   Good place for our anniversary dinner. Porterhouse was delicious and shareable. Not sure if the a/c was broken but it was so hot in there. Service was great and server knew all the things. Atmosphere was like fancy fun. So neat to have a dj for the music. Overall 4/5

   Our server Hannah was great! Offered some awesome recommendations. The support staff were very attentive as well!

   We recently visited STK for Mother’s Day brunch, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. The concept of a bottomless brunch was poorly communicated and executed, leaving us confused and frustrated. We were not given clear instructions on how it worked, and it felt disorganized throughout. Additionally, the restaurant seemed significantly understaffed. Service was slow, and it was clear the staff was overwhelmed, despite the restaurant being only half full. The hostess staff, in particular, was inflexible and unaccommodating when we requested adjustments to our seating, even though many tables remained empty. To make matters worse, the food itself was bland and underwhelming. It didn’t taste fresh and seemed like it could have come from microwaveable quick meals rather than a quality restaurant. Given the reputation of STK, we expected a more seamless and enjoyable experience, especially on a day meant to celebrate. We left feeling disappointed and wouldn’t recommend the brunch experience based on this visit.

   Had to wait 45 mins to be seated with a reservation. Music was way too loud. The food was sub par at best. Steaks overcooked and no flavor Corn dish was mush ladies bathroom nasty long wait for check prices too high for level of food quality and service will not return.

   The food was EXCELLENT! I also felt the food was very over priced even though it was tasty. We made a reservation and still had to wait 30min for our table, we did arrive 10min early btw. While the decor and lighting was nice the seating was horrible. It was just a very standard almost cafeteria style table and chairs. For a $500 bill that should not have been. It was also not very spacious at all. I feel like the restaurant values quantity over quality when it comes to your experience. Food was great, but would not go back or recommend. I value my experience just as much as the food.

   Food great. Love the DJ. Pretty in the inside. Enjoyed myself. My mom loved it for Mothers Day.

   I’m writing to express how truly disappointed, hurt, and honestly, outraged I am by the experience my family had at STK Chicago this Mother’s Day. What should have been a celebration turned into an hour-long ordeal that felt less like hospitality and more like outright disrespect. We had a 5:30 p.m. reservation—confirmed, planned in advance—yet somehow, my party and at least two other families were all booked for the exact same time. Rather than being welcomed in, we were left standing for nearly an hour. My mother, a woman we were there to honor, had no seat, no comfort, no explanation. There was no proper lobby seating, just a crowded front area that felt more like a nightclub line than an upscale dining establishment. Even more disturbing: everyone left waiting was Black or Brown. That detail is impossible to ignore. It wasn’t just disorganization—it was a complete lack of care for us. We were treated like we didn’t matter. Like second-class patrons. Would this have happened if the crowd looked different? The optics spoke volumes. There were no sincere apologies. No manager checking in. Instead, we were offered shots—as if that would somehow make up for the degrading experience of being left standing like we were invisible. It felt less like hospitality and more like appeasement—like we were expected to drink and forget how we were being treated. To add to the chaos, the valet stand out front is misleading. There’s no valet service—just a structure from the past still sitting there, unstaffed, giving false expectations of support. I had to scramble to find parking through SpotHero. I couldn’t extend my time, and by the time we were finally seated and got our food, I had to leave immediately afterward. I didn’t even get to enjoy my meal. I paid to sit, rush, and leave. It was a disaster. And the worst part? It didn’t have to be. A simple acknowledgment, a seat for our mothers, some dignity and care, would’ve gone a long way.

   One Star – Never Again. I had high hopes for STK Chicago, but this place was all hype and no substance. It was ridiculously overcrowded—felt more like a nightclub than a steakhouse. You could barely hear yourself think, let alone have a conversation. The food? Completely overrated and overpriced. A $70 steak should at least be memorable—not chewy and bland. Portions were small, and the service was nothing to brag about either. If you’re looking for a relaxed, fine-dining experience, keep walking. There are way better spots in Chicago where you can get quality food without paying for the “vibe.” STK is a hard pass for me.

    We had a awesome experience and staff was excellent considering it was Mother’s Day. They handled the over flow patrons with respect and showed alot of patience with each individual
