Fitzcarraldo, a Northern Italian eatery, has a menu inspired by the fresh produce of the Alps and the seafood of the Italian Riviera. The restaurant is known for its farm-to-table serving style and its use of high-quality meats. Fitzcarraldo has a bright and large dining room that is decorated with wall-to-wall windows, contemporary lights and floral centerpieces. The dining room is also host to eclectic furniture, a trendy brick accent wall and an enormous wooden bar. We had a terrific meal at this restaurant a year ago (2015). Just returned and were very disappointed -- new chef, new concept, and not nearly as good.

Great pop-up in Bushwick run by Francis Mallmann trainee Chef Piattoni.....unpretentious dishes with complex and diverse flavors. Check it out before the season ends

The gazpacho-like vegetable/fruit medley was phenomenal. The carrots, the hake, the rice pudding...everything truly memorable and superbly done.

My first time at Fitzcarraldo and the best meal I've had in months. I'll definitely be going back. The staff could not be cooler or more friendly.

This place is amazing. It's a little off the beaten path but I live nearby and saw it when walking my dog one day. I went with a few friends for dinner and we all loved it. The ambiance is really cool, and the food was great. Highly recommend!
