   Visiting from out of town and this is a great place for great views and even greater food. The service was nice and the food quality definitely match the price point. If visiting San Fran again I would visit this steakhouse.

   Had another great dinner at Epic, seated on the outdoor patio overlooking the Bay Bridge. My sister and I split the calamari appetizer, Caesar salad, and desert. Our main courses were halibut and lamb chops - both delicious. We started with cocktails, and followed up with a glass of wine. Service could not have been more attentive. It is definitely a splurge meal, but worth it on occasion.

   My boyfriend has been wanting to dine here for a while and I finally made a reservation for us to go. We couldn’t have picked a better evening as it was clear skies until sunset (thanks Karl for cooperating) so we were able to take advantage of the view during our meal. We started with the peach fuzz for our drinks and it’s one of the best nonalcoholic beverages I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Also, THANK YOU for having mocktails and not just soda and lemonade for non drinkers. Next, we had the Caesar salad. Delish. Then for our mains I had the petite filet and the Julia child potatoes. YUM! My boyfriend had the NY strip, half lobster, and potato purée. I had a bite of his potato purée and it’s one of the best orders of mashed potatoes I’ve ever had at a restaurant. And although we were stuffed, we still made room for dessert. I had the Meyer lemon bar. OMG it was so good. I don’t even like lemon desserts that much but I’d order that again in a heartbeat. My boyfriend had the strawberry shortcake sundae and he LOVED it! The food was incredible, the ambiance is beautiful (great view of the bay bridge from all tables in the dining room), our server was great. EPIC lives up to the hype and then some!

   Don’t get sucked in by the Mastros and Morton’s. This place is the real deal. Must go if you are in SF. Service was amazing as well.

   Service was amazing! The meats are all subpar cuts for that kind of price. Veggie sides were good, Mac n cheese was too heavy on the truffle oil. A bit salty. Not awful, just for 600 dollars for 4 people,you would expect a better experience. Setting is beautiful. Servers were great! Desert was flat. Go.for cocktail app and the view, dine somewhere else. I have been there before and had better experience . Might be slipping

    Really lovely evening sitting out on the patio with views of the water and Bay Bridge. Server and manager were professional though not fully engaged, until the end when they surprised us with a beautiful dessert for our anniversary. Bread, bufalo cheese, and clam chowder were a delicious way to start. I loved my filet with blue cheese— cooked perfectly and flavorful. My husband said his rib eye was “average “. Drinks were good, view at dusk fantastic. Though cool outside, much nicer and quieter than more crowded indoor tables. They struggled with keeping our heat lamps on, so occasionally needed to pull on jackets— they worked hard to keep them going. Great night out!

    The food was brilliant. There was cilantro on the glazed carrots.. for some reason (i have the gene). The desert menu looked brilliant, what came out was not. Its not made on-sight so keep that in mind. If the EPIC kitchen made it, you're gonna love it.

    Always great experience at Epic Steak. We always sit outside because we bring our dog and even on the coldest evenings they do a great job of keeping us warm with all the heat lamps. They also brought some tasty homemade snacks for our pooch.

    Our server Ellena ( forgive me if I spelled your name wrong) she was amazing. Accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly, and funny gave us option which are the signature dish and all the best. Good portion and very flavorful! We sat outside weather wasn't the best. They started heat lamp balance the heat was very comfortable. Dessert Hungary sweet wine a must try!!

    It was the most buttery Wagyu steak we've tasted! Filet mignon was also very tender and flavorful. It was expensive but it's worth it. Service staff were all attentive and super friendly. There were so many groups celebrating birthdays. A great place for romantic dinner or a group celebration.

    Poor experience, steak arrived uncooked. We ordered one steak medium well and another well done, both arrived mostly rare. Midway through the meal we had to inform another waiter who immediately acknowledged the situation and took the plates back to re-cook them. Presentation when the food came back was ugly. Service was subpar and our main waiter was nowhere to be seen. A good waste of 200 dollars. I would never recommend this place.

    We had a lovely twenty year anniversary celebration dinner at EPIC Steak which started off with complementary champagne and a card, signed by all staff. We chose to go with the "everything" menu and so glad we did since we were able to share the sides family style. The glazed bay carrots were amazing as was the EPIC steak sauce and chimichurri that complmented our filet and NY steaks so well. Inside dining was the better choice for us but could see coming back for an outdoor afternoon brunch experience.

    For the first time being there I wish our waiter would have took the time to explain the menu some or recommendations ect. We felt rushed to order and our waiter was not very friendly. Overall the location and restaurant was amazing. The view was stunning.

    My husband and I went to Epic for our anniversary and we were treated so well! Great table with a view of the Bay Bridge. Upon seating us, they gave us a card signed by all the employees wishing us happy anniversary and verbally wished us well too, and upon presenting the dessert menu they informed us that a dessert was on the house (which then came out with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate on the plate!). Great food, great service, would highly recommend. We had an exceptional meal and experience!

    Had a celebratory lunch here on the patio. I was afraid it would be cold but sat under a heat lamp and was not cold at all. The bread was warm and delicious, the sides were small but Julia’s potatoes and the mushrooms were really yum. A couple of the steaks were overcooked, they readily redid the one we complained about but it took another 20 min. . I ordered medium-well and my steak was very well done, dry, and a bit hard but I just ate it rather than wait again. The backdrop of the water and bay bridge is lovely, the location and ambiance can’t be beat and the service was stellar so overall a wonderful experience.
