Appetizers were phenomenal. We had fried artichokes with lemons and bruschetta with mushrooms. The meatballs were fine and the orecchiette was good but not as delicious as the openers. The atmosphere is minimalist but clean and sophisticated. The service was excellent from the coat checker to our server. It’s nice to have good restaurants in Pittsburgh again!

It took close to an hour for our food to arrive. The table across from us arrived after we did and were served before we were. Our food orders were simple. Drinks very skimpy. I had a martini that was the about two swallows of liquid.

I have eaten at Senti several times over the last two yrs..I went last night and it was great..!!!.. Had a wonderful bottle of Super Tuscan recommended by our waiter..I had a great pasta dish of black squid pasta with assorted shell fish..The value you pay is excellent for the quality of the food..

We were greeted immediately and led to a window table. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the food, he helped us decide. My mocktail with orange juice, pineapple juice and grenadine was perfect. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. The arancini appetizer was enough for both of us. My short ribs with polenta and sweet peppers fell apart on my fork, I didn’t need my knife to cut it. My husband’s gnocchi with bacon, veal and peas was fresh and bright. We split a generous tiramisu that melts in your mouth and savored strong cappuccino with layers of foamed milk. The restaurant was busy but not loud. The tables are comfortable and not too close. Parking is easy with a small lot across the street shared a few other nearby businesses. This was our belated Valentine’s Day dinner and it was well worth the wait.

We love the food and the vibe at Senti. It’s our go-to “someplace special” restaurant. Unique and delicious dishes, and even things you might see on other Italian menus — like rice balls and lasagna (which i normally don’t love) — are uniquely delicious at Senti. We had the lasagna and the gnocchi, and absolutely loved both. And I couldn’t get enough of the artichoke appetizer.
