   It was good but they were behind and you have to book a certain way to golf. We lost an hour of time that we paid for with no refund option.

   My friend and I who dined at Fairways both agreed this would be an unreal spot if it was a little less pricey! Loved everything - ambiance, tables by the open windows, service, food - however felt it was a slightly overpriced.

   Mark and his staff at Fairways were absolutely awesome! They accommodated our crowd of 20 and the staff was everything we could ask for. They were very available and willing to meet the needs of the crowd. On top of having a fun and energetic evening, the staff made sure we were satisfied and had a great night. The ambiance was everything I expected and more. I will definitely be back and will be sure to spread the word to others to check this place out! The food was great, the drinks were great, the staff was great, the golfing was great. Could not have asked for any more.

   I went here for my birthday around 7:30 on a Friday night. Once the dinner crowd left, we ended up being the only people in the bar (I think there were people upstairs for the golf). The food and drinks were great and the house brought out home made ice cream sandwiches for my birthday, free of charge. The music was good as well. I don't know why the bar was empty! But we still had a great time.

   This place has a great vibe to it the minute you walk into the door. The service is EXCELLENT and the ambiance is what you would picture a Sunday Brunch to be with friends, casual, fun, and chic. The only downside is the price on food. It's overpriced for what it is, but makes up for it with the venue.

   not sure what was going on with the staff last weekend but they certainly weren't paying any attention to the diners. Meals took ages to arrive. We ordered drinks which sat on the bar for 15mins before the waitress realized she had forgotten. Asked for a glass of ice, which she forgot about and later brought out after I asked again. No cutlery on the tables - I had to go grab it myself from the cutlery station. place was at most a third full. Bar and wait staff were standing around talking to one another. shocker. not going back...

   It wasn't very clear that you have to have a reservation for golf on Sunday. I assumed like Friday and Saturday it was first come, first serve.

   Food was fine. Just fine. Not great. Service was pretty, pretty bad. One server for the whole place on a Saturday night. That's not the service person's fault. That a management problem.

    My friends and I got a reservation for brunch for the bottomless mimosas we saw on Instagram. The deal was very legit, $25 for bottomless mimosas and a breakfast item, so we went in thinking it was going to be kind of a crazy brunch. It was loud, but nothing too insane; people really enjoyed the mimosas like we did! Our food order was promptly taken by our waitress which was very nice, but it took ages to come out to us. We heard a huge crash about an hour into our brunch which the waitress informed was our food someone dropped... fortunately our waitress was extremely apologetic and said the restaurant would take care of our bill - a hugely wonderful solution. Once the food did come out, it was REALLY good. Maybe because it was free. :) It was only an accident and the mimosas were delicious.

    Decent food, but a bit more abstract than I'd prefer. Great place to grab a drink and watch a game with large LED TVs on every wall, but the menu could have had a few basics on it.

    Went here during the Cubs game. They did everything right from service to food. My favorite was the hanger steak and the ugly dumplings, paired with the pear infused vodka YUM! Husband loved their beer selection too!!! We will come back!

    The food here is legit. Get the Buffalo meat short ribs. All of our small shared plates were delicious, especially the RibEye tartare. Service was great. Beer list is solid. Will come back again and again.

    They had just revamped the menu. The cocktails and the food were great. I wanted half the menu! The inside is cozy and newly decorated. The staff was friendly and attentive. They have the large windows they can open to make you feel like you're sitting outside. The manager gave us a menu for brunch so we will definitely check it out! This place has potential!

    The staff seems like they are all new and don't know a lot about the menu, what items they have and tend to say "no" a lot. Still keep giving fairways a chance because I love the ambiance but they need to work on their service.

    The bottomless mimosas is what caught my eye....the food was good. The atmosphere was amazing...it was packed or crazy busy the Sunday a friend and I went (assuming the rain and baseball game) but it was still great...loves it! Going back again real soon.

    I have been to fairways many of times and I want to love it but there are some things that always happen that leave my guests and I not feeling 100% satisfied. My favorite thing about Fairways is the environment. It is a great place for drinks at the bar, big groups, or just a casual meet-up. When it's nice, sitting by the open windows is fantastic. The menu has changed quite a few times since they opened. The current menu is decent, very well done food just not a lot of selection. The service has always been a little shaky. Servers have not been overly friendly and some times it has been slow. 10 of us decided to come here to watch a Saturday Hawks playoff game. The hostess was fantastic and accommodated us perfectly. We had a great table with great views of the tvs. Our server was not the best. We found out about two hours in that it was her first day. Why they scheduled someone to a group of 10 to our table during a hawks game is beyond me. We had slow service, had to hunt her down to get drinks and she was not very friendly. I will come back here and will recommend but they only have a few more chances to fix some of the kinks that they have had since they've opened.

    There was a mix up with our reservation and they originally didn't have me in their system. I had to pull out my phone to show them that a reservation was made. They set us up with a table eventually and it worked out. The waitress we had was very friendly and nice!
