   Service was top tier, but some of the sides just tasted a little off to me. The steaks were delicious, the fries were amazing, perfectly crisp. We ordered the chimichurri sauce and the pepper sauce, but they were just not good. The bill for 2 came out to $500 total and we just didn’t feel like we ate $500 food. Not sure I would come back, except to give the chefs omakase a try

   I had the pleasure of visiting this local steakhouse with the kids and I must say that it was quite an experience for them. As a steak lovers, the kids (teenagers)had high expectations for this renowned establishment, and for the most part, they delivered. First and foremost, the ambiance of the restaurant was a claiming environment. The interior was modern and stylish, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. The dim lighting added a touch of elegance, making it an ideal place for a special occasion or a very fancy first date as what the kids called it. The attentive and friendly staff were also a highlight, our server was awesome! He was very helpful with the kids and very informative, providing excellent service throughout the meal. The steaks here are the star of the show! They definitely knows how to cook a mean steak. We got the signature dry-aged ribeye, Australian wagyu, and New York wagyu, and it was all cooked to perfection. The meat was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Each bite was melt in your mouth and it was evident that the chef paid great attention to detail in preparing the dish. The menu changes with the seasons which is great allowing customers to experience fresh and local ingredients. In addition to the steak, the menu offered a variety of appetizers, sides and desserts! I highly recommend trying their crème brûlée and Mexican mocha coffee --they were both scrumptious and complemented the end of our meal beautifully. The chef gave our table extra dessert on the house (the kids ate them before I could even get pictures) and just for a little fun they also give bubble gum cotton candy. The presentation of the dishes was also commendable, as each plate was artfully arranged. If your looking for a something locally or just looking to take your teen to experience a streak house for a special occasion this is a place that is worth the experience and facial expressions that your kids will give you :)

   I can’t say enough about how amazing our experience was at Alexander’s Steakhouse. From the minute we were greeted, til we left, we were treated with the most excellent service. The server, the assistants, the food, everyone and everything was incredible. The explanations about the food (which was so tasty, cooked perfectly, and served beautifully), were spot on. The hamachi shots were exquisite. I had the Australian wagu filet, which was melt in your mouth tasty. The sides were delightful (we had the mashed potatoes, which had just the perfect amount of butter in them). We will definitely be back!

   Came for son’s bday celebration and ordered American and Australian wagyu along with scallops. Ribeyes were flavorful but texture seemed a bit tough given we asked for medium…especially on Australian ribeye with bone. Oyster appetizers and sides of potato and fries hit the spot. Very disappointed in vegetables though as feta cheese totally overwhelmed this side dish. Birthday card was nice touch by restaurant but we had to remind server it was birthday celebration as he forgot to bring out complimentary dessert. Overall a bit disappointing…

   First of all, I think, for the first time going to Alexander ‘s we should’ve sat inside we sat outside, so I didn’t get the whole dining experience with them. Service at the beginning was great and went downhill from there. Order was incorrect. Food was way too salty. The drinks were amazing. It’s definitely a place I’d go back for a drink maybe an appetizer. I consider did a one and done restaurant, I hope you all have better luck than I did

    I recently had another excellent experience at Alexander's in Pasadena. The food and service and ambiance are great, but the real reason I keep coming back is the deep selection of high-end whiskey and the unpretentiousness of the bartending staff about it.     I dined alone and decided to stay at the bar. Kenny the Bartender was so nice to keep me company almost the whole dining experience. Food was good, opted for kansas 20oz dry aged, since it has lesser fat but of course a bit firm than ribeye. Everything else exceptional. Alexander's has always been a fave. ❤️, Sharon

    Alexanders review I came here with my family for my brother’s birthday and had an amazing time. We had a party of 6 and even though everyone was late (including the birthday boy by an hour), we were treated very nicely and were never rushed. Our server Laurencio (I think), took AMAZING care of us. He was very engaging and helped my mom feel special. She doesn’t speak English and generally doesn’t feel included when we take her to nicer places, but this time our server (who also spoke Spanish) went way above and beyond to make her feel included. He explained every course, had great drink suggestions, it was simply the VERY best dining experience I think we’ve ever had. The spring tasting menu was a really great part of the experience. It was 6 courses and every course was a delight in its own way. The first course was a tartar on a crispy roll topped with caviar. The hamachi shots were excellent and the pea soup… was just pea soup. The shrimp dumpling was tasty despite being covered with foam, and the duck was super tender and delicious. The surf and turf was very, very good, and we all received great sized portions of wagyu. The dessert was also a great course and my brother got a great fruit tart at the end, as well as a few more treats and the cotton candy. My family and I absolutely love coming here and experiences like this just really remind us of why it’s such a great restaurant. Every time we come here, we are treated well, the food is excellent and each experience is just amazing, especially if you’re getting the tasting menu!

    Horrible Steaks! Especially the Wagyu! Unbelievably tough and chewy. It felt like they served us cheap meat from some grocery store. May be my standards and expectations were too high. One of the Filets was ordered medium well and they brought it as almost just raw, not even rare. And we sent it back to be recooked and they brought it back more than well done this time! Burned! Unreal. Will never ever ever go to this place again

    Absolutely a fantastic place for a steak or Japanese food with great liquor selection. Steaks are just amazing with lots of choices and options and even their bread is unique and to die for. Probably the best steakhouse outside of Beverly Hills. Highly recommended.
