   We were warmly welcomed,fetted while we waited briefly for our table, a lovely wine picked for us, food arrived promptly &was delicious , loved ambience, not too noisy, great dessert and a custom made baby negroni. Lovely night made special thanks!

   The pork chop was excellent and so was the focaccia. The mozzarella appetizer and pasta for that night was okay, but the scallops with pesto risotto was inedible — it was just too bitter for our taste. Then, we had to pay for the dish we didn’t eat. The service was great but the ambiance was loud. We had a better experience the last time we were there.

   From the warm welcome to the final bite, everything was flawless. They made my boyfriend’s milestone birthday feel truly special. Great atmosphere, even better food. Thank you Osteria Savio Volpe for a memorable evening we'll recall for years to come.

   During our short stay in Vancouver I chose this restaurant as our one special dinner out. Food did not disappoint. The dungeness crab arancini was delicious and the asparagus scallops risotto was my favorite dish. However, to my surprise and disappointment, service from our waitress was really poor. We sat for a long time with menus and questions before she came to take our order. She was helpful with explanations and suggestions but several times during our meal we had to look for her including sitting with empty dishes for a while before I called over a busser who was attentive and cleared our table and brought desert menus. The restaurant was more casual than anticipated but had a nice family homestyle feel. Lots of buzz but no problem comfortably engaging in conversation with my dining companion. Overall a great meal.

   We finally got a chance to visit Savio Volpe last night and went for their "LET US COOK FOR YOU! DINE 'ALLA FAMIGLIA'" experience. Steve took extraordinary care of our group of four—truly exceptional service. My partner and I dine out regularly, and while Savio Volpe had been on our must-try list for a while, it definitely won't be our last visit. The service here isn't just 5 stars—it's easily 10 stars! Steve and the entire staff provided attentive, warm, genuinely welcoming, yet casually refined service. Simply brilliant! Now, onto the food. By choosing the family-style option, we allowed the kitchen to decide our dishes after Steve thoughtfully discussed our tastes, preferences, and dietary needs. Every dish was impeccable: fresh ingredients, flawless execution, and perfectly paced courses. Special mention has to go to the Smoked King Fish appetizer—it was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Quite honestly, it’s the best dish I've eaten in all of 2025! The only minor hiccup was parking, as I was a bit tight on time, but spaces are readily available if you give yourself a few extra minutes. Savio Volpe is genuinely a culinary gem. We’ll definitely return!

   Great service and loved the atmosphère/decor. Food was excellent - especially the burrata with pumpkin pesto.

    Came here tonight to celebrate our 7 year anniversary. This is my third time going to Salvio Volpe, all instances have been to celebrate special occasions such as my chill bachelorette dinner, last date before we had our first baby, and now a relationship anniversary that has stood the tests of long distance and pandemic. This is our first time going back since they’ve been acknowledged for bib gourmand. In terms of food and service I’m happy to say nothing has changed. Excellence on a plate exceeds our expectations in the best of ways, we love how they care and feauture local and seasonal ingredients into a fantastic meal. The Alla famiglia is the best value you can get. While there are some things that can be customized for dietary preferences, we honestly love the surprise of what comes out of the kitchen from start to finish. Reservations are recommended far in advance if you want to snag a weekend dinner slot but it’s honestly worth it. Not the last time we’ll be back and hope to come back again and celebrate many more memories soon.
