As longtime patrons of Eddie V’s Tysons, my family and I have come to expect a high standard of service and atmosphere. Unfortunately, our most recent visit, our second in two weeks to celebrate a birthday, was deeply disappointing and concerning. We had specifically requested a table near the live band in advance but were instead seated at a table farther away, directly along the main walkway. While not ideal, we proceeded with our evening. However, shortly after placing our order, a visibly distressed and unhoused woman began loitering right next to our table. She appeared to be suffering from significant mental health challenges and emitted a strong, unpleasant odor. Her clothing was soiled, and she was unsteady on her feet, stepping on the backs of her shoes. Despite multiple managers observing the situation, no action was taken to address it. The woman remained next to our table for approximately 20 minutes, rummaging through bags and causing significant discomfort for my family. Eventually, we felt we had no choice but to leave. We requested the check, but instead a manager came over and stated she would take care of it, yet still did nothing to resolve the situation. After my family departed, I remained to settle the bill. When I asked again for the check, the manager offered to move us to another table. I explained that my family had already left and I simply wanted to pay. To my disbelief, she accused me of being aggressive, an inappropriate and unacceptable response in this context. Given the premium nature of Eddie V’s, where even appetizers are priced at $35 and above, this experience was completely misaligned with the standards your brand represents. We left feeling not only disappointed but also unfairly treated for simply expecting a dignified dining environment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to a review of protocols for guest safety, service recovery, and maintaining the standards of your establishment.

It was our anniversary and we wanted a special place to celebrate it. When we arrived they sat us in a normal table (I had mentioned anniversary on my reservation because I know they put rose petals on your table and make it extra special for you). Once I mentioned it was our 44th anniversary they quickly made up for the oversight and brought us roses and a card. That was very nice! Our server was spectacular, she was the most attentive and thoughtful server I’ve had in a long time. The food was amazing, we shared a warm goat salad and my husband had the tenderloin with crab on top and I had the salmon, they were both delicious. We shared the crab fried rice, which was our favorite. To complete the meal we ordered the crème brûlée and they surprised us with a second dessert of lemon tart. Both were delicious. It was a perfect meal. We will definitely return to enjoy this special place.

4 Stars because the only issue was were we sat in the restaurant. When I made My reservation I made a reservation for a table near the bar with the music. When we arrived we were asked if we would move to the back of the restaurant that was described as still being able to see the restaurant and hear the music. This was not the case. This is a room where we sat with several families with children under 10. It was not the experience I had hoped for on Father’s Day. The hostess was very deceptive in how she described where we would be moved too. Our server was amazing and the food was good.

My birthday celebration- it was fabulous!! Our server, Hana was professional, knowledgeable and had a wonderful personality. Great food and great value!! There was also a jazz trio and they were fabulous! Hana gave us wonderful suggestions from the menu. I can’t wait to return and dine there again!! Simply awesome!

The service was impeccable, the food was cooked to perfection, and our mixed drinks were impressive. It was a beautiful meal. It’s good to still receive great customer service in a world where everyone now has “agency.” I was made to feel good about spending my money in the establishment, and enjoying a great meal with family. (P.S.Thank you for serving cold water.)

Great restaurant. The food was excellent. My fillet was cooked to perfection and the crab fried rice was magnificent. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the lamb chops. The service was a little choppy at first but with a gentle nudge they got it together. This was my second time dining at Eddie V's and it won't be my last.
