High quality dinner with attention to detail by wait staff and chef, small 10 table restaurant , just outside of Alpine Wyoming, Italian tendencies with wester flair, good reasonable wine list, recommend reservations, nice small bar if there is a wait for table, Great find, will be back, scenic view along the Snake from Jackson, did not expect this in Alpine

Poor front door service; main waitress tentative but the support staff did not know what to do
Food fair - only two IT dishes on the menu; excessive price/dish
Crowded and noisy dinning room and poor view

Having just moved to Wyoming, we were recommended the OYG. It looks like a house from the road, but once you get inside, you are greeted by staff at a small bar, who are courteous and friendly. We were shown to our table and handed menus. A lot of what was cooked was based on seasonal produce one of which was only two weeks long. The food came out and WOW! Starters were amazing and everyone finished their entrees as the portions were just right. My critical husband, who cooks an amazing steak himself, is often disappointed when we go out to eat. He ordered the steak and for the first time EVER said he couldn't find fault and we would definitely go back.
The staff were knowledgeable and prompt with the service, but not intrusive.
The price range on the menu catered for most pockets, and it would be an injustice not to experience the food if living here or visiting the area.

Housemade pasta, housemade ricotta, in house cured bacon, from scratch desserts including housemade marshmallows! Need I say more. Yum! Thanks Paulie!
