Was recommended to go here for the view and had requested a window seat .. they did not honor it although there were many available when we got there and throughout the entire dinner ... we rarely saw our waiter and for the price and what was supposed to be an “amazing experience” was sub par . Definitely would not recommend for a must .
Totalmente recomendable.
Wonderful view, very good food, relaxed atmosphere and pleasant staff. We would certainly recommend for any type of celebration or just to treat yourself.
Fantastic view, they accommodated our special request at short notice.
Great food and cocktails! Awesome view and service! Reasonable given location
Amazing worth the money
Pricey but a New York icon. Good for some really good bar appetizers and a couple of drinks.
Meal with a view, good food, a great place to celebrate an occasion.
Gorgeous food, we had a selection of the small plates and was delicious especially the Scallop and salmon. The views are amazing and service very attentive.
Unbelievable views and great menu options! Would certainly return here again!
We had a wonderful time. The service was great , food good, and great atmosphere. The view was spectacular.
Get a breathtaking view of NYC from the top of Rockefeller Center at Bar 65. A reservation is a must, but well worth the effort!
From start to finish this place disappointed. Staff ( apart from Whitney who did at least try to help) were ill trained, dismissive of issues and downright rude. They failed on every level from seating request ( booked 2 months in advance) to serving wrong drinks. If you wish to put my wine in a bucket across the aisle from our table then you have to be alert to serving needs, we ended up serving ourselves due to lack of staff attentiveness. When we complained they said they would put it right, they duly delivered an ice bucket saying a treat was on its way, but alas that only came in the form of the duty manager who failed to grasp the issue , he sounded like a pre recorded robot, no personal touch at all. We asked for his name and he merely gave us ' Jeanette's' business card, nice guy throwing his colleague under the bus!
Never ever go near this place, over priced and under serviced! Oh, and that treat ice bucket was only ever filled with ice ! Beyond unbelievable !
Drinks were not good which is sad since the name is Bar65. View is incredible and ambiance is lovely and romantic. It's just too bad that what could be a great experience with a talented bartender is just a let down. I wanted to have 2 and maybe even 3 drinks since I wouldn't be driving but unfortunately my first drink was so bad I couldn't finish it. I ordered a very expensive Cosmo.
We had a lovely meal there last night for our anniversary, we even had some special attention and our dessert was on the house!
Was one of the highlights of our trip 😁
Fantastic food, great drinks, prices appropriate for the setting and the incredible views.
Although the menu was limited, the food, service and the staff was exceptionally professional.
Wonderful staff! Several of them came over to wish me a happy birthday. Lovely Venue and great drinks
no es el lugar más refinado, pero su vista ez una expdriencia increible, aún con mal clima.
I think the best part may have been the coat check. The view is great but the place is a little stuffy. Our server was slow to take orders and slow to bring them out, and brought out an item we didn’t order which then ended up on our tab. One entree was so poorly seasoned we couldn’t eat it. The manager was very gracious in attempting to resolve the problem which we greatly appreciated and the service was friendly although slow and seemingly unorganized. The view was great and so was the variety of vegan options. Glad to see the view. Not sure we’ll be back.
We had a reservation for 8:15 on a Sunday (after the NYC Marathon). I was very excited as this NYC icon has been on my bucket list for quite awhile and we were celebrating my birthday.
We were seated and delighted to have a window table. We ordered cocktails and after relaxing for a bit, we asked to place an order for some food only to be informed that the kitchen closed at 9 and there would not be any food orders placed. Very disappointed as we were hungry and no one advised us that the kitchen would be closing. I expressed my frustration to both the server and manager on duty - of course, nothing to be done at that point and we left to go find someplace else to celebrate.
Excellent pkace to have a drink with outstanding view!
The location is outstanding with great views. The staff friendly and attentive.
The only downside for us was , given that the restaurant called to confirm my booking and confirmed a dress code, was that there were many people in the venue below the level confirmed to us. Many in jeans and tee- shirts and not the “dress to impress “ of the website.
Either have a dress code or don’t
great spot! we loved the view and the service !
drink menu was limited however, the atmosphere was lively and vibrant !
We had cocktails and dinner as the sunset on our last night in New York. A great view of all Manhattan. Would definitely visit again
Great service, great food, great view but what went wrong with cocktail ?! 20$ for some rhum and pineapple juice full of ice... That's not what I expected from such place... Still 4 stars tho but do something for it please !!
Lovely views, disappointed by others in the drink area blocking the outside view when we were at a seated table. Views and service was very good. A lovely touch wishing us a happy anniversary dessert.
The place is really beautifull. Good music and very excelent food. We just order the small platers (smoked salmon...; nitro tuna; and the crab toast). The desert “alaska” is really good!
Very good experience but to noisy and table is to small for 3 people.
Great venue great view just really disappointing that after dinner when we wanted to go outside for photos they had closed it ..... would be nice to advise diners if it’s going to close
Too many tourists. No dress code. Too many people dressed down in what is supposed to be a prime spot for cocktails and views.
The service was great. But I don’t want to see people in sneakers and jeans at this lovely location.
Wonderful place! Views are amazing and whilst the drinks are slightly on the expensive side, it’s great value given the location. Can’t wait to go again!
Everything was great the food the waiter and the atmosphere. But people was constantly coming in front of our table blocking our view of the scenery. I hated that🤬
Prachtig uitzicht over Manhattan vanaf 70e etage.
Bediening was wisselend. Onze serveerster leek er die avond voor het eerst te werken.
Maaltijd was goed, wijn ook.
The view were fantastic and the service was good. Next time we will visit the Rainbow Room for dinner. I nice experience for my son's 21st BD
Staff are fantastic, the food was good too although the menu isn’t very big. Pricey but the view is worth it.
We were sat facing New Jersey and couldn't see any of the view the place is famous for (I understand someone has to sit there I just didn't even know tables without the breathtaking views existed so had high expectations that were disappointed). Service was friendly but took a long time. I would kindly suggest bringing a bread basket when people order the cheese plate, charcuterie and crudite tower. We got four tiny slices for five people and when we asked for more it took twenty minutes to bring four more tiny slices for five people. It's a detail but unnecessarily taints the experience.
More than disappointed. Our server, Evgenia (and I only know her name because I looked at our receipt) was rude, unwelcoming and inattentive. We were celebrating our 20 year anniversary which was noted on our reservation and could t have made a worse choice of venues. We were seated promptly but then waited 10 minutes before evgenia walked up and asked us what we wanted. No hello, no introduction just what do you want. We waited another 10 to get our drinks and then she asked if we wanted food. Before we could answer she flipping walked away. Then she did t bother to even check on us for the duration of our stay. So rude. We only tipped her because we were goi g to go to the bar and didn’t want the same less than optimal service Incase she decided to retaliate. The prices are ridiculous for a glass of mediocre wine that wasn’t even a full pour was $20. While I expect high prices, I’d also expect an average or better pour. The view is great but the service was awful. Even our copayrins yo our left and right we’re Annoyed by her lack of service. She definitely needs some retracing and a reminder in who pays her paycheck.
Too noisy, if you don’t get a table near the window, you’ll have people from the bar area leaning into you trying to take photos. It’s just okay - they should have a separate dining area, away from the bar. Romantic view, shame about ambiance.
