   On a visit to Sedona, per a recommendation from the staff at our resort, we had dinner at Cucina Rustica. It was an absolutely lovely experience! We began with the host spreading rose petals on our table & acknowledging my birthday. The decor was charming, with beautiful iron chandeliers & a faux night sky in the middle of the ceiling with a bubbling fountain beneath it. After we were seated, Kaia came to the table, introduced herself as our server's assistant, & offered us our preference of flat or sparkling water. Soon after, we were greeted by Isaiah, our server extraordinaire. In addition to being convival & charismatic, Isaiah provided excellent suggestions for wine, entrées, & appetizers. I elected to get the veal scallopini, while my husband chose the rack of lamb. Both were incredible! My veal practically melted in my mouth. Isaiah's service was genuinely personal & exceptional. We finished the evening with the restaurant's free "birthday dessert" which was also of note as it went well beyond the standard scoop of vanilla ice cream & was unique & delightful. This was the best meal we've had in years & quite possibly the best since we left Europe. Thank you for a glorious evening!

   Pretty good restaurant in Sedona. We have been visiting this restaurant for years. Great quality, however portions are now smaller, no bread after seating and prices much higher. Cocktails could be better.

   I wrote a whole review and lost it when I tried to add photos. So here’s a shorter version: The ambiance, decor, and food were all amazing. There are several smaller dining rooms which made for a more intimate feel. The decor was outstanding - there were even stars on the ceiling in the dining room we were in. The food and presentation were wonderful. My husband had the gnocchi and I had an off-menu pasta with marinara since I’m a vegetarian. The flourless chocolate cake was to die for. Wish we could come back on a weekly basis, but we’re just visiting. Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive. The manager stopped by to see how we were enjoying our meal. This was a thoroughly wonderful experience and one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

   Food and atmosphere were both wonderful. However, what made the evening were the entire staff, especially our server, Sadie. Sadie is the utmost professional and she was wonderful!

   The service, ambiance, and food were excellent. I had a shrimp dish with a very light sauce. My husband had the eggplant parm which he really enjoyed. We also ordered the focaccia bread which is a must.

    Terrific entrée options, wonderful wine list by the bottle and glass. Service is attentive without being disruptive. Food went beyond our expectations. We shall return.

    The food was delicious and service was outstanding. The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 was due to the seating being uncomfortable; we had a table for two where one chair looked and felt like and iron patio chair and the other seat was a long cushioned bench which leaned like a church pew - neither ideal for comfortable sitting.

    We try to get to Sedona yearly and when we do Cucina Rustica is always our choice for a great Italian dinner. I have some food allergies and they are always very accommodating to help me find something delicious to eat. Their signature cocktails are always fun and even though we are not wine drinkers very often, we recognize that they have an impressive wine selection. All of the wait staff was excellent and made it a great night.

    Food was amazing. Unfortunately our waiter was very pushy trying to have us order right away. He was quite arrogant and condescending. The food was delicious though! I would go back but never sit in his section again.

    First time in Sedona. We were able to walk from our hotel. The lemon gelato was out of this world. So good that we had it the next night at Pisa Lisa. (Sister restaurant). Appetizer of burrito, artichoke and mushrooms was a perfect shareable. Entrees were delicious. Highly recommend.

    It was Jennifer’s birthday. We added that info to OpenTable. However we had to remind our server that it was her birthday as there was no mention of it. The food was amazing. Literally one of the best meals ever for both of us. Our server Sadie was outstanding. My only 3 star vs 4 or more is that we waited quite a while for our entrees. Otherwise she was quite delightful and a good server overall. She made it fun and a super pleasant experience.

    We arrived early for our reservation, intentionally, and enjoyed drinks on the patio. The patio is decorated nicely with lights and the fireplace was cozy. It was magical and we did not feel like we were dining in a strip mall. From the bartender, hostess and entire wait staff everyone was friendly, helpful and efficient. It was difficult to choose an entree as everything sounded good. All four of us ordered different entrees and all were amazing. I even bought Lisa's cook book so I could enjoy some of them at home. Make Cucina Rustic a must when you visit Sedona.

    If I base my review on last night, I will have to say Cucina has gone downhill. I speak as a fairly frequent customer. The ambience is nothing like it was, the service was “ok”, the food was fine but not the kind that would bring me back or recommend to others. Saying that hurts me. My wife and I have loved Cucina Rustica. But it isn’t the same. Comments about less than satisfactory quality of food are met with an, “oh well” attitude. I’m not sure if Lisa is aware of this or has just accepted this downfall in her restaurant. We aren’t the fans of Mariposa that we once were, for many of the same reasons. I’m hoping these are hiccups in the restaurants…but I’m not convinced that is the case.

    Ordered the &62 14oz Ribeye -Bone in. The first steak was full of gristle. They brought a second steak, no bone in. Still charged to $62 and the stark was not juiced though it was medium. Service was awesome. Drinks were awesome. Everyone else for was awesome. I just felt they should have accommodated for the low quality steak. I didn’t ask and no one offered.

    Always great here. My friends visiting From Scottsdale. They loved it. The bolognese is always awesome. Best calamari. The service is always outstanding.

    This another Lisa Dahl wonderful restaurant. Lovely ambiance with nice music in background. Wonderful wait staff that provides practical advice if invited. While not inexpensive, it's good value for fine food from menu with nice range of quality items.

    The Italian entrees we ordered were very good, but having to wait 30 minutes and flag down the manager of the restaurant in order to get any service is unforgivable.

    We ate last evening and it was marvelous. The food was great, and the service was outstanding. Eric was a delight and his wine choice was spot on. Would go back in a heartbeat, but alas I live in Peterborough NH.
