   I’d been to Jimmy in the past, but decided to have some drinks for my birthday. What a great time! Excellent service! The drinks were amazing, food was great and the music was a perfect mix of everything that everyone was able to dance. Highly recommend during the week and on the weekends.

    I wish the maragrita pizza was bigger. It was 18 dollars, it should of been a large pizza bread for at least 2 people. Swimming pool was ok. Just dont know what days to go in it.

    My partner and I decided to cap off our Pride weekend at the Jimmy and enjoy a couple of drinks on their rooftop deck. Views were amazing. Drinks were a bit pricey for what they were but it’s a rooftop bar in NYC so it was expected. Unfortunately as we walked through after checking in with the door guy, some “host” starting screaming saying “don’t let DUDES in without females unless they have a reservation.” Of course we had a reservation, but to think that we’d be refused entry if we didn’t was pretty shocking to hear (it was just my partner and me at this point-and yes we’re both dudes). I’m sure the Jimmy is not ANTI-GAY so I won’t go there. But this obviously left us with a horrible first impression and sadly set the tone for our experience. We stayed for one drink and decided to spend our “dude” money elsewhere.

    No atmosphere. Better views else where. Staff depressed, tight dresses dragging around heavy boots on feet wearing sunglasses on a dull evening with rain starting. Asking for I'd in lobby lift. And holding hostage credit cards. Bad practice taking away card. Totally disappointed. Way better places elsewhere Watched others down drink and leave.

    The view was breathtaking and amazing ! Went there on a Tuesday afternoon and it was super packed ! The drinks were pricey but the ambiance, the view and the atmosphere were top rated ! We had so much fun !

    I’m not exactly sure how you’d make a reservation for table then receive a confirmation table to arrive with your guests and hostess tell you that it’s for “first come, first serve”. Even if it’s reserved through Open Table. She was absolutely rude, and only there to sell tables to larger groups. She also ushered us to table in the corner with a hostess who didn’t even come back for 30 mins to take our first round of drinks. If it wasn’t for the amazing dj we would’ve left.

    They sat us down at a terrible table in front of the toilets, very uncomfortable. But staff was very understanding and did their best to move us ASAP even though it was fully booked. Food was good, very good drinks! Amazing view!

    We started our evening there at around 5pm on a Friday night, had reservations, awesome dj playing the best of 70's and 80's, cocktails and appetizers were awesome, it was raining so we couldnt hang out on the welcoming out door roof top with pool, but still very cool spot for a couple of women in their early 50"s and 21 year old daughter. ;-)

    Drinks are priced loftier than the spectacular view; go at sunset if possible and if you want to sit, reserve a table. If you sit near the restroom (north side), service will slow down as it gets packed with 20-30 somethings at least on a Saturday . If you sit in the southwest side, near the waitress station, guess what? They still can’t hear you, but presumably corrections will be quicker. We had spicy tuna roll and vegetable dumplings with our drinks. Both quite good, presumably from restaurant at ground level. It’s really a bar with a dj. Tables are barely big enough for four drinks or two appetizers, not both.

    Our friend came to visit so we booked a table to watch the sunset and noted it was a special occasion. Turned up and all tables were full, no effort had been made to reserve anything. Told they would ‘let us know when something opened up’ - no point in booking then!! After 20 minutes we left and had dinner and drinks elsewhere. Never going back.

    We booked a table but when we got there they didn't have a table for us plus there was a private party going on After 10 minutes they said they were setting a table - which in fact was them asking someone else to move who subsequently refused Ultimately they took chairs from the private party and arranged against a wall not as promised in the window Could be great but service / welcome v poor Really disappointed especially as it was a 50th birthday celebration

    Stellar views- they are the reason to spend the money to go to Jimmy. Food was good. Drinks are good but pricey. Service was AWFUL. Music was both too loud and too techno. Still- so glad we went and I don’t regret spending the time or money there.

    Awesome view and cool Vibe! There’s a small pool on rooftop but I usually only see a few people in it. Expensive drinks $19. Service takes a while because it’s always packed.

    I made a reservation here for my birthday as their website stated you could use the pool if you have dinner reservations. When I confirmed, I learned this is only true on weekends, although the website states no difference. While trying to cancel, I was urged to reconsider by the staff from the hospitality company contracted by the restaurant, arguing the semantics of the website. Regardless, I wanted to cancel, and they pushed back. Will NEVER recommend this place.

    Always fun here, beautiful view, drinks were great. Sometimes door guy can be a bit snippy even this time and I specifically came for my birthday. Service is good and waitresses are very nice drinks are great and prices aren’t too bad for an NYC Rooftop

    Great view of the NYC skyline both uptown and downtown. The drinks were pricey, but not anything abnormal for a rooftop bar. The service was excellent. Everyone was attentive and friendly. I recommend the pineapple mojito.

    We got to Jimmy at the James at around 8 on a Sunday night. The roof deck was full of people, and there was a DJ playing some pop music. Drinks were expensive, $20 each, but the view was awesome. I got a few great pictures there. The pool was only open for about an hour while we were there and closed around 9pm but I got to sit in the pool for at least a little bit. There weren't very many people actually in the pool when I was there, there were more people just dipping their feet in while sitting poolside. Overall a good, one-time rooftop experience.
