   The dinner was amazing, especially the dessert. The staff were excellent & very helpful.

   Both the food and service were average, and the bill was more expensive than the prices listed on the menu.

   We enjoyed our High Cheese Experience. While it got off to a rocky start where our reservation was missed, the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Some items advertised were not part of our platter but everything was delicious. The staff were really lovely and I would recommend the High Cheese experience.

   We were the only 4 people in restaurant. Food was fine but service not great. Had to find waiter when we wanted drinks and not asked if we would like dessert coffee etc. lights came on so obviously we knew we had to wrap it up.

   The menu was limited Our drinks were slow to be served We were put on a tiny table that 2 people were at...and there was 4 of us..very cramped. Our entree of beef skewers was not good value for $20...3 tiny meat skewers with a huge bowl of stay sauce(this was great) just not much meat Our party diner 1 had lamb shoulder...very overcooked not enjoyable Diner 2 chicken schnitzel was good except was not able to have mushroom sauce Diner 3 and 4 had chicken saltimbucca...whilst it was well cooked and wrapped in prosciutto there was no sage (a major ingredient of this dish)..the burnt butter sauce was non existent..and the creamy mash was extremely lumpy with bits of brown lumps (we think this was potato skin). It was not busy only 3 other tables of single or two diners... yet the city was very busy. We were excited to try this restaurant having not been to Sugar Shaker for many years..it seems suites to cater only for guests staying and not the wider public. It was extremely disappointing and we probably won't return.

   Nice setting and would be a lovely place for intimate dining. Our food was cooked beautifully and presented well.

   The buffet breakfast was excellent with a variety of choice. Staff were friendly and not intrusive. Will return with friends for dinner sometime.

   Breakfast was lovely, quite a selection of breakfast items, as well as being able to ask for poached or fried eggs made as requested

    Value for money was incredible!!! A nice variety without being over the top. Staff were friendly and not in your face.
