Mesero - Inwood Village
Friday - Saturday 11:00am - 10:30pm
Great birthday lunch with friends of 60 years! Yes, 60!!! Fabulous food, friendly service and a birthday serenade.
Love this place in spite of how loud it is! A great vibe and good food. The La Dona margarita is my favorite! 😋
Best Mexican I’ve ever had! Fast and great service!
Ethan was our server and the BEST server I have ever had!
We tried their brunch on a recent Saturday and found the place to be uncrowded which was a nice change from the normal hectic pace during lunch or dinner. The brunch options were fine although the Mimosa‘s and Bloody Mary’s seemed a little pricey compared to other locations in town. It was not crowded and the service was fairly slow but overall it was a pleasant experience and we will come back for brunch again soon.
They’re the best with families!!!
Food and service was very good and all went very well.. Great restaurant for a business meeting
Mesero has an upscale but casual atmosphere. The portion sizes are just right, not too large like some Mexican restaurants. Good food...we had quesadillas and the Hollywood Cobb salad. Overall a really nice dinner experience.
Mesero is an upscale continental Mexican restaurant. The food is excellent and not ordinary. The service is that of a fine restaurant. Great cocktails and drinks but expensive.
The food is just mediocre. Especially for the price. The flavor of their dishes and salsa's just seem bland to me.
Noise level borders on unbearable - otherwise fantastic in terms of food, service and value.
We dined with friends and were please with quality of food as well as service which had been hit or miss on recent visits. Our server was attentive and food was delicious. I love the nachos conocidos with brisket and the carne asada is a large portion which often has enough for a light lunch doggie bag.
Another great trip to Mesero! Service is outstanding, as is the food.
Excellent and unique Mexican inspired dishes...the best service we have ever experienced in Dallas.
Noise level was loud and intense even at 9:30 PM, but it was Friday evening. No sound absorbing materials in construction of the room. Food was ordinary Tex-mex in a unique presentation. Service was fast and efficient.
Tasty food. The queso was delicious. Chips come in a small container. Need to address when customer orders guac and queso. Good seasoning. Would return.
Hostess is the best! Always makes my family feel welcome.
This is our favorite Mexican food restaurant in Dallas!! The food is always delicious and the margaritas the best - especially the the Meserita and the El Santo. The waiters are all wonderful and friendly! Can't wait to go back.
Wonderful food. Everything I have eaten there has been very good. The seasoning/flavors are incredible. Family friendly. Definitely a return visit is on the horizon.
Server was better than excellent! Can’t remrmver her name, maybe Patita?
Great to meet clients! Wonderful meal and easy to carry on conversations and catch up. Clients were impressed too!
Always good food. Special mex and texmex. Great service. Very crowded and loud. Giant kid friendly vibe.
My friends and I went for dinner last Friday, September 7th, and the noise level was absolutely terrible! We couldn't converse without shouting! This was at 5:30 pm. I can only imagine how much worse the noise gets a bit later in the evening. The restaurant must address this!
they know how to run a restaurant. which is nice, since that's not always the case...
There was a noise level that made conversation impossible. The service was very slow. Food was great, salsas excellent. Recommended if you don’t like talking or hearing.
Too loud and service not great
This was my first visit to Mesero, but not the last. Great food and excellent service. A terrific find!
Always a solid meal and tremendous service. If you’re looking for a quiet spot this isn’t it - the dining area can be pretty noisy.
Always try to eat here when in Big D. Consistently good.
Great spot, consistently good.
Great food. Love getting 3 dips/salsas/guac with my chips. Like that the chips come in my own little refillable cup. Love that the dips are re-plenished. Food was great. I need the green beans recipe. Drink prices are a little expensive for me, but otherwise a great place. Have a reservation because it's packed - especially with families at dinnertime.
Love the food! It was hot in he restaurant.
Very good Mexican food. I had enchiladas and a bowl of tomato/chicken soup. Both were delicious. Nice service, and a pretty space. Recommended.
Really disappointing attempt at date night. We sat down, and each ordered a margarita and ordered ceviche to share for an appetizer. When our waiter came back with our margaritas, he took our order. A few minutes later, our ceviche came out. We asked for chips, and within 60 seconds of them being brought out, our entrees appeared, not even giving us a chance to have two bites of our appetizer and within 10 minutes of sitting down at the table. We came for a relaxing date night. We're not lingerers, but I don't think I should have to reach over my huge dinner plate to reach any of my appetizer that I wasn't given a chance to eat. My husband noticed he hadn't gotten the beans that were to come with his entree, so he requested them. The waiter said they were the beans that he (the waiter) had given to me on the plate with my tortillas, and proceeded to take the beans away from me and put them on my husband's plate. I don't know how much a tiny bowl of beans costs, but I can't imagine it's so much that the waiter can't bring my husband his own beans instead of making him eat the ones that were served to me and I've already had a bite of. The food was decent and if the service had been better and allowed us to enjoy our food, I would go back. Unfortunately based on our experience, I won't.
They were supposed to acknowledge a birthday for us on this visit, but forgot to do so until I asked - and then charged us for the slice of birthday cake.... we questioned it and they said yes they charge for that. Interesting - no one else does! So expensive for what you get - the drinks are so overpriced.
Thanks for a very special birthday brunch with our buddy Joe! The staff is amazing. The manager is outstanding and super friendly. Can’t wait to come back!
Food and service were great. Loved all but noise level. Difficult to enjoy conversation with friends.
I always have the shrimp Ceviche. We usually dine at the Beltline location and I like their preparation much better than Inwood because they do not put sauce over the top of the shrimp and avocado ceviche. That sauce to me killed the freshness of the dish. It literally ruined the dish for me.
There 3 hours with a girlfriend celebrating my BDay.Loved the 5 layer Leched cake! Staff never rushed us out.Everything was great!
We have had consistently good food and service here for two years. The signature drinks are excellent. The guacamole is simple, yet excellent. Their salsas are both unique and interesting as sides to their solidly dependable entrees. A bit loud with families at time, but worth looking past that challenge. We take friends here and know we will not be disappointed.
