Located at the corner of Carmine and Bedford Streets in the West Village, Market Table boasts an airy dining room with exposed brick walls and large windows offering a view onto village life. The menu at Market Table is seasonal American, influenced by Chef Mike Price's childhood on the family farm in Maryland. Chef Price offers nightly specials that reflect his love of creating simple dishes with big flavors.

Both indoor & outdoor seating are available, with outdoor seating either on our covered front patio or in our all-weather tent with sky-lit ceilings & seasonal floral-filled planter boxes on Bedford Street.

We were on business trip to nyc, wanted to have a simple dinner with local ingredient. Market Table delivered it! service was good, casual yet cozy atmosphere, and food is fresh and good to value. They source seasonal local produce and cook it well!

Overall, the service was good! Unfortunately, our shrimp tacos were overcooked and a bit on the chewy side, but in the same breath, seasoned very well. I loved the grilled taste! I can imagine how amazing they would’ve been, had the shrimp were cooked correctly. My husband loved his burger and fries. The service was okay. The waiter seemed a bit disconnected, but very nice. We will definitely visit again. I do want to add, that I mentioned it was my birthday and no acknowledgment upon our arrival or at any time. Not a big deal, but it would have made the experience a little better:)

The food, drinks, ambience, and service were all excellent. Every dish was fresh and delicious. Our party’s only issue was that almost every portion was inadequately small. This was especially true of the fish entrées where for $37 my wife was served a small, tail-end portion. Even the gnocchi dish, which was delicious, had only about 10 pieces and could not fill my 16 year old daughter. And this is after 6 appetizers, 4 wasn’t enough for our party of 6. Bear in mind we’re average sized people with typical appetites. Nothing excessive. We’re fine with paying these kinds of prices and have been to the restaurant a few times prior, but overall it was not a great experience for our party. So much so that, even though it was my wife’s birthday, and her choice of restaurant, she wanted to go elsewhere for dessert. To their credit, the waiter sensed something wrong when we declined dessert and actually gave her a single scoop of chocolate gelato with a candle and half glass of Prosecco. You might order just the right dishes and have a very positive experience, most seem to, but unfortunately, we felt underserved.

The food was great! I was pleased to see that they had a flavorful vegan option. They server was knowledgeable and the service was excellent. When we got the bill, we were (pleasantly) surprised! Incredible value for money. We will be back!

I arrived before opening time on a very hot day. The host graciously allowed me to sit at a table and brought cold water. So lovely. The omelette ws perfectly cooked and delicious. Service was pleasant. All in all, a very good experience.

Market Table is always wonderful and friendly The menu has something for everyone and all dishes are well thought out with sometimes surprisingly delicious ingredients such as the pickled watermelon rind in the watermelon salad There is nothing slapdash here - in essence the plates exhibit a French concept, although the food is strictly “new American”. I would recommend Market Table for lunch or dinner to anyone looking for high end food at the right price

Amazing food, truly works of art (presentation, colors) and very delicious! The summer squash side was surprisingly good. The only drawbacks were that the AC was not working when we were there for brunch, and the table next to us was very noisy.

New menu at Market Table is great. I LOVED my app of English peas, asparagus in aioli....just delish. The tilefish was perfectly cooked. I rarely LOVE my fish dishes but I want to go back for this one. Service, as always, is wonderful - never overbearing, just helpful. I will be back. Only thing - maybe up the A/C just a bit! Was warm

We sat outside for lunch on a weekday. It was incredibly delicious and fresh food, really wonderful service, great ambiance outside because it's on one of those little West Village streets. We will definitely return here many times!

What a memorable meal! I am still thinking about it a day later. The location is perfect in the West Village and the food is amazing. I had the cod with fresh garbanzos and sunchoke purée and it was incredibly delicious. My mother had a fresh pea and shaved asparagus salad that was so fresh and beautiful. Truly felt like farm to table and truly innovative.

Excellent experience. Arrived early on a Tuesday evening before the restaurant got busy. Our server was great : attentive but not hovering. Food was delicious, artistically prepared ( pea and asparagus salad); very fresh and satisfying. Looking forward to returning!

A bit on the noisy side and they seemed to be short at least one person on the wait staff as service, particularly the drink order after we sat down was very slow. Otherwise it was a very nice experience.
