   They charged us twice, one got us and one for another table. Absolutely ridiculous

   A quick note to start: when we arrived for our reserved time, the hostess told me she didn’t see our name and that they don’t take reservations through open table. Can’t explain that because here I am writing a review. We had the Omakase dinner. That’s a culinary experience not to be missed. No need to order anything else as it’s a 6 course tasting menu that is plentiful without being excessive. We shared a small bottle of Pure Dusk sake. A great meal. Service was very attentive. The restaurants at the Grand Hyatt all have a 15% gratuity baked in. There is a tip line on every bill for your convenience to add an additional gratuity. VAT tax of 10% is also an automatic add on. Omakase was $140 per person. The sake was $95. A glass of milk, couldn’t say. All in with the VAT, a small bump to take us to the 20% tip typical in the U.S. took us to $528 for 2 people. While pricey, it was a delicious meal and a great experience. Highly recommend, but also consider booking through the Grand Hyatt’s on-line website directly to avoid any confusion.

   À notre arrivée l’hôtesse n’avait pas de réservation à notre nom, lorsque que je lui ai montré la confirmation sur Open Table, elle m’a répondu…nous n’utilisons pas Open Table? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤬

   I think they overbook the restaurant as they made everyone wait between 20-30 minutes for tables that had reservations. Had a reservation for 8PM, arrived at 7:30 and was only seated at 8:25PM.

   The dynamite lobster roll is delish and loaded with lobster on top. Chase is a great server

   Our only issue was being asked if we wanted water… if you say yes just know you will receive a bottle that they pour from and leave on your table and charge you 14.00… everything else was amazing!

   Best sushi ever and the restaurant has good ambiance, 10/10 would recommend!

   When we arrived at Katsuya, I was greeted by a surly hostess who informed me that they no longer receive reservations from Open Table and therefore my reservation did not exist in their system.

   We were staying at the resort but used open table to make the reservation. When we got to the restaurant and they informed us they don’t except reservations from open table and this was a problem. They gave us a lecture on the proper way to reserve even though the restaurant was half empty. I don’t need to know about their issue with open table. Once they sat us, the service was decent and the food fairly good. Very pricey…most expensive roll we have ever ordered :)

    You get what you pay for . Service beyond outstanding. On of my sushi rolls was not what I expected. It was delicious but just not what I thought it would be .. they didn’t charge me ! That wasn’t even necessary but customer service above and beyond !!!!
