Service was excellent. Food was very good quality, well prepared and presented. The warm date cake for dessert was unique and especially good.
My first time at Amoura for a business lunch.
The service was great and the food was very good.
Tried the flatbread and hummus for appetizers and would recommend.
The salads are very generous in size and very fresh.
The lamb kebobs were cooked perfectly.
Great option for South SF neighborhood.
Food and service were both excellent. Received good recommendations from waitress.
This place is a gem in SSF. Who knew that you could get a SF experience without having to go into the city!?! Great healthy food. Good atmosphere. Great service. It's a find in an otherwise nondescript neighborhood. It's a bit out of the way for some, but worth the drive. The plus is they have their own well lit free parking lot next door. Easy peasy. 5 stars!!
Fantastic dinner! Best food combos Ive had in awhile. A friend and I ordered the Carrot and Avocado, the Strawberry and Arugula salad and the Mushroom Risotto. The risotto was my fave but save room for the date and dark chocolate cake! Noise level was high due to a large party but service was great. Would eagerly love to go back.
Amoura is a great restaurant for friend lunches or dinners as well as business lunches or dinners! There is a parking lot for their patrons, too! All the servers have been very nice and Marryum has been very helpful in coordinating events - I want to hold some dinner events there for my company. Great food - their flatbread pizzas are great. I also love their lemonade infused with hibiscus - yummy non-alcoholic drink. But they do have good wines and beers, too!
It's not disappointing, just not great. If you are at Oyster Point and want something close, this is a good choice
First time to Amoura and we were happy with everything. Our waitress was helpful and knowledgeable, the food was outstanding and the price matched the quality. We talked about when we could make it back on our drive home!
Ordered lamb shank, sauce had so much salt, making inedible. Lamb was nice soft, shame the salt level ruined the dish. Risotto side dish could not be considered as being risotto.
Lamb burger was over cooked.
Wonderful in all respects. Unique Mediterrabean menu. Great service and fodd and beverage. Imnaculate open kitchen.
Really enjoyed the variety of the menu, and, the lamb with risotto was truly succulent, will definitely return!
Excellent food and service. Will definitely go back k and recommend.
One of the best meals I've had in a long while! :)
Once again, another fine meal with very attentive, friendly staff. Always a pleasant experience to eat at Amoura’s.
Nice ambience, great food and excellent service!
Service was very, very good. Food was delicious. Thank you Amoura.
We loved the small plates at Amoura! Authentic Middle Eastern , hummus came with whole garbanzos, delicious eggplant flatbread, strawberry and arugula salad with blue cheese, avocado and carrot salad, and a delectable wild mushroom risotto.
Food (as always!) was excellent - delicious appetizers and amazing entrees. The service was lovely and the atmosphere inviting. Will definitely go back and recommend.
A neighborhood gem, authentic taste and wonderful service 🙂
Great food. Good service. Only issue was it was very noisy.
We came here for the first time, because it had received good reviews. What we found was that the food was good but the Service was terrible. It ruined our experience, and just wasn’t worth the money that was spent.
This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I was looking for something just South of SF and noticed good reviews on this restaurant. The food was really outstanding and healthy. I really enjoyed it. I also loved the abundance of parking, nice ambiance and pleasant staff.
We had a great dinner experience. The menu and food were both excellent! We wished we could have tried more appetizers and flatbreads. The service was perfectly attentive and knowledegable. We will definitely go again.
The best middle eastern cuisine in the Bay Area. Elegant atmosphere and great service.
Amoura has fantastic Mediterranean food. I keep coming back. The food is so fresh and delicious. You will not be disappointed. The ambience is beautiful and the staff is excellent.
Food was outstanding! Tapas style. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates. Ambiance was well done. Only thing lacking was the service provided by the waitress, which compared to everything else was not on the same par. Not attentive and was nowhere to be found throughout the meal. Outside of that, it was still a good experience and I would recommend.
Amoura is very good in all categories - food, service, ambiance and price. They never disappoint...at least not so far!
Food took a while to come to the table which was OK, since we had business to talk about. The Sea Bass was merely grilled and overcooked. The fennel, olives, and roasted garlic did not complement the fish and was not even a well-crafted blend of flavors on its own. The preserved lemon on the fish did go well with the fish. Tabouli would have complimented the fish and cured lemon much better. I think the prices are a bit high and could benefit from price reduction for the large dishes by 15%. The other dishes, although not a value are reasonably priced. The side of hummus was excellent and the falafels were marginal. The flatbread dishes are very good and heard the steak was excellent. I would go back for the hummus and flatbread but skip the fish.
The lunch menu is mostly salads, flatbreads, or sandwiches. There were two lunch entrees - a vegetarian chick pea stew and lamb kabobs. I had a smoked sturgeon flatbread with spiced yogurt base, small bits of sturgeon, sautéed green onions, and sprigs of fresh dill. It was quite different and tasty. My guest had the lamb kabobs which looked to be done to perfection and tender. The table came with hummus dip and pita cuts as well as spiced toasted chick peas and an olive assortment. They have a nice wine and beer menu and also have a full bar, but we did not partake. This was my second lunchtime visit here and as enjoyable as before. It can be a bit noisy here, especially if there are several large groups.
The service and food were really good. The food was cooked perfectly, steak, lamb shank (delicious), and assorted small plates (flatbreads are great).
Great food great srvice
Amoura is a gem, especially for its unlikely location in South San Francisco. The food is very good (has improved a lot over the last few years), the service is great, facility is welcoming and clean and they even have parking!
A outa has always been a great place to eat with friends or for business meals. Staff are always nice and accommodating, including the catering team!
Delicious food and impeccable service. Do not miss this gem!
Terrific place! First time there and everything was delicious. Great hummus. Delicious salads and desserts. Plan on returning.
Was good nothing crazy wouldn’t suggest bringing child seem to be frowned upon
Service is great. Healthy food. One of my favorite restaurants in the South San Francisco.
Service was uneven. Friendly competent waitress, but took a very long time to get our wine. It came when the food did, after we reminded them. Salad came after we were well into entrees. I think they may have been having a crisis in the kitchen. Food quality was also uneven. Steak & lamb kebabs done perfectly, but they were out of yogurt for the chickpea stew (which they didn't tell us about until it was too late to order differently). The squash under the kebabs was weirdly ice cold & fishy tasting, but they took that off our bill. Pleasant atmosphere, and they seem to be trying hard, but have a few kinks to work out.
Have been here several times and really like the food. This last visit was the one time it was not enjoyable because of a large and VERY loud party next to us, but anywhere in the restaurant would have been loud. It looks like they could have partitioned off a portion of the restaurant for the party to keep the noise contained. It was very difficult to have a conversation.
Very fresh and delicious food with lots of vegetarian options. The felafel are really excellent, flavorful and not oily
