Want to dine in? We’re conveniently located across from the St. Lawrence Market, just south of Front Street in downtown Toronto. Our beautiful decor provides the perfect setting for a relaxed night out with friends or family.
Each dish was tasteful and authentic. Especially enjoyed the Tandoori Salmon (fresh and flavourful) and the Lamb Vindaloo. Waitstaff was attentive without being intrusive. Thumbs up, will definitely go back.
ordinary indian food with mostly unattentive service
I've been meaning to eat here for quite a while and finally got the opportunity to take a visiting friend and others recently. I should have gone sooner. Excellent food, presentation and friendly, efficient staff. Enjoyed a memorable evening on the patio with food, cocktails and friends.
Consistently excellent food and service.
Great service, great good, thank you! We will definitely go back when we return to Toronto.
Great food, although just one issue among the 6 meals eaten. The curry chicken, while delicious, was mostly a bowl of sauce and chicken, vs., chicken and sauce.
Our favourite Indian restaurant. We even have our menu favourites.
Gem of a restaurant in the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood. If you want the best Indian food in the city, look no further. Eat in or take out, this is a regular choice for us.
Excellent food and service. Top notch in a lovely part of town.
Great food and cute patio
I went with 3 friends. Two of us cook Indian food regularly. Bindia lacked spice on everything. We paid $23 for Summerlicious lunch. Bindia is next to a larger farmer market (which we go to regularly) and our lunch would have cost them about .25 cents for appetizer, about $2.00 for the main and .25 cents for dessert (a single tim bit size donut with 1/4 cup of sugar syrup, no Indian flavor to it). We felt robbed.
That was a great Indian food experience. Everything was excellent
The chicken curry (spicy) is an absolute must. My mouth is watering as I write this review. This was my third visit and won't be my last. Along with the food, the service is excellent!
Great food and quality. We shared a variety of dishes and none of us were disappointed. Caters to those who like spicy as well as not so spicy. Will definitely be back.
Delicious authentic flavours and warm, friendly service- we look forward to our return!
Service was slow; there were only 2 servers for the whole restaurant, and one doubled as hostess. But the food was very good; great place for a business lunch.
Great in every single aspect!
Lovely place in a beautiful location. I will return for sure.
Great flavor, not too much oil. Well done. Try the rasmalai if you have never had good Indian desert.
The service was good except for when we entered, we were just greeted with a smile and made to wait for approximately 7-10 minutes despite making a booking and without being informed whether the table is being arranged or any kind of conversation. The food was below average. It could be because we live in England and we have amazing Indian restaurants especially in Central London and we had the same level of expectation for a restaurant in downtown Toronto. Neither the decor, nor the food justifies the prices. The staff was friendly and very polite but that's not the sole purpose of dining out. Unfortunately, I wouldn't visit this place again and nor would I recommend it to anyone as there was nothing appealing about it.
Wonderful food. Spices well balanced. Large portions. wonderful Naan bread. Great service!
Especially nice ambience
We were visiting from Bermuda and walked up from our hotel to eat there. I had seen good reviews and thought we'd check it out. The food was beyond delicious and the lovely Isabel looked after us in a professional and friendly manner. She made our meal perfect. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, decor was understated and contemporary. Hope they have a wonderfully long run!
Good food, decent service.
Nice decor away for the usual Bollywood type Indian restaurant.
More pricy than you local Indian restaurant but I guess you ay for the decor and ambiance
Très bon restaurant , ne pas hésiter , le cadre est propre et le personnel serviable
Made reservations on Monday for dinner, walked for 20 plus minutes and the restaurant is closed. Very annoying.
Very good food and great service. Location was easy to find, right next to Lawrence Market.
The food is delicious and incredibly fresh and the service is always great. The owners normally come to speak to the groups I bring in and that's always a treat.
Had a good time, food was nice but we had to rush with the order as it was closing time.
We had a great meal here with friends, food really creative and authentic and cocktails, beer and wine menu excellent. Best of all was the service, no rush, we had the table all evening and had great catch-up with friends without pushy servers badgering all night long! Very impressed and would highly recommend!
We first visited Bindia's four years ago when they first opened, and knew then it was top-notch. It is an annual stop for us when we visit from Houston, Tx. If anything, Bindia's delicious food has become more refined over time. They deserve their #1 rating.
Everything was delicious.
The place was well situated.
We had a great time everything was perfect.
Lovely dining room in a great location on the side street across from the St. Lawrence market. I had the best chicken tikka I've ever had. Service was very helpful and accommodating.
Great food and great service! We ordered the butter chicken, lamb, samosas and naans. All were great!
great drink menu!!! food was good too - not too spicy
Restaurant seemed understaffed on a Sunday night. People were waiting quite awhile for tables with many open in the restaurant. Staff was friendly and food was good, table service was spotty.
Bad Service, overpriced.
My mother and went for a long chatty lunch. We were there approx. 2 hours and shared 4 different dishes. The staff was pleasant, helped with additional plates and didn't rush us. It was wonderful food and a great experience. I'll be back with my husband and friends.
The food was delicious and our server was amazing!
Friendly service, great food & ambiance. Nice location. I'd definitely recommend it!!
Six of use ordered two main courses and some side dishes. Both the main courses were tasty and we had ordered Naan and Roti repeatly to go with them.
Good India food but not outstanding. Nice location, outside by St. Lawrence Market.
