Easily accessible from many NYC subway lines and local bus routes.
Promptly seated for a Saturday pre-show dinner. This spot was convenient to mid-town hotel and walking distance to the theater district. Service was excellent; food was very good, even tho' menu options are abbreviated. 2 drinks, 2 entrees, 1 appetizer, 1 side-dish + tip = $185
It was a very nice evening with a great meal. Very good steaks and nice slides!
Exceptional staff and food!!!!
We went as a dinner for just 2 after we said I Do at city hall.... would of been nice if the restaurant gave a complimentary drink/wine bottle or dessert. Wish tables were a little bit more private, I can see every table and vice versa. But overall cute and cozy, delicious steak/food, and attentive staff!
Quite decent place where is close to the center of New York.
Smaller menu but done well. Steak was excellent, salads were tasty, and the side were delicious. Fish was spot on. House wine was very good. Expensive, but this is a steakhouse.
Overall, I was disappointed in the Wolfgang’s Boutique restaurant, a newer Wolfgang’s restaurant serving steak in the style of Peter Lugers. The venue is small and gets crowded and noisy very quickly. The wine list is limited w the first (of about 3 pages) featuring wines in the mid 3 figures and a few 4 figure price tags w/o sufficient choices in more moderate price ranges. The steak was Eh- I’ve had better and i’ve had
worse. Service was substandard for a NYC Steakhouse- we ordered creamed spinach and received sauté ‘d spinach.....definitely healthier but not what we ordered. When it came time to pay the check it took much too long to get our credit cards back- many of us were trying to catch a train home and didn’t anticipate how much time was required to finalize our bill; admittedly we were paying w a mixture of cash and a few credit cards so we expected to wait a bit longer.....but I expect that steakhouses are used to more complicated payments from large groups (6 friends) and should have accommodated us in under the 15minutes it took to get our cards back.
Great food and friendly staff! Wine was wonderful and atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable!
My favorite place in NYC for steak and seafood. Simply amazing in every way. They know how to take care of you and everyone I bring with me raves about it afterwards. I try to go at least once per month. Bravo Wolfgang!
Wolfgang’s quality across the board and conveniently located nears Geand Central. Service was great.
Service was abrupt, especially regarding menu requests. This was a business lunch and I felt the service could have been more polished. If the answer is no on a substitution request-there is a right way to deliver that message. Will pick other places next time.
The service was just as amazing as the food 😍 can’t stop thinking about the creamed spinach.
Been here many times. Food and service is great Always try to eat here when I am in the neighborhood
Our server Ilya took care of a group of 10 guys out in Manhattan for a bachelor party. We got a special price on a magnum of Faust Cabernet Sauvignon and it was so good we ordered a second later on. We ordered seafood for 5 to start with and steak for 7 for the dinner. One guy doesn't like steak and he got fish. The staff treated us very well, the food was excellent and ordered in the right amount for our group and I would recommend Wolfgang's to others.
Excelent meal. Nice athmosphete. Warm and efficient staff
It was quiet due to summers in NYC but service was excellent and we were a large group and they let us linger without rushing us but no one was waiting for the table either. Food was very good. Huge Filet Mignon's which were probably the best value on the menu so be prepared. Porterhouse was very good too. Ribeye not the best. Overall enjoyed it and will be back again.
The steak was not at a level for a restaurant like Wolfgang
The Porterhouse for 3 - so yummy. Perfectly cooked. Nice salty char in the outside. Creamed spinach and mashed potatoes and bottle of Chateau St Jean. Topped it off with the Key Lime Pie. Awesomeness.
Excellent dinner. Bacon, Tomahawk Steak and the Sundae were as excellent and what I’ve come to expect from Wolfgang’s.
Very good experience!
Went to celebrate my sister's graduation with 6 people. They were able to sit us promptly. The food was nothing short of phenomenal and flavorful. Would highly recommend.
this restaurant is a favorite but note that the lunch menu has more variety and choices
When I crave a steakhouse experience, I wind up here at Wolfgang’s. The Wolfgang Salad has shrimp and chopped veggies and huge cubes of their uberthick bacon- it’s incredibly delicious, crunchy and salty and creamy all at the same time. The steak for two is enough for three, and it’s always perfectly cooked, the meat extremely high quality. The veggies are always spot on, whether it’s the steamed asparagus or the creamed spinach, and the fried potatoes seem to be butter basted-I normally prefer just baked potatoes with salt and pepper, but these potatoes are crack in the form of a vegetable. The apple strudel for dessert came with a ton of not-too-sweet apple filling enrobed in shatteringly crisp strudel pastry, alongside a mound of freshly prepared whipped cream. Wait staff is experienced and professional with a touch of wink/wink NYC humor. I like this location because the room is small and the din is never overwhelming, unlike most other steak houses here in the city. I unreservedly recommend it to jaded New Yorkers and visitors alike.
Excelente servicio y comida
Great steaks, wine and service in a relaxing atmosphere
It was a very small restaurant. The food was good but not extraordinary.
My ribeye was very chewy and fatty. I always eat a ribeye and this one was sub- par. Red wine by the glass options are really substandard. 2016 cabernet is unacceptable if I'm eating a $55 steak.
We heard that Wolfgang is one of the finest restaurants in NYC and that they serving really great meats. The ribs was the best that I had bet the rib eye was just ok and when I pay $55 I expect better than that.
Came here for the porterhouse steak like most (korean) nyc tourists do and was not disappointed! Also, they fulfilled my last minute request to bring us a cake that said “congratulations”, and I was able to surprise my sister and celebrate her getting accepted into her dream school. Overall a great night.
this location is much smaller than the larger Wolfgang locations. we thought it would make for a more intimate date night out but the service was very poor ... waiter seemed disinterested, forgot our appetizer, forgot the bill, was not to be seen most the night.
the food was very good as usual but poor service overshadowed the evening.
obviously may cater to hotel crowd from the hotel it is located in, but would not recommend this location.
We had porter house for 6 and and lamb rack. The meat was amazing but the sauces weren’t great. It wasn’t too expensive for manhattan and plenty of food. Definitely would go again!
I would have rated higher but I was not expecting this place to be so small. I will try one of his stand alone places next time. Every thing was great but you were eating in a small Hotel restaurant.
Was visiting NYC for the weekend. Wolfgang’s came high
One Of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Amazing salad. Good onion rings. Ruined by the 25 minutes I sat after I was done with my steak that no one checked in with me. No offer of dessert. No offer of more water. Or an aperitif. No nothing until finally I had to flag someone down and ask for the bill. The waiter and staff had been great and then POOF it was as if I was invisible. And the restaurant wasn’t packed so.....
Had dinner on new year's eve. The steak for two was delicious, and the cottage chips as well. Service was welcoming and efficient
NEw years eve
Absolutely incredible service and meal. Went here to celebrate engagement and were not disappointed. We ordered from the wine list and had the porterhouse steak. Highly recommended.
The food was excellent. Service was excellent. Wine selection way overpriced. +$300 For 2 people is just ridiculous.
