   Our table was note ready when we were arrived but nothing an aperol spritz at the bar couldn’t solve. We always enjoy our food and love coming here- some of the pasta dishes are smaller compared to a lot of the Italian restaurants but that’s because they suggest a family style. Everything we had was excellent and service was also good!

   I’ve been to Coppa before and got the spaghetti carbonara and absolutely loved it and was looking forward to my return. This time, however, I was severely disappointed by the service and the food. For the food we got polpette (meatballs) which were fair, the arrosticini (lamb skewers) which were amazing, and the fusilli and fettuccine con tartufo for the main course. The fusilli and fettuccine were beyond disappointing. Although the pasta itself was good, the fusilli had no sausage in it which was listed as the first ingredient on the menu. And the $45 fettuccine? As a lover of all things truffle, I honestly don’t think any truffles were used. The dish did not taste like truffles at all, even the truffle flakes on top of the dish also did not taste like truffles. I am certain it was another finely sliced mushroom. To top it off, both of us ordered drinks and had finished them with the appetizers but, we were not asked if wanted a refill until dessert. Overall, pretty disappointing for a meal I spent over $200 on.

   I was glad all the food was gluten free, but the food was not AMAZING and seemed overpriced for what you got. I would sooner pick a place in the North End that does gluten free consistently.

    Tiny spot had been going strong for years and I’ve never tried it Anne now I’m angry at muyalef for not trying it earlier Charming space, super-friendly efficient service and outstanding Italians small plates pizzas and pasta Prosciutto pizza with pear is the best pizza I’ve ever tasted Anarcini alightly smoky and delicious Italian sub (more a sandwich on focaccia) was lighter than the standard sub place version and very good Can’t wait to go back!     Decent meal. Not as good as it used to be.They were rushing us out the entire time though because we showed up 10 min after the reservation which OpenTable says is fine. The real kicker was that when we asked for the bill, they said their credit card system was down. We thought the meal would be comped. We thought wrong and they asked us to write down our credit card numbers and tips on a piece of paper so they can charge us later….we didn’t wanna do that but felt forced to. A couple days later we find out they didn’t even split the bill (we used two cards) and I ended up writing down my credit card info for no one to use. Who knows if that piece of paper is still lying around. Funny thing is that they did add up the two tips written on both pieces of paper and just charged one card. This place has been going downhill since they removed half pasta portions years ago. I have no problem splitting the bill with my friend on my own, but this meal should’ve been comped to begin with. You should NEVER ask your customers to share their personal info like that so casually. Take the L and comp the bill. If not, charge us properly.

    I really wanted to love Coppa since I've heard such great reviews, but honestly it is not my favorite Italian restaurant. I think their pastas (esp. the vodka sauce one) are extremely overpriced. I love to support local restaurants but I just don't think the portion sizes are appropriate for the price point here.

    Coppa was an 11/10. Spectacular service, adorable cozy space, good music, incredibleeeeee food and wine. You could tell the pasta was freshly made that day. So so good I need to book my next reservation back!!

    This was our first time inside Coppa. It was freezing out but they seated us right in front of the door - cold air when it opened. We were freezing. We are in our 60s and 70s and so the cold was too much for us. We asked to move and there was a lot of passing us on and not very helpful. They said we could move but big party would need our table in an hour. It is a teeny space overall. Frustrated we chose to sit at the bar. This saved us! We had a lovely helpful server who immediately took care of us. From there everything was excellent and the cheese plate and pasta were perfect. Loved it all. We might return but honestly the place did not seem very friendly to folks over age 65.

    We have dined here many times in the past and we have always loved it. Last night was not one of those times. The restaurant was freezing. The take-out protocol was for people to pick up their food at a large window that goes almost to the ceiling. This window opened and closed often as they do a huge take-out business. We kept our coats on all dinner and if it was acceptable I would have left my gloves and hat on too. The food came out very staggered and the first person to get their food was finished by the time the last person got their food. I understand good food will come out staggered as to be fresh, but this time there was too much of a delay. I’m not sure we will go back.

    This is one of our go to Boston spots for cozy, dependable excellent food. Summer and winter it’s always a great spot. While I love its location, I wish it were bigger so not as hard to get tables for more than 4 persons.

    Very good good and atmoshphere. Only problem was it was very cold. They open the window for takeout and the restaurant is very small, so every time the window is open a cool breeze comes in. Dress warm.

    Pasta was very good, enjoyed the spicy rigatoni. Drink selection was not that large (weren’t able to make specific drinks we wanted). Tiramisu for dessert was disappointing, was a bit dry.

    The food and ambience were great. Our server was sub-par but the front of house manager made up for it. The place is tiny, and the table for 2 they sat us at was very cramped by the bar. The pizza and celery salad were incredible. Great place for before theatre dinner.
