Returned after a previous not the best experience (was breakfast) and their dinner is way better. Although, I think as someone who doesn’t eat cheese, it would be amazing to be able to make modifications to happy hour items.

Delia and Delightful Great choice for dinner after a show (movie) at the nearby Angelica. The salmon was done to perfection! Loved the great wine choices too! Will definitely be back.

We (5 of us) had brunch here on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were super nice from the hostess to the wait staff. Food came quickly and was delicious. Wait staff attention was just right--not constantly filling water glasses, but there when you needed them. Ambience was warm and not too trendy. Just perfect. Would definitely return.

Absurdly modest portions. I had the buttermilk chicken sandwich and it was served on the kind of bun that you get at the grocery store in a 12-pack. The sandwich had 2 tablespoons of coleslaw on the bun and a dribble of sirachi mayo. The side of fries was a cup and a half at most. It is difficult not to judge such portions as anything but absurd for the expense of $25 with tax and tip. I was there for Sunday brunch so I realized that I needed to adjust my expectations for service, but the server came near my table at least five times while I was trying to get some mayo on the side; never happened. Then I started trying to get his attention so that I could get the check...successful only when I stood up and stopped him. Then, another 20 minutes was devoted to trying to pay the bill.

Was at the restaurant for Sunday brunch, and despite being there for nearly 90 minutes, our party of three only had one drink each. We were never offered the opportunity to order another. Service was generally slow overall and the food was mediocre at best - the fries were way over cooked to the patient they were almost inedible. I miss the Jane of years past before it became so popular. Happy for their success, but hope they can get back to the core things that made them.

Waited 30 minutes for our table. It was Saturday night and we understand tables can run behind. The host thanked us for our patience but that was it. Once we were seated, we promptly ordered. Our first round of drinks took 40 minutes to come out. We were already done with appetizers. We ordered a second round as soon as we could flag down our server again, which took a while. 30 minutes passed and the bar hadn’t even started to make them (we were seated right next to the bar so we could see). We had to get somewhere so we had to cancel the drinks. The manager took off two appetizers which was nice but it was a terrible experience. We had planned to have multiple drinks and dessert but didn’t have a chance, and the servers didn’t seem to notice the long wait. The restaurant was relatively full but the bar was not full, no large parties and no private party downstairs, so we aren’t sure why everything was taking so long. Would not come back.

We take our 83 yr old mother inlaw every Thanksgiving to Jane. She loves it and so do we, the food portions are always large and so flavorful everything from the crab cakes, salad , and turkey dinner. We started with a cocktail a good pour in a lovely tumbler with a huge slice of lime - perfection. The staff is fabulous not to hovering but available, a different waiter came over twice to check on us as our waitress was unavailable aka a much needed break. We were never unattended. Go for a good brunch as well, so glad Jane was able to stay around when so many places couldn't.

We got there at a good time (11:00 am on a Thursday) so it wasn’t quite the lunch rush and we missed the breakfast rush. This was our fourth time at Jane since 2014 and every time, we get something different and haven’t had a bad meal! Get the rosemary fries; they are delicious! Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We’ll be back!

I love Jane since it's one of few NY restaurants where you can hear your friends talk and not have to yell! My friend LOVED her mussels and frites. I ordered the sea bass which was cooked perfectly and delicous, but the risotto and butternut squash it came with were not--both too hard. Sad, because they were super tasty. Risotto should be creamier and softer, this was like an undercooked rice pilaf. But I won't stop going back to Jane, I like it too much. OH!, and our server was great as he was so knowledgable about the menu for someone allergic to gluten (since he was as well!)

Food and drinks were really good. We got the steak and the brick chicken. One of my friends ordered a pasta and we were told around 45 minutes later that it was sold out which seemed like a long time to be notified. Food took a while to come out but was delicious and hot. It was a Saturday afterall and luckily we had no where to be so it was fine for us.

This is probably the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. I invited my sister and some friends that came to New York for a special ocassion and chose Jane for brunch. I regret the whole experience. The food was terrible, burned coffee but the worst… the crew, specially the manager. So disrespectful! Jane? NEVER IN MY LIFE AGAIN

Food was good. The calamari was tasty; Jane burger was cooked to my liking and was good. Cocktail was good and so was the flourless chocolate cake. However, the chicken sandwich was over fried and needed seasoning/salt. The server was inattentive although the place was empty. He brought the bill while we were still having dessert, but proceeded to say no rush. The two gentlemen next to us, who we met there, were still sitting and talking, but the bill wasn’t brought to them. We ended up leaving them there still talking. Needless to say, his tip reflected his actions. We won’t go back.

Wonderful dinner at Jane. I went with all of the specials: the peach and arugula salad, the bucatini with shrimp, and the banana split. Everything was amazing. The service was outstanding and the prices much lower than so many of the neighboring restaurants. I look forward to returning very soon.
