Great service and the food was delicious! It was also a good sign that local residents were constantly getting takeout as we were dining.

Very good food, we all enjoyed the meals and the cocktails had interesting twists. Service could improve. After seating us, bringing us water. they did not come back to check back on drinks, appetizers, meals. It was way after 15 minutes, when I had to get their attention; which I would understand on a busy night, but it was a quiet night and maybe three other tables occupied. Just wanted to mention it to keep in mind for a better full experience. We all would go back based on the flavors of the food and drinks.

It was Mothers Day and we had a very special dinner at Mela! I wanted to be less sauce in the entrees but the flavors and the tenderness of the meats were outstanding! They brought us more tamarind sauce for the delicious samosas and the puri bread was not greasy. The coconut nan was unexpectedly tasty and added a nice flavor as we dipped up the sauce.

We had a wonderful, delicious dinner at Mela before theater at the Calderwood . Everything was great. My husband declared this to be his very favorite Indian restaurant .

We have been there a number of times and are always pleased. Tonight they were very busy and somehow screwed up our order, so we waited a long time before I had to ask what was going on. They did move quickly to correct the error and our meals were delicious once they arrived.
