   We had an amazing meal at Bellini last night! The food was delicious and the service was even better. We enjoyed delicious bread and caprese salad, the best balsamic vinegar on the table, and delicious pasta and chicken dishes. The servers were attentive and wonderful!

   Michael was a fabulous waiter, enough attention but not hovering. All of our dishes were amazing & the 5 of us made our way from Appetizer’s to deserts. Stand-outs for us were the carb cake (special), gnocchi (Amazing!), calamari, the bruschetta (a must) veal ravioli (excellent) & the chicken parmigiana (exactly how you remember)- The cod fish was excellent too, but the risotto was under seasoned & not as hot as it could be. The noise level was rather high for our business discussion towards the end of our meal, but everyone was very pleased with the experience overall! It’s definitely a repeat for me when I return to Philly! The owner/mgr was very responsive & helpful to our needs & requests, which did not go unnoticed.

   Client came in from Ohio to prepare for a deposition. We were lucky to get reservations at Belini. Both clients are lawyers. They said they would return to Philadelphia just to eat dinner at Belini again, enough said. I concur.

   We were running late for our appointment and notified the restaurant ahead of time. It was a busy Saturday night, but they were able to get us seated immediately even being 30 minutes late. Great service and very good food!

   always good food, excellent service from Michael. My chicken Mediterranean was new and especially good. Need smaller portions so i have room for dessert. a prix fix menu with dessert would be really nice.

   Best last minute birthday dinner!! Was in Philly for a night for my birthday and wanted Italian and Bellini did not disappoint. Our waiter informed us that their espresso martinis were the best and he did not steer us wrong-it was a phenomenal end to an amazing dinner

    Food was good. The gnocchi gorgonzola was fantastic. Lovely service. However, we had a major problem with the wine. We ordered a super Tuscan (listed without vintage or winery on the menu). They brought the wine and showed the label but we had no way to know if it was correct. After it was opened and poured, we checked the back. It was a basic red blend from a different region. Felt conned. Buyer beware.

    Great service with Mike He recommended the halibut special which was excellent The gnocchi, Bellini chicken with scallops and salmon my guests had were equally good. We saved enough room for desert can’t go wrong with their chocolate mousse, crème brûlée or tiramisu. Will definitely go back

    I’ve driven by this place 1000 times over the last 20+ years and simply never stopped in. I’m sure sorry I never went before now. The restaurant is excellent. Food is interesting and delicious, service is great. Can’t wait to go back.

    This is a wonderful little find in Center City. Enjoyed a small salad with beets and cheese to start. My wife enjoyed the Tortelloni Affumicati which had a good filling of goat cheese with the chicken. I had the Gnocchi di Gorgonzola which melted in my mouth. The gorgonzola sauce was really good and not overpowering. Enjoyed some wine with the dinner and had terrific service.

    Awesome dinner and ambiance. We went is as strangers in a new restaurant, and left feeling part of the family. Laughs with the staff, other diners, and superb food at good prices. I was all set to order the duck, and then, Juan, our waiter recited special after special that truly intrigued. I ended up changing my mind, ordered the diver sole and never looked back. We’ll be back again —soon— to try all the other dishes we were considering!! Love this place!

    Bellini was a night of perfection!!! From the first step through the door to when we left the service was fantastic and the food/drinks were great. We started with the special shrimp app which was delicious. Fresh bread and pasta all made from scratch was impeccable. It was a great night and I can’t wait to go back!

    This was a beautiful restaurant with amazing service and food. The ceiling is a huge and beautiful painting. The waiter we had was perceptive and attentive. The food was great and the waiter made sure we knew how to reheat our leftovers properly

    My experience with Bellini was phenomenal. It was my first time at this restaurant along with my girlfriend. From beginning to end the service was great along with the food! we were treated very nicely by staff and the food was served hot and in a timely manner!

    Bellini is one of my default restaurants and I must say the meal I had there last night was exceptional. There was a special menu for the super bowl and the items were done magnificently. One that especially stood out was an appetizer shrimp Pernod. The chef had not made it in 20 years but put it on for this weekend and it was outstanding it was like being in Paris. The also entree was a rack of lamb in a reduction sauce which was also to die for.

    The positives: the Bellini salad was excellent (and a very large portion). Lightly dressed with a quality olive oil, and the orange slices on the bottom of the plate added to the refreshing taste of the salad. Chocolate mousse was huge - plenty for two to share. Wine list was small but well considered for the cuisine offered. Service was rough but the plates arrived as ordered, the extra plates came without asking, water was refilled regularly and used plates were bussed in a timely fashion. Location is great if attending a show in the area. The negatives: Nothing was bad, but none of the three dishes we ordered (and shared) were very good. The Branzino had a weird vinegary sauce on top, and the fish had some age on it, making us wonder about the source of the vinegary taste. The veal livornese was poorly sauced - an undercooked flour based gravy with little flavor. Tasted kind of like canned turkey gravy with some extra flour thrown in. The veal itself was tender and properly cooked. We also had the ravioli special, which was promised to be homemade pasta stuffed with seafood and sauced with a lemon crema. To me the filling tasted like supermarket crabcake - heavy on the breading and light on the seafood. The pasta texture was good, though, and the sauce was interesting. All in all, I would not return. There are too many other great Italian choices in Philadelphia to settle for boring food.
