That’s why it seemed strange when the hostess tried to seat us (party of 4) directly in front of the Sunday night DJ and his speakers. Huh? I immediately told her that wouldn’t work so she put us far from the DJ but seriously who would want that table besides people who had nothing to say to each other and/or were already deaf. Food and the server saved the meal though! Brussels sprouts and beet dishes were fantastic!

    It was beautiful, the menu was amazing, the service was excellent. Decent DJ… he was all over the place with the playlist and vibe but it did add to the experience not take away from it. The food was outstanding, worth every penny. I will be back most definitely

    My only complaint is that this was advertised as “Jazz brunch” but the music did not start until 11:30am. This was not disclosed when I made a 9am reservation. I was very disappointed

    Fabulous brunch of eggs Benedict, avocado toast, and brioche French toast followed by a couple hours of romantic jazz standards very tastefully arranged. An “11” day on a 1 to 10 scale! Yum yum yum!

    We enjoyed Saturday brunch with three generations of family members in town for UT's graduation weekend. The service, food and atmosphere were impeccable, as was the live music, which added to the ambiance without distracting from conversation.

    Jazz was great and the ambiance was good. Table of 5 was table for 4 and pull-up an extra chair. One napkin was dirty (had food on it) Coffee was cold (was freshened up) Food was fine but nothing special - we tried four items (chilaquiles, avacado toast, French toast and spicy chicken). The chicken was spicy (we can handle spice but this was a bit beyond our level). Parking was an issue - be prepared to valet for $14.00

    Greeted by the host and told Happy Birthday, which I appreciated. We got a great table for the jazz brunch and although service was slow, the food was tasty. I hoped they sent a little dessert or something since they were aware it was my bday, but no such luck. Overall, nice brunch.

    Service was a bit slow, our server had to keep apologizing for drinks and food not coming out, but otherwise it was fantastic! Noel, our server was the best! And the food was amazing as always. Thank you for accommodating one extra person at our table very last minute.

    My friend and I returned again to hear Kenny Williams serenade us with his silky smooth voice for Jazz Brunch, and he did not disappoint. However, the menu and the food have changed. The prices are still up there but the menu options are less appealing (very hard to find something that sounded good) and what was served was beyond disappointing. Breakfast/brunch items are the easiest type of food to satisfy and impress, and this did neither. My chilaquiles was a bowl full of fried -dry- tortilla triangles with a smattering of decorative white cheese sauce and one egg. I had to purchase another egg to make even part of it edible. My neighbor who got it barely touched hers. And my friend was sawing through his english muffin trying to get a bite separated to eat. I hope Geraldine's can fix this -recently changed- core issue before they lose all appeal as the only classy destination left on Rainey Street.

    This was our first experience in Geraldine’s. I think we were overdressed for the occasion but it was our anniversary. The place is a music venue oriented with an amazing waiter service. The drinks were good…we asked for appetizers and they came with our main entrée and then my husband entrée came separate. After trying the different flavors and we are very open to international cuisine we didn’t like them. My husband asked for the Texas Red Fish and I asked for the Mushrooms Ragú. Not recommended. I intentionally asked for the dessert menu to see if they acknowledged our anniversary but our waiter didn’t know or whatever…anyway she was so sweet and we left a good tip for her but not for the food. I believe Geraldine’s is good place to go and have some drinks, maybe an appetizer and enjoy the music. Their entrée are not recommended and make sure you don’t go in an special occasion.

    The food and service were impeccable. Our server was friendly and attentive and our food was delivered quickly. The hostess could have been more welcoming - her demeanor was not particularly friendly and she did not smile, but our overall experience was fantastic.

    Food and service were excellent. We wanted to sit outside but there is construction going on next door that took a little away from being outdoors. The Red fish and Brussels Sprouts were delicious. Cocktails were a little small of a pour.

    We loved our experience here! The space was beautiful, and the cocktails were great. Our server, Sierra, recommended delicious dishes and took amazing care of us. We started with the snack board and biscuits which were fantastic, then had the pork ribs, crispy potatoes, cacio e Pepe, and the real star of the show, the Brussel sprouts. They absolutely rocked our world, and I could’ve licked the plate clean. The only thing that could’ve been better was the pick up time on the cacio e Pepe. I wish we had ordered it as soon as we sat down, because it came at the end of our meal once we were already getting full. It’s nobody’s fault but it struck me as odd because we got the pork ribs almost as soon as we ordered them, and everything else shortly after, but had to wait throughout the whole dinner for the pasta. Sierra made sure we were well taken care of while we waited. Overall wonderful experience, and I can’t wait to come back for brunch!

    Myself and a group of friends came for a birthday brunch for the first time here. I was a little disappointed by the level of service for how nice the place is. Our waiter was nice, but he seemed very overwhelmed and rarely checked on us. The drinks and food were average, and the portions seem small for the price. I got an espresso martini and it had very little foam on it. All in all it was an average experience. I felt bad for my friend considering I planned this outing for his birthday and it was less than expected.

    First off our server was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and confident regarding the menu. There was five of us and on his recommendation we allowed him to help curate a tasting menu of 10 small plates which resulted in just a little more food than we needed. Nobody was left needing more. The plates canes in a perfect order starting with a light cucumber salad then hamachi crudo. We finished with hangar steak and crispy potatoes. Everything came with very creative sauces. Our group are all good industry people including a food scientist. Each of us found this meal to be the best we had in quite a while. The ambiance and design are a warm contemporary with a western vibe. As dinner was winding up a solo singer guitarist started and fora Tuesday night restaurant was surprisingly talented.     Overall I had a good experience at Brunch. Only thing I would suggest is a little more attention to detail. I did not have any silverware when my food arrived. I did not get spoons for our coffees. The overnight oatmeal was fantastic but the omelet was bland and tasteless. Maybe some more seasoning or a heated salsa to serve with it. I did also go in the evening before and felt completely unwelcome. Our entire party felt dismissed by the bartenders. Asked at 11.30pm if they were till serving? the response was a dismissive shrug and a comment we did not catch. I asked again and found that they were still serving. Surely our presence would be enough for the staff to know we wanted a drink but to then ask and still not be offered a drink was rather off putting. I assume that even though there were still dozens of people there and the band were still playing that they just wanted to go home. There is way to much competition in that area for this level of service.

    We made a very last minute reservation and we’re happy to find something on a Saturday night. The food was a big surprise - truly excellent, every dish! The pasta was fantastic, the brownie dessert incredible. Sad we didn’t get to see the live music but the band didn’t start until 10:00. A great dinner, all in all.

    Geraldine’s deserves a Michelin star rating. Each dish we chose was better than the next. The flavors were so complex and balanced. Execution was top notch. The hamachi crudo, broccolini, mushroom ragu and Texas redfish were all standouts.
